Am I the only one to feel an unbidden burst of pride and smugness whenever I look at FF.nets most popular fandoms??

Like, I joined so late but to just see that were #5? That seems such an impressive feat for a fandom that has not awesome canon content. 

I just find it so humorous how some 13-year-olds looked at this:

and thought, “I see potential in this.” And they were right! There is SOOOO much potential! So much so that even after ten years of sucking out the potential there’s still more. It’s so awesomely conceptual and easy to improvise and personalize and contextualize and completely reconstruct that it’s eternal in the possibilities.

And omg this fandom has sooooo many inspiring creators that I’ve looked up whose content is better than any book or art show I’ve read/seen! 

Another thing I love is the crazy range of ships! It’s insane and awesome because there’s actual historical context behind them. The tension is awesome and the characters have literally been brought to life by humanity’s history! What a swanky concept!

ok yeah there’s my love vent for this fandom i’m done now. :)
