Hello??? Oh my god, who the hell made the decision to cut some of these lines???? I have so many thoughts and theories.

The voicelines of Caz literally trying and failing to get O'Connor unstuck from the tentacles and then saying he'll come back is just *chefs kiss*

RENNICK ACTUALLY TRYING TO HELP THE CREW???? The line of him calling the evacuation sounds so worried, and then him telling someone named Dobber (maybe Archies og name and personality) that if they won't get the crew to the chopper, he will??? My God?? Rennick went to get the crew to the chopper, and Dobber and someone else who was infected left! We could've had a possible partial Rennick Redemption!

It also sounds like Rennick would've been even less of a threat as a monster, possibly even one of the immobile ones, though Caz has a line mentioning him and Muir at the same time.

Innes could've survived Muir?? Possibly??

Roy would've actually tried to get to his cabin! He beat the useless allegations! One of my main problems with SWTD was Roy saying he would get his insulin, but never doing it! They should've kept those lines in! That Animal Farm line is ducking hilarious.

Originally, Trots would have taken Roy's insulin! Now the "You Cannae have it!" Line makes sense! And then he would've given it to Caz!!

He says:"Roy's sick, Caz!"

And then he gives it to him!

I can't hear very well with the monster noises, but I think at the start of his and Caz's conversation, he says he's ok? And Cold? He definitely says he's sorry at one point, though! Also that he's disgusting, my poor little communist slug.

Roy's death would have been so different. Caz would've walked in talking about Trots and thought Roy fell asleep. He also would've administered the insulin to try and revive him. I honestly don't know which one is worse.

Roper sounds alot more lucid in his lines. Telling Caz to get out (maybe calling him son) and smoking a cigarette with Caz. And then thanking Caz after. Roper only becomes aggressive when Caz talk/yells at Finlay over the phone.

He says one thing before Caz leaves: "Caz, just kill me."

(Also, Addair would've lived longer, but who gives a damn about him?)

“Gregor I wasn't stationed near the helipad yesterday, I was in engineering?” 

The rig shook violently, followed by the roar of screeching metal as the rig swayed. The crates slammed into his shoulder. His foot slipped when another explosion shook the rig, he saw archie holding onto the helicopter.   

“Gregor? What's wrong-” 

Caz is running towards him, when did he get here? Gregors hands are slipping. air is whipping at his face the ocean waves roar in his ears, he’s falling and then- 

“GREGOR”  

He chokes, his lungs filling with water air faster than his brain can catch up. The wind whips at his face as he falls, his body crashing to the floor. He doesn't know when his legs gave out under him or his hands gripped the sides of his head to try and muffle the roar of rushing blood in his ears 

Who the hell is Simon????

Thought I could start working on the next part of my video, only to finally figure out where the text file for all the mutated crewmate lines are.

I, I'm flabbergasted, there are SO MANY unused ones. Rennick has SO MANY. Ok, here they are:

Out of all of them, I think he has the least unused lines? Tho I focused so much on recording his lines, that I can instantly tell which ones I heard or not.

More SWTD Second Chance AU Thoughts!

Obviously, the crew can't just all stop working on the rig (despite no one but Caz being ok to work), so characters like Finlay, Addair, and Gibbo have to work, or else the rig would break down.

Roper threatens to throw anyone who tries to start the drill overboard. Brodie threatens to do the same to anyone that mentions Raffs going in the dive bell.

The crew is fairly divided on whether or not to tell Caz about what happened 'yesterday'. One side thinks he went through enough for them all, and it would be kinder to let him live in ignorance. The other side wants to tell him to see if it'll jog his memory so he can tell them what the hell he did to restart the day.

(The answer would be nothing. He'd be as confused as everyone else.)

After the day shift ends, there's a long line of people at the radio room waiting to call their loved ones. Gibbo is the first one there.

The crewmates' memories of 'yesterday' end at their deaths, so Innes has no idea about the chopper crashing or Rennick turning (or Muir carrying him around for hours).

But most people remember how hard Caz tried to save them all. O'Connor and Trots both remember vividly how Caz apologized for not being able to help them.

Once Trots is finished with his panic attack, he goes to the radio room to start calling in every favor he has with the NSOWU to get the Beira decommissioned.

The darts finale is postponed until further notice.

Ok, hear me out, Still Wakes The Deep Fandom- Second Chance AU!

The entire crew (minus Caz for reasons) wake up on the 26th, screaming with their "dreams" being of their death and the hours leading up to it. Scooby remembers talking to Caz before Rennick found and killed him, Muir remembers holding Innes right before the debris crushed him, and Brodie remembers the horrific feeling of drowning in oil.

Caz, on the other hand, wakes up, reads the letter...and no Trots to interrupt him because Trots is busy puking his guts out because he remembers (with perfect clarity) posing the mutilated bodies of his friends like they were dolls.

No one's in the Canteen because they're all too busy having existential crises, Roy included. Muir is hiding from Innes, and Gibbo is doing the same with Douglas. Rennick is just hiding from everyone.

Caz has zero idea as to why his friends have all gone crazy overnight and why almost everyone but Gregor and Addair is staring at him like he's the damn Messiah.

(Gregor just assumes he had a hyper realistic nightmare until Archie screams for him to stay the hell away from the Helipad. Addair is still a bitch)

Now the crew is stuck working on the rig, stressed out of their minds while Caz is going about his everyday normal duties with no worrying about going to the mainland because Rennick didn't call him to his office.

I feel very uneasy drawing humans, I still need to gain muscle memory on how to draw them from memory and or reference.

I say this and I say this with absolute truth:

We need more Still Wakes the Deep fanfics.

This game is my newest obsession. So, I offer some more ideas that may be bad, mediocre, or fine:

Been thinking about this so fuck it. Crossover the SCP universe with this game.

(DISCLAIMER: I RECOGNIZE THE FOUNDING OF THE FOUNDATION VARIES FROM YEAR DEPENDING ON THE SOURCE.)

The Foundation has been watching this section of the ocean due to some vibrations out of norm. However, just as when they were about to get involved, the tragedy happened. Now, you have another main character joining the "party" who's part of the Foundation and got there by helicopter (of which crashed due to Innes, but not before sending a signal of distress that alerted the Foundation and near-by sites) is trying to keep Caz and any others alive while the Foundation is on their way with rescue and reinforcement.

* Alternatively, the changing of the cannon events where Caz didn't have the strength to blow up the rig due to his infection getting the best of his functions. However, the Foundation is already on their way and by the time they get there, they begin whatever they would begin and contain the site.

*The side characters (who are not Renneick) realizing they're in a time loop slowly and now are trying to convince Caz while trying to get rid of Renneick (cause FUCK that guy).

*One shots of the turned characters being absolutely aware of what's happening around and to them but being unable to stop it.
