I love how the first post I see when I come on here after Maggie Smirh died is someone demanding no one buys HP merch in response to her death.
I counter by saying buy all the HP merch you would like, no one has the right to tell you what to do with your money.
Also, by the way, choosing not to buy that McGonagall memorabilia is not going to shut HP down.
They’re doing Hogwarts Legacy 2, a ten year long HBO show, Harry Potter Universal studios is packed shoulder to shoulder, and HP has entire sections, not areas, SECTIONS, at my local Barnes and Noble and 5 below.
HP ain’t going anywhere.
And for the folks out there who disagree with JKR’s views, buying her stuff doesn’t make you anymore of a hypcrite than walking around with that Apple device or Starbucks cup while claiming to be anti-capitalist/anti-consumerism.
Just sayin…….
