Iāve come back from the dead, to post my new obsession: Michael Myers! I remembered how much I loved this big boy and like I do with everything, I had to make a cute Au!
Even though this Au has part of the story from the original one, I use the 2007 version, thatās my favorite one cuz it was the first one I watched when I was a kid and didnāt know what was wrong with it xD All the characters except Laurie (I didnt like the 2007 one-) are the ones from that reboot.
In this Au, Mikey did kill his sister and stepfather, except that bully and Judithās boyfriend. He spent 16 years locked up, and Loomis stopped seeing him 2 months before October. Laurie soon discovered she was adopted and that she had an older brother that was locked. She investigated what happened, read every single article to uncover the truth. She wanted to help him so bad, he was only a child that didnāt get the help and support he needed, only a horrible family that caused the tragedy. So her parents even though didnāt like the idea of their daughter being related to a killer, helped her to get Michael out of that place before he was sent to prison, where it would have been actually imposible to free him. After that, Laurie tries her best to give him a normal life, get him to talk, feel human again. Iāve wrote some fragments of the Au in Spanish, I just have to translate them and publish them too! But ill be uploading drawings! So you get this first one of them in Halloween! Michael conviced her to go with him to get trick or treat xD

That being said yeesh I need a new scanner, this was hell to tweak after I scanned it, as I made the fatal error of using the colours red and pink, which my scanner always blows the fuck out of, making the image look terrible. But I got there eventually god damn.

Now now lovelies, don't think I've forgotten just because I was late on the very first day! I just had a baby shower to attend.
That being said, glad I stuck my neck out and tried something a little different with the colouring here. I love it.

I know I am a day late and will probably be for the next ones too, like the theme is ā Strawberryā today and I got no strawberries! š„²š
Anywho, I really liked the idea of Laurie and Michael being some type of oceanic predator and settled for an Orca and Leopard Seal. It just seemed to fit, especially since Orcas are known as āKiller Whalesā and Leopard seals are hunters in their own right! But, Orcas have been known to hunt Leopard seals on occasion too and pairing that with the thrill of the chase?! šš¤
Day 2: Strawberry. Michael just won't eat the berry normally.
Day 1: Mermay. He saved her from a bunch of humans who hunted her for mermaid meat.

First drawing of the year! I love this ship lmao and I just had to redraw the titanic scene with them.
Also, I will NEVER draw them as related to each other,- they are NOT siblings! I will never view the sibling timeline as canon, because it ruins Halloween 1978 completely in my opinion and I WILL throw tomatoes at anyone who argues otherwise!! The Halloween 1978 and 2018 timeline is superior!!!

an au where it is a time swap, so the 78 Laurie is switched to the 2018 Laurie, letās say, right in the middle of the fight right when Michael shows himself when she is searching the home. Of course when he sees her, all small and pinned to the wall in front of him, Michael just freezes. Laurie of course is confused and afraid and he is just so gentle. When Karen and Allyson stop hearing anything (lets say Allyson is already there lol), they go out and Michael is just like this giant rabid wolf that hovers over Laurieās shoulder. When he turns and sees the other two, he goes to kill them but when Laurie tells him to stop, he immediately freezes. And thatās how they find out Michael will do ANYTHING for Laurie.Ā
I feel VERY normal about how he waited for the perfect moment to come charging out at her from the shadows all sexy like a bat out of hell so he could effortlessly steal control of the gun and use it to pin her against the wall seductively.
I feel EXTREMELY normal about how they struggle for control of the knife but itās futile because heās just too strong and instead of stabbing her with intent to kill (which he could do in a heartbeat and with absolute ease) he only wounds her to calm her tf down so he can be intimate.
(DOES NOT PAY RENT IN MY HEAD ā¬ļøā¬ļøā¬ļø)
I feel ACHINGLY normal about how they are not equal in power at all, it only seems that way because heās barely even trying here (he could have killed her outright in two seconds flat if he really wanted to) because heās in love with herĀ and would rather have her and thatās why she ultimately succeeds in burning him alive in the cellar, slitting his throat, and crushing him into tiny hamburger bits in the grinder.
Because he didnāt kill her way back when he had the chance because heās been in love and obsessed with her for forty plus years. š©
He couldāve tried harder in their final fight in Ends too but he was more concerned with giving them matching scars.Ā

(Getting her fingers sliced off by the garbage disposal probably would have killed her eventually but if he really meant business then he could have just sliced her throat or something quick like that but instead this lovebird chose to stand behind her erotically and give couple scars and that just gave her the chance to get an upper hand on him like..)
