At what point in the story do Night Light and Greyhound come into play for the story?
Ooh, I’ve been wanting to talk about this one for quite a bit!!! Okay, this may be a bit confusing, but here goes:
While Greyhound and Night Light are partners who also share a focus season (that being Season 3), they actually get their Miraculous at different points of MTS.
Felix finds his Miraculous in the premiere of Season 3 (which is in the show’s time, during the winter, as each MTS season would be a literal season, with summer being both the first and final season of the show, that being S1 and S5). The first episode would basically be a Greyhound debut episode, with Night Light taking the lead in the second episode of S3.
Zoe gets her Miraculous as a gift from her sister (who is unaware that said gift is a Miraculous), shortly after Chloe herself gets a Miraculous. She is the only hero to get their Miraculous in Season 2 (which is during the autumn) who isn’t a strong focus in that season (LB and CN got their Miraculous in S1 obviously, and CP, RR, and QB all have far stronger plots in S2, while NL is just kinda there with only a little focus). Like the other Season 2 heroes (aside from the elusive Turquoise, who only occupies the first half of Season 2), Zoe becomes a hero in the second half of S2.
Thanks for the ask!
Dropping an obligatory disclaimer before I decide to start rambling about the MTS characters:
While I do have the occasional… grievance… with how the original Miraculous show handles its plots and characters, I don’t completely hate the show. There’s some aspects of it I rather enjoy. That’s kinda what got me started here, after all, being interested in the core concept/premise of Miraculous.
Don’t get me wrong, when we first started coming up with ideas for our own Miraculous show (which was referred to as Mirauclous: Rewritten at the time), it was kind of a “grrrrrr I hate the Miracubug, I bet I could write it SO MUCH BETTER” but I was being pretty immature at the time. Now it’s a lot less about one-uping the writers and far more about coming up with a compelling story using the main ideas of the original as a framework.
That’s why I might tag my posts as “miraculous rewrite” (because that’s the tag people use when they wanna see a different kind of Miraculous), but it’s actually far more akin to a miraculous reboot of sorts. That’s also why the characters will be a bit more different from their OG counterparts than they should in a miraculous rewrite, kinda like how the Turtles’ personalities change a bit in each TMNT reboot.
So yeah, if we didn’t end up keeping some element of the OG show, that doesn’t necessarily mean that we hated said element, it just wasn’t a part of the story we wanted to tell, or it simply wasn’t logical to include with the MTS context (for example, I think Alya becoming Ladybug’s confidant and a temp Ladybug was a really cool idea in the main show, but as you’ll end up seeing down the line, it would not work with the new story events and character dynamics that appear in MTS).
If there’s a particular part of the show you’re especially curious about, feel free to drop an ask about whether it’s included in Miraculous: The Series! If it’s not, I can explain what plot point occurs in its place. While I can’t guarantee that you won’t be disappointed by a few of the changes (quite a few popular aspects do get replaced), I also think that’s there’s quite a bit that you’ll enjoy.

Just MTS Adrien and Felix wearing disguises, no genderqueer shenanigans going on here! (she lied.)
also a bonus mini Felix (Felicity?) because I’m biased and was also testing what colors looked best:
Was practicing drawing with a larger scale and also wanted to try a few ideas I had to refine the Calamity design. Hopefully his details are more noticeable now!
Not the villains being closer to the magical girl aesthetic than the heroes… 💀
If Chat Noir has a million fans, I am one of them. If Chat Noir has a hundred fans, I am one of them. If Chat Noir has one fan, that fan is me. If Chat Noir has no fans, I am no longer on this earth.
Look at ‘im. Just a silly meow meow.
Bonus:

Hey, @dumblr-account, it’s your favorite boy.
(Let’s just say his design needed a second chance)
Well well well… look who got clay-figured!
It’s the big bad himself…
It’s about time I did Viperion…
Also bonus because I really like the colors here:
Marketable Clay Figure Two: Electric Rena Rouge
Merry Christmas y’all. (It’s everyone’s favorite little heathen!)
Rena Rouge anyone?

