aside from shapeshifting, they have limited magical abilities (teleportation and telekinesis)
they physically have no mouth or nose (they absorb oxygen and food through their face at will like a black hole lol)

Some cheeseslime headcanons:
Figure A: a cheesechild, roughly a week or two old. Baby cheeseslimes are quite squishy and rubbery don't produce a lot of... cheese slime I guess you'd call it. Because of this, they are lighter in hue than adults and can't really maintain heat (the slime acts as a fur coat, and regulates body heat). At this age, they will latch into their parent's slime for warmth.
Figure B: a five month old cheeseslime, about 12-ish in human years. They slowly begin to produce their own slime, and their body becomes more liquid and they are now able to retract their paws/hands when needed.
Figure C: a year-old cheeseslime, now fully grown. Their bodies are normally more liquid than solid but they can "shift" their viscosity at will. Their appendages have melted into their own body but can be rematerialized when needed.
Left figure: a proud cheeseslime parent, their cheesechildren nesting in their slime for warmth.
Right figure: cheeseslime parent teaches their child counting I guess. Putting this here for no other reason than to show that I headcanon cheeseslimes have the BEANS 🐾✨
Extras:
Cheeseslimes have a lifespan of about 40-50 years.
They do not have sexes and reproduce asexually. They do have gender identities which they discover as they grow.
Their body temperature is a lot higher than most warm-blooded animals. Not hot enough to burn, but getting there. A cheeseslime's body can reach boiling point during a fever and can cause the slime to bubble.
Cheeseslimes normally can materialize up to 4 limbs at a time (2 arms, 2 legs). However in extremely rare cases, some can materialize more limbs- either an extra pair of arms or even wings.
I'd like to thank the Pizza Tower fandom for making this ugly, smug and completely useless man a comfort character for me. I don't know how y'all do that.

Headcanon jumpscare: Peppino isn't really a talkative person, he feels a bit insecure about his interests and tends to avoid getting into conversations with others bc he figures they wouldn't share is interests at all or just think he's a loser. However, when he finds someone he genuinely knows and trusts, he does infodump a bit about the stuff he likes to them and can go on for hours just talking about it.

Anyway, I had this dumb idea in my head for literally a year and didn't do shit about it until now XD got the idea from the first time I ever encountered Pizza Tower, in the Lario Level Gnome Forest where Peppino has a break for once while Gustavo & Brick do some of the work... and I thought "man how unfortunate if the Noise found him napping like this and just AMBUSHED him in his sleep lmao" and thus... this happened. Yes I got carried away, can't help it these two are too fun to draw-

Uhh vent art ig... been a rough day and a half for me so I drew something to ease the pain. Sad Noisecouple hours... plot twist, the yellow gremlin has a heart.
Headcanon time:
Noise isn't like, too physically affectionate. It's not him being mean or anything he just shows his love differently like playing games together, taking her out to places, maybe pranking some people. He doesn't really know how to give physical affection, and gets a little overwhelmed with receiving it (but will tolerate it for Noisette). But when Noisette gets sad like this, he hates seeing her down and will try his best to comfort her.
Since today is both TDOV and Easter, thought I'd do a little something with the sillies... Peppino, Patches and Vigi showing their love, support and pride ^w^
Wishing y'all a wonderful Transgender Day Of Visibility! Remember, everyone is their own beautiful kind of unique. Regardless of how you represent your gender, or if you have had surgery/meds or not, you are valid and loved 💕

Patches!!! I've finally finished their ref :D also the first time I ever drew Vigi, I think he came out pretty nice for a first try heh.
I also have a backstory for the silly as well, under the cut. If you're interested feel free to take a look. I will be writing/drawing more content of this oc as well as I develop their character so more info about them will be revealed along the way.
Patches is an experimental life form created by the olive aliens, their intent was to create the ultimate killing machine from cow DNA and speeding up cow evolution. The first successful result was the creation of little baby Patches, or at the time “Subject 005”. However, the aliens decided the outcome wasn’t good enough for their needs, so young Patches was rejected and abandoned in the middle of the desert.
After almost a whole day, the Vigilante found the strange little baby in the middle of the desert. He brought young Patches home to take care of them for the time being, and hung up posters around town asking if anyone was looking for the lost baby. After months and months went by and no one had come for Patches, and taking care of them had made the usually stoic cheeseslime grow quite attached to the little youngster. He decides with a sigh, “welp, guess I’m a dad now.”
Under Vigilante’s care, life was pretty much an adventure every day. Vigi taught them many different things such as how to manage the farm they lived at, self defense and even how to properly hold and shoot a pistol (with EXTREME care and caution of course). Years go by, and Patches grows into a young adult. They get a part-time job at Peppino’s as a pizza deliverer. Sure, it’s minimum wage but getting to ride a scooter sure seals the deal for Patches. Plus, their boss Peppino is actually kind of a cool dude, even though he looks like he’s gonna explode from stress any moment. Patches looks up to him, much like how they look up to their adoptive father, the Vigilante.
Super Peppino Bros shenanigans part 2: the sequel. Last time I banned them to the pepto bismol dimension, but now I have banned them to the off-brand toothpaste dimension. Or maybe it's the chewing gum dimension bc it looks like mint and bubblegum lmao. Anyway closeups under the cut:
