im so sorry for the lack of drawings lately I can only really draw at night since im less likely to be caught on my device but I keep falling asleep right as I start this happened three nights in a row
it fuels me that s.e. hinton put chocolate milk in more than one of her books, I love chocolate milk

i think this is one of my few drawing where I felt I sorta gave the trad sketch justice, im pretty proud of it. I was just experimenting with my style, not sure if I prefer it with or without eye whites.

i like patrick swayze but I do wish they had an actual 20 year old playing darry so the viewer understands a bit better his position and actions. In the movie he felt too old and that made it harder to understand some of his actions, especially since the only time his age is hinted at is when soda mentions how darry could've worked through college, which isn't much.
it wasn't until I was attempting to draw a horse during yearbook that I realized how good of an artist ponyboy must be in order to just casually be drawing them instead of doing homework instead of crashing out trying
its like the equivalent of me drawing 3/4 view sketches on ALL of my hw but 10x harder HOW??
i feel like as a kid Ponyboy was one of those kids who was ALWAYS skeptical of Santa Claus, even if no-one ever told him and thus felt the need to tell other kids that Santa wasn't real so that more people would know the truth, but ended up just upsetting a ton of kids and causing arguments.
ponyboy absolutely ruined some six year olds childhood (as a six year old) because he went on a rant about all of the reasons Santa isn't real
im planning on filling out one of those expression charts for the OUTSIDERS characters so can anyone who sees this pick which character I should do first?? ty ^__^

Ponyboy keeping Dally’s leather jacket and suddenly when he’s pulling it on and looking in the mirror he’s hit with a realization. It fits him now. The sleeves aren’t too long, he’s not swimming in it, and it closes without leaving a gap between his body and the leather. And that scares him. Because that’s when he also realizes that he’s older now. He’s seventeen. The same age Dally was. Older than Johnny will ever get to be.