So what are your powers for the original miraculous and your oc firefly?
Sorry for the late answer! Let’s see if this suffices:
(To save time, I’ll be only go into detail about the changes made to kwami’s powers. Wayzz, Trixx, and Kaalki stay the same, so I won’t be mentioning them. Most of the other kwami have only minor differences, but there are a few major ones.)
Tikki - Loses the ability to purify akumas, retains Lucky Charm, and retains the ability to create protective items (though it takes a bit of time to unlock this power) which will be referred to as amulets. Retains the ability to use Miraculous Ladybug, but due to… a new aspect of the power… it will be used more sparingly past the midpoint of the first season.
Plagg - Gains the ability to purify akumas (destroying the evil in them), but doesn’t unlock the power immediately, retains Cataclysm, and gains a new power called Wildcat, which powers up the user and allows them to be more powerful in combat (think obligatory super forms). However, like Miraculous Ladybug, this power will only be used sparingly from the second half of the first season (for… similar reasons as the Miraculous Ladybugs).
Pollen - Instead of tagging an enemy with their hand (or the top thingy, I forget), the bee holder can create a special trap that, if triggered by their opponent, will contain them until the bee holder detransforms (still working on a title for the power, but it might have something to do with honey/being sticky, as that’s the trap will likely resemble. Maybe Amber (the tree sap that sometimes traps insects)?
Nooroo - I imagine the power is mostly the same, however HM will have a tighter grip on his akumas than in canon, breaking free from an akuma will only be possible in extremely specific circumstances. This level of control over his victims isn’t natural though; instead, it’s a result of his years of knowledge and experience of using the miraculous. Lastly, it will be possible for him to create an akuma while another one is out there, but he can’t make one while controlling an akuma villain, and the multiple Stonehearts or an equivalent with a different akuma won’t be possible (essentially, the consequence of not purifying an akuma is different in MTS).
Duusu - Again, the same-ish power, but with a few new mechanics. Firstly, the peacock holder cannot destroy a sentisapien without being in possession of their item. The peacock will be able to suspend (recall a sentisapien back into the peacock miraculous) and sent them back out again. (I also imagine that a senti’s amok would be far more durable than when it was a normal item. Maybe they can only be destroyed with magic?)
Mullo - Technically the power is the exact same (split into multiples, the size of the multiples depending on how many are there), but it would have a different name like Array, Divisor, or Quotient. Something more division-related.
Stompp - I might keep the name Resistance, but the power is pretty much the opposite of what it is in the original show. The ox is now immune to all physical attacks but not immune to magical ones. (Ex: Style Queen can turn Minotaurox into gold, but if she were to hit him with a crane, he’d be completely unharmed.)
Roarr - The power might still be called Clout, but it has the ability to energize the holder’s entire body instead of making a single large punch. (Theoretically, the tiger holder can choose to concentrate most of the energy in a single body part, like the arm or leg, but that isn’t the default.)
Fluff - Still Burrow, but the rabbit miraculous cannot change/alter other timelines, just the one they’re from. They can change the timeline in a certain way, but they usually restore it to the status quo in the end, as the results of tampering with the timeline tend to be… unpleasant. (The concept is preservation, and the bunny miraculous is usually used to ensure that certain events happen as they’re supposed to.) Maybe there is a miraculous out there that deals with alternate timelines, but it won’t be this one.
Longg - Still the three storm elements (wind, rain/water, lightning), but instead of resembling the holder turned into the element, they’d look more like a dragon. (Purely an aesthetic difference.)
Sass - Pretty sure the power is going to be called Deja Vu, and is more of a seeing the future power than a turning back time one. (Oh, and he can’t use it infinitely like he can in canon.)
Ziggy - The goat’s power will be to turn intangible (and turn tangible again) at will. (I’m thinking the name will be something like Poltergoat or simply Goatst. Or I might just have one of the names without the silly pun.)
Xuppu - Still Uproar, but like with Longg, there’s an aesthetic difference. Less focus on comedy, more on chaos (but still cancels/sabotages an opponent’s power, just not with the goofy gimmick aspect of it).
