Just imagine — you’re five, or something like that. Your parents are fading from your memory and from your world, and the only person willing to take you in is your grandfather. I don’t even know who he is exactly, but he’s got a huge house — and a brother who happens to be a killer, and he’s the one who’s going to train you, all for the sake of your new family. There’s already one kid under your grandfather’s care — no one really knows how he ended up there. He’s strange, autistic, and he’s the only one you can be friends with
I don’t know, it all just seemed kind of funny to me.

Is it still April Fools Day anywhere?
I was honestly so surprised that I’ve only seen one fanart of this scene?? It feels like something that could’ve been drawn a hundred times.
I love Amber so much.
I keep thinking about how, out of all the different versions of the Fool, she’s the one who gets to be the most emotionally open: She’s young and in love with Fitz, she has literal telepathic conversations with him every day for fifteen years, she does all these “foolish” things like creating a new face for Paragon, dreaming about a child and a family with Fitz when they become older. Yeah, she only said it out loud once — when she was just happy to see an old friend — and after that, she always called Bee Fitz’s daughter. And she kept stopping herself every time she got too close to that weird line between "my dear more than friend" and "it reminds me of Molly". And through all of it, she stayed so painfully alone. It’s just… heartbreaking.
Fitz said he didn’t like her — I forget what exact word he used, but honestly, whatever it was, he could’ve said the same about the Fool in general if he wanted to. Sure, he’s the most charming person in the world, but he’s also a manipulator, if he needs to be somewhere, he’ll get there, even if it means hijacking a ship full of hostages.
/Speaking of old friends — and one more thing that absolutely broke me — the dragons, yeah, they’re total assholes, but the way the dragons of the Paragon completely ignored Amber? You were jealous, you considered her your friend, and she was your friend, bringing you silver and all… Funny how, after becoming dragons, you just forgot about her ?
//I rarely write long texts — I have to double-check everything I write in English to make sure it’s still readable. But I have so many thoughts

I read it all in one go and ended up barely having time to draw. It took me about four days for the first two books.
When I was reading fool’s fate I just ignored everything for a few days, and it took me some time to recover after finishing it.
I think I still haven’t fully recovered. I keep replaying the final chapters in my head over and over again
I want to ask if everyone eventually tried the apricot brandy? My experience is to limited to drink it undiluted. But I tried to enjoy every drop.

God, the fact that little Beloved thought that Fitz was interacting with him out of pity… Throughout the whole ass quest... and even before... he didn’t believe that he was truly loved. I didn't remember this moment when I read it for the first time…

My school (which has nothing to do with art) did an artistic competition between students, and I participated in a few catégories, such as ✨️animation ✨️
(btw I won this one)
The theme of the competition was "Symbiosis", aaand I did a fan-animation of Fitz and the Foul 🫣😈
I told my friends but the public and the jury don't know.

The Fool let me look at myself for a time in silence. Then he gathered my hair into his hands. I glanced up at his face in the mirror. His lower lip was caught in his teeth in an agony of indecision. Abruptly, he clacked the shears back onto the table. "No," he said emphatically. "I can't bring myself to do it."

The Skill link and Bond between Beloved and Fitz... The first time ever in the mountains., the second in Verity's Tower and the third in the tunnel filled with water in Clerres. . The are other times they've linked which I have not made yet. I will do so in the future.
P.S. The two trees represent Fitz and Beloved as in Wintrow's window and Bee's dream. They are supposed to be gold and silver but I strayed from the original somewhat... (if I am mistaken about any of this, please feel free to correct me and I will edit the post)

Young Fool out and about during the winter..
The Fool’s winter motley (I have NO MEMORY of how it’s described so it’s probably totally wrong) for trisshawkeye. This was meant to be another fifteen-for-a-fiver sketch but I regret to say I got SERIOUSLY carried away and spent like four hours on it instead. I was meant to do other work tonight. Dammit.
