i am SICK AND TIRED of people saying that “sangihun is brother-coded/cousin-coded” or “sangihun is a direct parallel to hwang brothers and so shipping them is practically incest”

while HDH compares their relationship to that of a fraternal one, the key word there is COMPARES. nowhere does it state they are brothers. nowhere does it state they see each other as brothers. ​god forbid childhood friends fall in love i guess

this parallel is used to emphasize how strong their bond is. it is used as a comparison of sorts.

not to mention we literally see them have different moms?? is this not more proof.

“but you can see somebody as a sibling not by blood!!” okay. fair point. i do see some of my friends in more of a sibling manner. but THOSE THINGS CAN BE MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE. one is not always entitled to see their childhood friends as siblings. there is nothing to imply they see each other this way though. especially not with all the freaky eyefucking oh my god.

“hyung”, as we all should know by now, is used between close males. that is in no way further proof. besides, not to pull the homophobia card but i am certain people would have less of that belief if one of them were a woman.

this isn’t about personal interpretations. i can’t stop you there. but PLEASE stop spreading misinformation like “they see each other as brothers”. that is an OPINIONATED INTERPRETATION, not a fact. especially since their dynamic, regardless of how you interpret it, is EXTREMELY important to the plot.

please for the love of god stop it. and STOP CALLING MY FELLOW SANGIHUN SHIPPERS INCESTUOUS.

i feel like ji-yeong would be a thrill-seeker. i mean, she's lived most of her life in misery, why wouldn't she want to get back out there and make the most of it! she'd absolutely convince sae-byeok to ride tons off rollercoasters. of course, sae-byeok would agree. she'd be one of those people who somehow don't scream on coasters. lots of smiles tho :]

gi-hun would coerce sang-woo into riding EVERYTHING. sang-woo would undoubtedly be nervous (yet hide it). he would look up statistics on all the rollercoasters before going, like:

"hyung. hyung, the park website says this rollercoaster has 4.5Gs. do you want me to black out."

and of course gi-hun will assure him that he's going to be fine <3 he'd probably put his hand on top of sang-woo's to soothe him before the ride starts. in the end, sang-woo would enjoy it, but he'd still get continuously anxious before rides start. sangihun would also avoid rides that spin super fast because they'd prefer to Not throw up. also gi-hun would be LOUD asf.

and imagine them taking cheol and ga-yeong too 🙏 GAH that would be so cute!!