Orikko - The rooster’s power will be sound oriented (think Black Canary from DC). As for the name, probably something like Screech or Squawk (perhaps with an adjective in front of it).
Barkk - (I ended up giving this one a complete overhaul too.) Primary Care has the ability to heal any living thing, (I’m still in debate with the other person working on this thing on whether it can continuously heal the person until deactivated, or if it immediately heals them to a set amount upon being used.) Either way, a person will be healed more if the dog holder has an especially strong attachment to them, and they need to be in contact with someone in order to heal them.
Daizzi- Quite similar to canon, the pig can incapacitate people by showing them one of their desires. Only now, the power is called Daydream, and will cause those under its influence to fall asleep.
And now… my OC!!!
Flicc: The power will either be called Highlight or Spotlight, and will reveal something important to the holder by lighting up relevant information. (Ex: If she’s trying to find someone and uses her power, magic glowing footprints will appear wherever they’ve walked. I could also see it being used to descramble or translate messages and other stuff.)
Oh boy, this was a long one… Anyway, thank you for your ask and I will clarify anything that came off as confusing or vague (unless I was being mysterious on purpose… MUHAHAHA!!!)
POV: You’re just a little guy. A fella.
More heroes!!! (Yes, I know Minotaurox and Ryuko have extremely similar color schemes, please just pretend they look unique lol.)
Polymouse/Mylene is a very interesting character in MTS, as she seems fairly similar to her original counterpart, but a significant part of her background (and by extension, how she connects to the plot) is quite different…
Haven’t been able to make a proper drawing in a bit. Life’s been hectic, y’know? Regardless here’s some doodles of the… triplets? Kinda???
(The superhero sillies, but with various moods I’ve experienced this week.)
What do you get when you cross No New Design November and Ninovember? This apparently:
The embodiment of misfortune…
I’d like to make a special shout out to this one Tumblr user (I saw their post an eternity ago so I sadly don’t remember their name) who said that the round thing on the Bubbler’s head kinda looked like a man bun. This post is for you (and all of the rainbow as a part of a color scheme enthusiasts).
I like to think that as a superhero, Rose’s personality is a little too sweet (to the point of being unsettling), and she accidentally scares the civilians she’s trying to help. That along with her power, (which is very similar to how it is in the original show except showing people their greatest desire causes them to fall asleep), results in her having an aesthetic that’s a mixture of whimsical and spooky, which was the general look I was going for with her design. (Rose is also known as Pigment, not Pigella, in MTS.)
To make up for my inability to answer most of the miracle box questions I’ve been getting (which is mainly because I still haven’t figured out all of the lore yet, my bad guys!) I’m posting a few silly sketches of the kwami I have drawn:
It’s mostly Plagg and Tikki with a single, mentally disturbed Barkk (I think I was trying to draw her at a certain angle and then just stopped because it looked funnier that way.) Also a few attempts at drawing Flicc, the firefly kwami! (Also the bracelet that Zoe is wearing is not a miraculous, but some random accessory.)
I feel bad I didn't ask this soon, I genuinely just realized I never asked this, but what miraculous make your Asia Continental/Celestial Miracle Box and your European Continental Miracle Box?
Thank you for the ask!
I’ll start with the part of the question that I can answer in entirety. For organizational purposes, I’ll be listing the Kwami in a sort of hierarchical order that is also part of Unlimited’s Kwami lore.
Celestial Miracle Box:
Prime Kwami - Tikki (kwami of creation), Plagg (kwami of destruction)
Elder Kwami - Pollen (kwami of regulation), Wayzz (kwami of protection), Flicc (kwami of revelation)
Minor Kwami - Mullo (kwami of division), Stompp (kwami of determination), Roarr (kwami of elation), Fluff (kwami of preservation), Longg (kwami of composition), Sass (kwami of intuition), Kaalki (kwami of migration), Ziggy (kwami of abstraction), Xuppu (kwami of disruption), Orikko (kwami of commotion), Barkk (kwami of devotion), Daizzi (kwami of distraction)
As for the Continental European Miracle Box, we’ve got a lot more to figure out.
