This took me about 14 or 15 hours to design and draw (edit). I like how I draw stars. 😂

There are some very depressing things and I am not alright. 😞(so I often complain about several things, and cry sometimes… ) 😂 I am not so sure whether I should keep posting things to social media platforms or not.

By the way I also posted this illustration to some other platforms. You can check out the other platforms. 🤔 Oh, and I am actually not active on Instagram/Twitter either… 😂😂😂 I think I should post more things to Weibo, DeviantArt and Art Station, but I am tired.

I've been playing a game called Sky: Children of the Light. It's just I didn't get the time to draw some fanart of the game. I suppose the game's whole world, settings, designs and the art style are very remarkable and I honestly like the darker parts of the game's concepts.

This little creature is the character I play. This kind of little people are called "Children of the Light", "Sky Children", "Sky Kids" (I call them Brats of the Light), and they glow, and have wing-like things! They fly with their capes.

I only had the default clothes and default mask when I drew these pictures, and I really like how I design the character. It took me some time to draw. (couldn't draw fast enough anyway, LIKE ALWAYS) 😂 (I got a freaking new cape then) My character looks like Danny Phantom, because of the way I drew the hairstyle.

I used different amounts of drawing(?) (not sure how to say the word😂) elements to draw the same picture and I got three versions of a cool character design. One with lines and abstract textures, one with lines, base colours and abstract textures, and one with more elements. Each version has its own characteristics.

I always love my lineart. I like to keep things simple and detailed enough at the same time and having interesting shapes.

You don't always have to colour your lineart, unless your lineart is a part of a coloured drawing, you know. It really depends on the things and effect you are looking for.

My character is a kind of hybrid creature, I guess. Sky Children seems to be the descendants of Light Creatures and Dark Creatures. I don't know if the creators still keep this concept though. I have seen some concept art of the game mentions about that.

It actually feels like roleplaying Danny when I play the game! 😂😂😂The Ancestors/ Elders/ Spirits are some really mean but also caring ghosts who adore the little white-haired ghostly brats and use freaking high-tech equipments and even weapons! Creatures are very playful ghosts and some of them are really cool guides, and nice companions!

(Actually, I have been working on those answers and didn't want to post things here) (I drew too many Dannys, and I still want to draw more… ) (Even a game like this reminds me of Danny, why)😂

Btw, can someone tell me the English names of the places and the Creatures in Sky world, please? (the places' names were different from that of early concepts) I now know 暮土, which is that wasteland (reminds me of the Ghost Zone), is called Golden Wasteland. 🤔🤔🤔 I play the Chinese version, and know the Chinese names. I want to know the English names of "遥鲲" and "冥龙". And why are people calling those crabs "Krabs"??? Is there a story or sth?

Edit: Something is wrong with my character's cape (in fact I only had 7 wings), I realized this on 16th August. I was surprised that nobody told me about it when I posted these images to a few platforms. Perhaps it's not too obvious… And I'm not going to edit these pictures. 😂😂😂 2020年8月16号。

If it’s alright can you do a platonic headcanon of any Doctor Who character’s/ regenerations you’d like meeting a reader who’s like a sky kid. From Sky:Children of light and how’d they react to reader being really friendly and trying to befriend them with a candle. As well as trying to guide them around and drag them away from potential danger (like if they feel a krill is nearby)

This is a great request! Thanks, @themagicspacenerd! I’ve decided to do multiple regenerations and companions, most notably the twelfth Doctor, the eleventh Doctor, the tenth Doctor, and Clara. Just for fun, they’re all in the same time period and location for these headcanons. What can I say, I love a good crossover.

The twelfth Doctor nearly walked past the child but stopped once he realized what he’d just seen, raising an enormous bushy eyebrow.

Similarly, Eleven walks past- but unlike Twelve, who stops where he’s standing, Eleven bounces back to meet the child’s eyes. “Hello there!”

Ten sees the child from a distance and gets out his sonic screwdriver to scan them. The child misinterprets this as him holding out a candle and asking to be friends.

Before the child can get out a candle, Clara walks up. Her face lights up as she says hello and compliments the child on their cape. “Are you pretending to be a superhero?”

The child doesn’t answer but finally manages to get out a candle and holds it out to Ten.

“What’s this?” Ten comes closer and, as the child reaches the candle out, touches his sonic screwdriver to the candle. The light travels through the sonic screwdriver until the whole thing shines. The light slowly fades.

The child looks up, studying Ten’s face, and Ten realizes they couldn’t see the details of his face before.

Ten tells everyone to touch a light to the child’s candle and they do.

The child perks up once they can see everyone’s face, and they put both hands to their chest in an expression of gratitude.

Bonus: “Oi!” Donna yelps as the child drags her away from a weeping angel. “Where exactly do you think you’re taking me?”

Kai talking about black smith stuff with the forest elder, and Nya talking about battle tactics with Wasteland and Lloyd and the twins bing trickster or something like that. 😊 I also just drew a bunch of different ways Lloyd would look going from a noob to a pro. I hope you like it @vlanderzine and I really can’t wait to see more of this au from you!!😊😊

So a couple of months ago I started to play this game and super addictive too it. When I finally got one of my sisters to play I drew her and my sky kids I should probably update this tho cause that was last month and I got my twin to start playing to,my kid doesn’t look like this anymore and we made a friend so 😊I’ll probably update this later

MY DEAR SKY KID!! ^^ days of mischief (and my first ever nice costume) REALLY inspired me, so much so that my lil sky being became it's own person! ^^

her name is Kuori and she's a nervous grumpy trickster who knows how to create miracles, be they good or slightly mischievious! she's rude and untrustworthy sometimes, but has a good heart.

she can also turn herself into a crab and just Adores these beings in general, even though they scare and bite her sometimes! ^^ she sure is Silly...

