Redesign of an old character of mine, named Lavender. She is meant to be some sort of hybrid between a phoenix and a wyvern.
Four different characters, in a more G4-based style.
A pair of dragons, in a slightly different style (mostly the eyes.)
Conceptualized back in October (but it took me until the end of December to watch the pilot.)
Topsy: A friendly little goat guy. He loves to play around and is always asking questions, but he's also a bit slow to realize how his words and actions may affect others.
Matcha: A snooty space giraffe plushie thing. She often looks down upon the others, and is often easily irritated. Despite this, deep down she does care... (her design is very loosely based on this old giraffe plushie I had)
Here's Violette Rainbow. Can't wait to hear her voice! (and/or potentially see the zebras Skye and Mariama?) (also her cutie mark is slightly off)
Here's an attempt at a comic. Based on this silly product I stumbled upon while looking for ideas: https://collection.museumoffailure.com/heinz-purple-ketchup/ (Specifically, while looking at pictures of the Hawaii Chair, some cheesy infomercial product I saw in a YouTube video.)
Did this as an experiment with shading, highlights, and backgrounds. Based on the story included with the mail offer for Clipper from G1, shown here with the Sparkle Pony Sunspot. (I'm not too fond of the sky, mainly the left half.)
Ploomette, one of the toyline exclusive G4 ponies. This drawing is based on her Glimmer Wings toy, which also came with a little peacock friend.
Various random MLP drawings, each done with a different brush in MediBang. Ember (G5 style!): Sumi (and yes the "cutie mark" blends in with the front leg scales.) Gummy: Alcohol Marker Pinkie Pie: Airbrush Zipp (as one of those little nerds): G Pen Izzy (as a Fraggle!): Rough Watercolor
One last round of drawings before the year closes (still 2023 where I live). Happy (early) new year!
First drawing: random set of doodles. Purple mouse critter is a wishing nymph, like Milkyway from the latest arc of the G5 comics.
Second drawing: various G2 characters in a UPA-ish style. (left-right, top-bottom: Clever Clover, Fire and Flame, Giggles and Wiggles, Bright Bramley) (completed earlier this month)
Third drawing: just a friendly assortment of characters.
Another random set of TPOT doodles. The Yellow Face one was inspired by this: https://www.tumblr.com/randomloserlover/737119180662407168/yellow-face-does-it-again-and-yet-another
One of Santa's reindeer is named Comet, so... where's Cupid? But anyways, Merry Christmas!
By jove, Sunny meets Alice, one of the Gift-Givers of the Grove!
Decided to do something where there's an actual environment. (and also I was kind of starved for ideas)
Random set of TPOT doodles, loosely based on the ending of TPOT 9.
A pair of winter/December-themed ponies from G3, done in a slightly UPA-esque style.
An attempt at fusing the Mane Six from G5, inspired by fusions of the G4 Mane 6. I'm not too fond of the color scheme, or that there isn't much of Hitch.
One of the many ideas floating around in my head.
Moon Shadow, a pony from G2.
This was made yesterday. A trio of teal/turquoise ponies from G1: Mirror Mirror, Wiggles, and Princess Pristina.
Submission for Equestria Daily's Luna Day.
From last month. The text is just filler; I was going to draw a third pony there but wasn't sure which one.
This is from last month; it's an experiment with different brushes. Characters depicted: Bangles, Wishful the Bushwoolie, Princess Royal Blue, and Smokey the dragon.
Drawing of Fountain, the blue G5 dragon, from before we knew her name. This one was done with the alcohol marker brush in MediBang, so that's why it looks a little weird.
This drawing is from October; it's a pegasus OC I made.
Quick Sandbar, done as shading practice. (I did this yesterday but forgot to post it until now)
You know Chrysalis and Thorax, Pharynx and Ocellus. But do you recall the sparkliest changeling of all? (messed up slightly on his mane.)
All of the Mountain Boy ponies from G1, a set of UK exclusive Big Brother Ponies. Each one was done with a different brush in MediBang:
Fireball: Turnip Pen (outline), Paint #2 (colors)
Ice Crystal: Chalk
Sunburst: Fluffy Watercolor
Tornado: Round Brush
Thundercloud: Oil Pastel
Lightning: Rough Watercolor (plus the actual lightning brush for the two bolts under his name.)
Submission for Equestria Daily's Cutie Mark Crusaders Day, featuring Babs Seed and Gabby the griffon.
