I'm hoping to start up posting on tumblr again! I used to, not sure what happened to my old account, actually! But refreshing it over again now that I'm more confident in my art will be good! This piece is a bit of a style practice of Chaewon from Lesserafim, so I look forward to more like this!
Composition #4, hand carved woodcut print of Mount Pleasant train station in Canada. These are quite fun and relaxing to make even though its less forgiving than painting - if a mistake is made during the carving process you can't exactly fix it :P. The fact that I had no issues with the carving is great :D.
The woodcut is limited edition printed by hand on beautiful paper with a mixture of cotton and paper pulp made in France(yes I am nerding out about paper). Each print is numbered and signed by me and comes with a written thank you note :D.
The print is 20.5 cm x 15.5 cm , 8 inch x 6 inch. Paper is 24 cm x 18 cm, 9.5 inch x 7 inch

Two recent commissions for The Drake Hotel in Toronto Canada. They're both chalk pastels on chalkboards. First is of Rosedale subway station and second is Eglinton West Station. These two are joining the previous two in the dining and bar area. :D
Thank you very much for the opportunity and the support! :D:D

Drake Hotel Artist Interview
Some sketches I did while I was working on my animated film project in 2018. I was testing for imagery that looks both realistic and abstract at the same time. It is that midpoint where you can still make out the forest, yet there is also enough ambiguity to let you see pure, organic shapes.
Aside from the first one, these didn't make it into the movie. With time constraints, I was unable to do as much as I liked.
Here’s another sharpie-on-black drawing that I’ve been playing around with lately for y’all! This one gave me a chance to experiment more with the figure, line work, and texture, and ultimately was a really fun, loose drawing to make!