Why is it that I get the coolest, most detailed and intricate ideas for artworks or sewing projects right as I’m trying to sleep?? There’s this cosmetic in Sky- it’s a New Years item. It was from year of the dragon, it’s basically a black and gold oversized scarf and I’d love to make one for a costume irl and now - from probably 4-6am I’ve been lying awake thinking about patterns, stitches, decals and prop making methods all to make this thing that I don’t even have the money to make 😭 brain, why? I just wanted to get some sleep at a normal hour, why do you do this to me???

I am in agony. I’ve made a sky cosplay before, but it’s very simple - it’s literally just the base game black cape and the days of color cargo pants with a short white wig, kinda actually looks like the dr. Ratio hair one actually- and the chuckling scout mask I think. It was my dream outfit when I first started playing, the one I want to make now though is my main outfit, and the one I’ve turned into a proper OC

Anyways, brb for the next two hours while I sketch out the silly little sleep-preventing thoughts otherwise I’ll:

A) forget them by tomorrow

B) be entirely unable to function until I do,

OR

C) not be able to sleep tonight/today until I do

5am rambling about Sky cause my sleep schedule is severely wack - includes personal headcannons about lore lmao- everything below the cut so you don’t get blasted with a billion words ✨

You’ve been warned. There is a cute little doodle at the very bottom of this to make it up to anybody who reads this tho

This mainly pertains to moth players and Eden, I came up with this after watching a few folk’s own lore videos on their sky kid’s backstories and whatnot- imagine

Yknow all the moths you’ve adopted, guided through the world and befriended in the process? Once they enter Eden, that has the potential to determine their entire fate.

The moth’s who enter Eden, with or without your help, have to make it through. One way or another. Or, they don’t. They quit halfway through because they’re too afraid, or they don’t understand what they’re meant to do. Some manage to make it through Eden, but then think that’s the end of the game. No more, no seasons, no travelling spirits, no upcoming events, nothing.

I imagine the moths who never fully make it through Eden simply just.. die, in a sense. Their light, their soul, whatever you may call it, was not strong enough to withstand the storm and they simply perish and become one of the many statues trapped there, until you eventually come for your next run and free them.

Alternatively, the ones who make it out but quit shortly after - they were corrupted in some form by Eden - namely, the same power that may or may not have corrupted Resh - the Eden elder and/or king. I have my own theories about Resh too- but that’s for another time. They don’t continue, so their light/wings don’t grow stronger. Almost like an infection, they don’t have the strength to fight off the ‘virus’ (the corruption) as time passes, they remain stagnant and the corruption chips away at them until they ‘die’.

The sky kids who’ve fallen to corruption eventually return to either the wasteland or eden. Those who find themselves in the wasteland deteriorate slowly over time, transforming into crabs or simply dying, their bodies becoming seeds for dark plants to take root. Those who end up back in Eden aren’t so fortunate to have such a peaceful end. And I’m using the term peaceful very, very lightly.

Those who returned to Eden are back in the direct line of contamination from, as stated previously, the same power that corrupted Resh - their bodies rapidly deteriorate and give out on them, their remaining light unable to stay strong enough to stave off death. They don’t remain ‘dead’ for long though, the remains mutating into dark dragons or other beings of pure darkness. They wander aimlessly, trying to find any source of light in the hopes that they can relight the fire they lost, have the hope that - as minuscule as it may be - they can return to the lands of Sky and return to their normal life. The consciousness of the child who’s been mutated remains partially intact, that’s the only reason they’re still hunting down anything that gives off warmth - but they’re not aware of what they’ve become. All they know is that they’re cold, and that other sky kids run away from them no matter what they do.

In other words, the sky kids who don’t make it through are eternally trapped, until you provide them brief respite through freeing them during your weekly/monthly/etc runs. That’s why you see them in orbit sometimes. Those who can’t or refuse to continue perish, to put it very bluntly. I imagine after a certain length of time, their remaining consciousness fades entirely and all that’s left is a monster of darkness, wandering with nothing but subjecting others to the same fate as it fell to on its mind, taking out the envy, anger, and spite that got left behind on the poor souls it finds - those that have wandered where they should never have gone.

Ngl the only reason I came up was this is cause I wanted all the players who’ve quit at Eden, before/in/after, to have a purpose. It sounds bad when I put it like that but idk how else to put it— my old account, I started just before season of dreams started and I quit the same week cause I didn’t want to go through Eden, and I was unaware there was more to the game aside from “fly through pretty world, talk to old spirit looking things, die.” I returned to the game midway through season of remembrance, and I’m very glad I did. I don’t have a lot of headcannons for lore or anything like that, but this is one of them, and as sad as it is- I like it. I love the krill, I love the dark creatures and I love the light creatures too. I feel like the dark creatures don’t get enough love sometimes and I wanted to make something dedicated to them - and, again, it’s sad, but this makes me love them even more- even if I fell asleep by accident while playing that one time and got attacked by the krill and crabs so many times that I got sent to the pity room. Meh.