Prime Kwami - Nooroo* (kwami of presentation), Duusu (kwami of animation)
Elder Kwami - Trixx (kwami of illusion), ??? (Number of elder kwami not determined)
Minor Kwami - ??? (Also not yet determined. Apologies y’all, we haven’t been thinking on that part of the story too much yet. I seriously underestimated how interested people would be in the miracle boxes.)
(The number of minor kwami for the average miracle box is about 6-20, depending on the number of elder kwami and what the kwami are based on. For example, the celestial minor kwami are based off of the Chinese Zodiac calendar. So the European Kwami might be based something relevant to the history of the continent. As for what that is… we’re still workshopping it. Like I said, sorry guys.)
*When making this decision, it has come to my attention that it’s kinda confusing to have a European Miraculous have a power (akumas) that references Japanese folklore (then again, wasn’t it implied that the miraculous either came from China or Tibet despite neither of those locations having something to do with akumas?). Regardless, we’ll likely either change the name of the power to something else (maybe make it a spoken word like almost every other power?) or not directly refer to it by name.
(I also realize that the same problem can be applied to amoks.)
(I know NOW that it was supposed to be pourpre, not purple, but I got a lil too invested in the color scheme.) These two might be an unconventional duo, but there’s a method to the madness here, I swear. (Not Ryuko looking like a whole new character here oof…)
Out of curiosity have you ever made or considered making Japanese or Brazilian miracle boxes? I tried to make a Japanese miracle box but got sidetracked with college stuff, so I never got passed the first idea and forgot about it until recently. All I remember is I wanted some miraculous to represent yokai (specifically a Japanese Snow Macaque representing a Yuki-onna).
While I wouldn’t say either has directly crossed my mind, both make a lot of sense and we will likely be considering them somewhere down the line as both seem like locations that would be explored, especially in Unlimited, as the heroes would travel the world far more frequently (in terms of actual episodes, not just specials) in the sequel show (Unlimited is also the show that focuses more on the kwami and miracle lore, so the chance of featuring these boxes is extra likely!)
I’m also pretty sure that there will be canon Miraculous specials in both locations, so we might see which miraculous are featured there and decide what to keep and change. There’s also the questions of which miraculous will be actively shown, which ones will simply be mentioned, and whether or not there are any lost or stolen miraculous in these areas (probably not, since MTS will have worn that plot thread out already, but we don’t have anything too set in stone yet)
Thank you for the ask and I will do my best to keep this question in mind when we start really developing the plot of Unlimited.
In honor of it being spooky month, I have decided to post one of my akuma designs
This is the MTS version of Sole Crusher. When a character gets akumatized, its usually because a short-term situation they’re in triggers an underlying issue that has been festering long before Hawk Moth even started terrorizing Paris (the main exceptions to this being young children, who have had less time for a large issue to fester, but also struggle with dealing with their intense emotions, and the more sinister akumas, who are easier to akumatize due to being full of negative energy). In this case, it would be the short term trigger of Chloe trying to get Zoe to behave like her (which would be more of an attempt on Chloe’s part to show her little sister how she genuinely thinks the world works as opposed to being intentionally malicious towards her) combining with Zoe’s long term traumas of needing to conform to others’ desires such as the kids at her boarding school and their mother (hence why SC’s design has the black and white like Audrey’s style).
Sole Crusher’s power would also be different from what it was in the original series. Instead of needing to touch people with the shoes she’s wearing to absorb them and grow larger, she’d end up summoning giant, high heeled pillars to step on people and drain them of all personality (“If I can’t be myself… No one can!”). This change was mainly made to prevent there from being too many akumas whose power is grow really big, and it fit the soul crusher idea that her name is inspired by far better.
(I also think it goes without saying that Zoe’s acting complex would not be resolved in one episode. She’d probably start to act perfect and sweet with the rest of the cast at the end of the episode, but it’s more that she’s watering down her personality to appease potential new friends rather than genuinely being fully honest with others. Similarly, most of the other characters would hold on to their suspicions of Zoe and not immediately accept her.)
