that's so fair, actually i love fitz to death , i love all the characters to death (except tbh i love wylie just a touch less ,,,, nothing that's actually his fault, but bc of the new book cover where he has linh pinned against the panakes :sob:) like yeah, they all have development they need 2 go through, but they're just stinky babies, they're so <3333 i am also just very fond of the whole "bUt We'RE CogNaTeS !!!!" guys guys guys what if sophie listens to her ipod super frequently, but she always has that one song she skips (everyone does it, don't deny it) and one day, she zones out while it's playing and she's hanging out with keefe and it plays THAT song about 15 seconds in, she takes in what song that is, and dives to skip it, but keefe is liking the song, so he holds her back he likes the song so much in fact, that he starts stealing sophie's ipod all the time he likes the song so much that he gets dex to do techy things and make it so that he can listen to more of that artist he likes the song so much that sophie secretly goes to the forbidden cities, gets another ipod, had dex make the modifications for it, and gives it to keefe for either his birthday or finals he cries, obviously what if sophie starts hesitantly listening to the artist more, just to see why keefe likes them so much what if she changes her mind and decides it's a bop just imagine them just fangirling obsessively over that artist
The potential angst that Sophie and co defeating the neverseen brings because yes finally they don’t have people trying to kill them or others and they finally get a break and that feels wonderful for a few days but then
What do they do now
For the last at least 4 years everyday has been about it
I mean Sophie doesn’t know a lost cites that doesn’t involve her having to risk her life all the time
What are they even if not fighting the force to be reckoned with
And now people are looking up to them

But it doesn’t feel that way
And they can’t help but feel guilty that in some twisted way they miss the chaos

The neverseen is gone and people have lives to live
But this group, these kids are traumatized

But some part of them will always be back at those memories that will haunt them for the rest of there infinite lives

I’ve been thinking about Elven marriages lately. Does anyone have any headcannons about how they work for me to play around with? More specific question, what color do you think elves commonly wear at weddings?

1) personally, i like the idea of keefe being the more soft one out of the two. like, he’s all bold and big, but the SECOND sophie says ONE sweet thing to him, he just- unravels- he is blush soup. 2) just like- the idea of sophie being the more masc one. i’ve said on pinterest that she’d look killer in a tux with a corset, and she so would, and she’d probably love it too, little punk baby that she is. 3, going along with 2) keefe is fem. he paints his nails, ro teaches him to do eyeliner, sometimes he wears skirts. 4) ro also taught keefe to braid, so sometimes he and sophie will vibing, and he’ll just braid small strand of her hair, and vice versa (see: hiccup and astrid, how to train your dragon 2) 5) keefe bakes. sophie tries, but is really REALLY bad at it. she is, however, very adept at making pasta, which both she and keefe love. because who doesn’t love some good pasta. 6) they paint each others nails while listening to a wide variety of music, and gossip. 7) sophie asks councilor terik to take her to her house guts (what else is there to call it, honestly-) again, and she retrieves a dvd player, tv, and her whole dvd collection. she asks dex to make them solar powered, and he does, smort little bestie boi that he is. sokeefe movie nights and cuddle <3 (also whole group movie nights, but that doesn’t quite fit into this post xd) i have more but those can be for later :)

hadn’t thought about this till now, you’re so right i loved stellarlune, personally, and i loved the sokeefe content (i am basic, but i swear they’re the gayest straight ship ever i just haven’t figured out how to explain it yet-) but i wasn’t particularly fond of how stuff was kinda brushed off- to be fair, though, it was nice to have sophie and keefe hold semi-peaceful and mostly calm lives for once. i mean, this is the first book sophie hasn’t almost died in, as i’ve noticed a lot of people saying (i didn’t realize till i saw the posts and then it just hit me like a train) but like as nice as that was fitzy boi is in emotional a g o n y i wouldn’t have wanted him to yell at people (except maybe alden, for reasons) but shannon could’ve at least given him something to let his anger out??? he keeps having to bottle it up, no wonder he lashes out- in short: give fitz a therapist that lets him yell

i brought this up a few weeks ago with my younger sibling, and i still stand by it- the whole idea of a live action movie for a series where so many of the components would either cost way too much and look like crap or just flatout be impossible to do is not very compelling. the problem is is that the plans for the movie is already underway, and i wouldn’t know the first thing about getting a say in it- what i’m saying is this, more or less: if disney does this right (which i very highly doubt that they will) good on them, but i will not be satisfied :(

Like hear me out like half the book’s dialogue happens telepathically, so either the movie just has a bunch of rly random moments where the characters start staring at each other or they do like a weird echoey sound effect 2 make it sound like it’s in their heads. Neither sounds good 2 me
Also Ik that cgi is like rly good now, but I still live in constant fear of like a rly cursed looking cgi Sander (and Ro, and Calla, and any other non elf character) plus just a lot of things like vanishing and Sophie’s jacked inflicting would translate better as like a 2d animation
Last thing I wanna say is, when u make a book in2 a movie, u gotta cut stuff out- that’s just how it works. No1 wants 2 watch a 4 hour movie. But I just feel like there is 2 much stuff that’s 2 important 2 cut out. I feel that way about a lot of books. That’s why I’m happy they’re making Percy Jackson in2 a show, and why I think they should do the same with keeper
