Greetings and salutations everyone! My name is Lotus, my pronouns are They/He.
I am a multi-fandom writer, I haven’t posted anything but I do write a lot in my spare time and I would be happy if you guys sent in suggestions or request on what I should write.

I struggle with motivation a lot, and I also overthink a lot when I write so please, be patient with me.
I have a few important things to say before I move onto what I will and will not write:
This is a gender-neutral blog. All readers will be classified as gender-neutral or if you are transgender. If you want something specific, then you will have to DM me.
I also write for myself, writing my comfort characters x my persona and will probably post some of my work on here. I am not entirely comfortable with writing others personas or OC’s just yet but I am not opposed to doing so, if you would like me to write any OC’s, self inserts, or persona’s, please DM me and we’ll discuss it!!
This applies to my do's and don'ts, but this is very important for everyone to hear. Do not request anything that goes against the creators wishes, especially if you know that your request is going to be against their boundaries. If you do so, I'm going to say no. We need to respect everyone's boundaries, including the creators! They have every right to have a set of boundaries and should be respected.

At one point in their friendship, Red Son and/or Mei was like "is this some sort of peasant joke I'm too rich to understand?" toward Mk, and you can't convince me otherwise
When planning my Golden Flames AU of course i had to think about rewriting episodes, and I thought, hey, I can write Red into s2, and I still haven't decided how that particular thing is gonna be handled, if I'll even do it in the first place but that got me thinking.
What the hell is going on with Red Son's backstory in canon?
Like the whole samadhi fire situation is different than in jttw, but in dumpling destruction, the Red Boy storyline was, like, canon, so what the actual hell is up with that? Did all the Red Boy things happen after the fire was sealed and swk got beat up by someone much much weaker than before without the samadhi fire, which was the reason for Red Boy's success in jttw, or did he get his shit handed to him by a baby?
(Also the added fucked upness of all the punishments he received, which is something I'm already pretty loud about in the first place, I will never shut up about how wrong it was(actually made a post on it too, but it irrelevant now) and also another question about canon regarding Red's time with guanyin)
And yeah, it was Dumpling Destruction that started me on this.
It would have been really difficult to try and figure things out for this au given this confusion, because if all the Red Boy stuff happened after the sealing then it wouldn't have happened here, therefore the vase wouldn't be available, but if it happened when Red was a baby then it makes it really funny that swk got beat up by a baby, helped seal world ending fire that the kid used to beat him up inside the baby, then protested against killing him, sealed the kid's dad and went on to raise the baby
So because of that, dumpling destruction does not exist in the au regardless of whether ill rewrite the rest of s2 or not.

Mei definitely has Red Son in her contacts either as 'Red Boi' (or some kind of other rendition of that) or as 'moo' both options with an ungodly amount of emojis, and his contact picture is one of those mooshroom cows from minecraft(cause red, and cow, get it?), but with angry eyebrows drawn on it(or a chicken with angry eyebrows drawn on it, or basically anything with angry eyebrows drawn on it)

It's been like a LONG time since I wrote a fanfic, but now I can even draw some pages to illustrate them, so I'll try something :D
The trope is pretty simple: Red Son lost his memories after a battle against some demons. After waking up and wandering around for a while disoriented, he meets MK, who helps him recover his memories. In the middle of this, they discover some new things, like feelings that were previously kept secret…

My absolutely rotted brain was whispering in my ear while I was reading chapter 9 of @kyri45’s comic like, “My liege, I know of another way to change one’s name.”
So TLDR, here’s what I imagined their wedding outfits to look like.
Loosely based on historical costume but I was going for cool looking, ya know. I’m absolutely pants at coloring but I gave it a shot. Included the line art just in case anyone wants to color it, just tag me so I can see it.
