Sirius
I couldn't draw the background properly so I used a picture, brighten it up for desired effect.
I came up with the idea "16 as a NASA astronaut" and "A star brighter than Sirius."
he wanted to try to carry him too, he definitely nailed it
the horse is trying his best to keep the cowboy safe
sketch. flat color, and without transparency just to see colored lineart
was going for a more worried expression rather than angry (if anything, angry at the multiverse for setting him up for failure!!). Hope I got the expression right!
Made sure to soften the somewhat angry expression in the lineart as the sketch seemed a lot more angry at sir cowboy rather than the world

If you pat or rub his head, it's allll feathers that are smoothened out and mimic bone, you'll ruffle them up!
They only ruffle like this if he trusts you enough to soften them up so they feel like feathers - soft, silky. But if he doesn't trust ya, or doesn't wish to appear weak, it won't ruffle like this. Will stay hardened bone

I haven't drawn in quite a bit so this was some nice practice for me. My friend suggested that I put Sirius into Judar's (a character from my favorite anime, Magi) clothing.
Struggled quite a bit but I think he looks real nice in them!
super messy sketch since I did this real late and I skipped on drawing the hip bones because i super lazy ,,,,
good practice, though!!! It was super fun to draw him in different clothes for once. I also just loved drawing the wings in general

some close-ups to go with the quick sketch doodles I made. Starting with my favorite where he holds his soul and then his wings spread. Loved drawing his wings so much. It's great practice for how I want to stylize his wings or future wings when I get to them!
Oops just realized I forgot to draw his Soul upside down. Oh well. Might keep it that way for reasons
I'll try to make wings as accurate as I can to the bird they're based on. May drift off course just a little but that's only because swan wings just look so funny when you actually get a good look at them. So much different than the anatomy I had first learned for bird wings.

I forgot to say it but Sirius not so skeleton form, let's call it Bird Monster form, is way bigger than his skeleton form. More for intimidating by size and bulkiness first before using the brute strength of his arms for an attack. Which, since it is wood, better hope you don't get splinters!
* forgot to add this is just the smaller form as he can get way bigger
He would rather not resort to fighting first but he is not against coming to such a decision. Especially if it is for protecting birds or the like
I was at first just gonna draw Sirius looking grumpy in an outfit my friend had drawn him in but decided to add his bird form too. Covers more space on the canvas because I did not take up much space at all
Here's what my friend drew! Drew him hilariously slay, love it so much!!! Look at how slay he is! They helped me with some color ideas so maybe I can finally not pull out my hair when coloring Sirius' outfit later. Thank you so much!!!
bit of a painted-ish style sketch as I haven't drawn in a while since I have been so crowded with work. Was messing around with how to paint him and what to focus on
man, can't wait to get to writing these scenes. Just Ink and his little adopted son. Going for fast-paced walks, silly painting away to match each other, mimicking expressions, or just sitting and drawing away!

Man, I've just been drawing Sirius every chance I get. Wanted to do some work on his outfit again. Got a basic outline for his outfit, it's just the colors that I'm moving around. Might even switch it up later and completely rearrange the colors to fit an idea I have
The first outfit is what I was originally gonna stick with. Till I realized that it was just a random blue I was using to rush through.
The second incorporates Ink. Because sucker gets sort of raised by Ink, so I wanted somewhere on Sirius to show this. But I'm not too sure as the colors are throwing me off. So yippee! Gonna try again on this silly guy later!
Here is the sketch and a doodle I did on the side when taking a quick break. I was originally gonna do at least three sketches but lost the motivation partway through, so unfortunately, I only got this one!
Well back to the idea wall I go and maybe I'll even continue to write some of his story some more
