Veilguard Spoilers (Harding)
So, I’ve decided I’m always gonna take Lucanis on Harding’s personal quest, because she says this little line:
“We will thrive, in spite of you.”
Which reminds me of the Hebrew proverb:
“Living well is the best revenge.”
And to me? In my mind? As my Rook and Lucanis both embrace her as she’s having this revelation and in saying that? It feels like Spite was there, too. Giving her the little nudge she needed to power through the bulwark of her grief, as Lace Harding. Not just a Child of the Stone. To live her life as a wholly free Dwarf that no longer requires the presence of the Titans in order to be “enough.”
To become her own person and truly be.
Because it’s hinted/shown in the art book that the Dwarves already existed when the Titans were walking around, but solely served as the caretakers of their giant bodies. Sort of swarming out of them like ants to clean up the hive after a storm.
So, maybe the sundering of the Titans granted them freedom? Free will, even if it came without dreams or magic? Certainly something to think about.
"Oh what do you wanna do at uni?" I don't know anymore, I had a plan but because of my own actions people's confidence in me dropped and my plan got thrown out the window. I've decided I'm gonna do something that they won't expect and aim higher.
I've decided to achieve off of spite.

Joker 2 is spiteful mess. I understand the message perfectly fine. It’s still not a good delivery of the message. Especially since Arthur only drops his Joker persona shortly after being molested.
I’m quite disgusted with that sequence of events. Joker 2 continues the trend of sequels being spiteful messes.
“Oh you mildly enjoyed the first film? Well fuck you.”
For the love of Chaplain , will these pretentious directors get off their high horse? You should be grateful that your film succeeded on such a small budget. Especially when your two previous films were Grown ups 3 and The Road Trip.

I accidentally used self raising flour in lasagne last night instead of plain flour and, in a fit of anger, my dad yelled ‘WHY DON’T YOU GO AND EAT SOME OF THAT AND TELL ME IF IT’D MAKE A GOOD MEAL’ and he was only saying it to be a dick but I am nothing if not a pedant so I have resigned to eat this entire lasagne. I’m on my third bowl and it’s so bad but I am determined.
Lucanis: "For what it's worth, Spite seems to miss him."
Emmrich: "Does he?"
Lucanis: "Sort of like a cat when you shutter the windows and stop him from watching birds."
