There's this one ongoing series that I've been following for a while which is essentially just the basis of this and just, hnrrgh. I love Ven and Vanitas getting very protective of the other Heart Hotels, angry for them, teaching them. There's something to be said about them being the ones who Came Before and had the universe dropped on their shoulders, and when that universe comes for the child who saved them they pull out a fucking gun.
Honestly there's an AU I have tucked away to potentially write one day that is actively about Ven and Vanitas just sitting there with their mouths open as they witness Sora's entire journey and when Ven wakes up, they just. Forge the X-blade. Immediately. Go scorched earth on everything. For Sora, and Roxas, and Xion.
Maybe one day.
I just go all soft and warm when there a kingdom hearts AU with venvan while sora being cared for as a little brother both in and out his heart.❤️
And putting soroku in the mix makes it more amazing.❤️❤️❤️❤️

This part has always bugged me for this reason…
so i'm not entirely sure how to articulate this well but i was thinking about the ending of kingdom hearts 3 (as you do) and remembered something
okay so, this scene
chirithy is talking about losing powers, specifically the power of waking, which sora brushes off until he's told he'll disappear,
only to be himself and keep going to save kairi despite the (multiple) warnings
he's truly selfless to a fault for his friends
but he considers himself worthless without them, and is willing to sacrifice his very being for their sake, and even seems okay with it if it means they'll be okay
he so dependent on his friends and the people around him he can't see himself in a good light and seems to truly believe what he says in those screenshots
this mindset can even be seen beginning in kingdom hearts 1, when riku takes the keyblade and sora falls to his hands and knees, despondent. only to then be abandoned by donald and goofy, the two constants in his journey
and when sora does get the keyblade back, it's after his speech on all the people he's met and how his friends are his power
it's super cheesy and i love it and in the context of the first game it's perfectly fine, but taking in the context of the rest of the series, this seems to be the beginning of his unhealthy dependency on his friends
anyways i love sora so much but i also hope he has a segment in kingdom hearts 4 where he's completely alone, even away from strelitzia, so we can explore this part of his character more.

I just wanted to show you how my skill and style have changed over the years of drawing digitally. I really like how I'm developing now, at least I don't draw square eyes anymore ahah
The two people fighting in the background of that one scene are Riku & Aqua btw. They had a fight after Sora sacrificed himself to save Kairi. It was something along the lines of Aqua telling Riku he can't go searching for Sora, and he, being emotionally unstable, snapped and yelled at her.
Villain Soriku au where whats-his-face finds Riku & Sora before whoever finds them in the original does. Can u tell i've only play Kingdom Hearts 3 [from what I remember] Their both wearing really tall high heels btw, like 5 inch heels. [which is tall to me since i never wear heels so-]

I need to fucking sleep man. I was doing so good on this till i had to draw Sora- like wtf happened. I'm so sorry Sora ur animation looks so choppy. Anyway I just finished the Gay Blade fight *Cough Cough* I mean Aqua's fight, and thought this audio would fit them really well. It does, I just wish I did better job at animating it.

This was just supposed to be a more dynamic pose practice. but- It was so Soriku coded that I had to! Plus I was listening to Tip Toe by HYBS. It turned out really good tho, so im proud of it!

Anyway i'm replaying Kingdom Hearts 3 since its the only Playstation Game we own that is still in my game interests. Plus I love the game, it's the second game I ever completed on my own. The first being NieR: Automata. I love Horror, Combat, & Slice of life games. Tho I did cry when they killed off 9S in NieR: Automata.
Honestly, Kingdom Hearts III still just feels like a weird dream.
Like, aw, man, I had this weird dream. Kingdom Hearts III came out, and Vexen was suddenly already a good guy for some reason?
Axel and Saix suddenly had this other friend, and everyone kept talking about her, all the time, but we never saw her.
There was a Toy Story world, and Young Xehanort, like… Split its soul in half? Or something? Somehow?
There was a Frozen world, and, like, none of the locations from the movie were in it? We just kept running back and forth between Arendelle and Elsa’s ice castle without actually ever getting to either of them?
