It's a normal day for Lloyd. He's been receiving looks of mockery and fear from the moment he leaves home until he gets to school, Chen and his friends are teasing him as usual, and his ninja friends are fine. Zane with his usual weird and robotic ways, Cole quiet with his headphones blasting music, Kai and Nya acting like the older siblings that he never had.

And just like any other normal day, Garmadon attacks the city just before lunch time.

Lloyd and the others escape from class, put on their gis, grab their mechas, and head into battle. At first, nothing inusual happens. Lloyd orders his team to take on Garmadon's fleet of marines while he goes after Lord Shark himself. He easily finds him walking in his ridiculous shark mecha towards the mayor's building to take control of Ninjago City,they exchange some heated words and Lloyd is one step away from shooting missiles at his father. Is it his impression or his father is acting more annoying than usual?

Suddenly, Lloyd — or rather, the Green Ninja — is grabbed and thrown off his dragon and — holy crap, THERE IS FRICKING A KUSARIGAMA PRESSED TO HIS NECK.

A dark blue-gloved hand gripping the weapon's handle catches Lloyd's attention, only then does he look at his attacker, who is probably one (lucky) of his father's thousand seafood generals—

... Okay, so he's not wearing some ridiculous sea animal costume, he's actually dressed like a ninja. A black gi with varying shades of blue, some silver details and a single orange cloth underneath the outfit. The only sign of skin that Green sees is in the eye space of the mask. A patch of pale skin is decorated with a some visble freckles that are beneath electric blue eyes filled with determination.

Green hears Garmadon let out that annoyingly evil laugh and he sees the Oni approaching, only then does he realize that the guy who caught him off guard must be another one of Garmadon's soldiers, just with a better fashion style.

Garmadon steps down from his mecha and walks over to stand behind the evil ninja, smirking at the scene before him with malice and... Pride? Why isn't he giving that arrogant and mean face he gives to his normal soldiers?

"Very good move, my son."

Lloyd feels his breath catch and he is sure that this only sentence makes all of Ninjago stop moving.

"S-... Son?!" Green repeats, looking from the boy to Garmadon and back again. The Oni just laughs at his reaction.

"Oh yeah, I never brought him to our previous battles, so you guys never had the chance to meet each other." His father approaches the other Ninjac— his supossed brother — and places two hands on his shoulders, the other two behind his back. "Green Ninja, I want you to meet my son, the Lightning Ninja." Garmadon's sharp, toothy smile was fearsome. "Or Sparky for those close to him." He added, dropping his shoulders and patting the Blue one on the head.

For a moment, the three of them just stood there. Green with his throat at the mercy of Blue's curved blade while his father smiled maliciously. It was a tense moment, just like those in movies where the hero faces the villain after he makes his big revelation, and It was that's what it looked like, with Lloyd staring at his father in disbelief and confusion while Garmadon himself began to laugh uncontrollably.

That's when a throat clearing sound caught their attention.

"Dad, with all due respect, I understand that this is a tense moment and all, but did you realize that the rest of the Ninjas are destroying the fleet and that Cyan and Red are coming with everything on this way, right?"

Indeed, Nya and Kai's war screams sound in the distance.

Weh, te acabas de aventar la biblia de lo más canon que alguien haya dicho!!

En si, creo que es cierto, después de todos esos ejemplos ya dichos, diría que si es posible que lo tenga.

Osea, en sí, quién no lo tendría después de todos esos traumas, enserio Lego está desaprovechando un buen personaje con un buen desarrollo la ptm! 😿

Otro pensamiento sobre Kai... // ⚠ ANGST

Creen que Kai pudo haber desarrollado TLP (Transtorno limite de la personalidad)?

No lo se, Si esto llegara ser cierto, durante toda su adolecencia se hicieron presente estos sintomas "impulsividad" "miedo al abandono" "estado de animo"

¿Y si despues de seabound se quebro? quiero decir, puede que atra vez de toda la serie haya tenido esto pero si este tipo de problemas se presentan cuando empieza la edad adulta y segun la serie y ellos mismos "Son adolecentes mayores" o "adolecentes adultos" puede ser una posibilidad?

Desde que sus padres se fueron sufrió un trauma por ello, y trato de que no pasara lo mismo con Nya cuando fue raptada, al punto de tomar la decisión de volverse Ninja para salvarla, después de esto seguirla protegiendo hasta darse cuenta que realmente no necesitaba mucho de esa protección ya que ella podía valerse por si misma (esto ultimo visto en S1E6)

NOTA: Que se vea como su verdadero potencial no es un poder significativo como lo fue el de los demas ninjas, si no mas un escudo para proteger a otros...

Después, en el último capitulo de la temporada 3 e inicios de la temporada 4 a Kai se le ve mal por la "supuesta" muerte de Zane, dando un discurso en su funeral y diciendo (en S4E1) que debió ser él el que debería haberse ido, también tratando de no ser más "el maestro del fuego" y ahora siendo "Red Shogun" porque ciertamente no se sentía con el poder para ser llamado asi y como es un show dirigido a una audiencia menor el hecho de que su escape sea la ira, la fuerza y que este en momentos teniendo una ideación algo paranoide le da un poco de fuerza, tambien el hecho de que en toda la temporada se le ve a Kai haciendo cosas imprudentes e impulsivas (como meterse con Karlof) y habiendo encontrado a alguien de interés para él y formar de una manera algo desesperada una relación (Skylor)

Luego está el caso con Lloyd, a quien desde un inicio en la temporada 5 se dio la responsabilidad de cuidar de él y estar ahí cuando él lo necesitara. Y para cuando fue capturado por Morro, Kai quiso hacer todo lo posible por salvarlo, desconfiando a ratos y tratando de que todos sigan en pie para poder salvar a Lloyd

Despues de ahi solo lo vemos siento como lo es siempre, impulsivo, algo intenso, etc, Aun que aqui podriamos decir que se encontraba algo estable al no ver algún peligro inminente, esto cambia una vez estamos en la temporada 7, en donde esta mas que dispuesto a pensar que sus padres habían traicionado a todos y aun que se resolvió al final ese problema, se ve que Kai no pensó en otra posibilidad antes que esa, sintiendo una clara desconfianza en todo momento

Aqui mismo podriamos meter el hecho de que la desaparicion de Wu los afecto a todos de distintas formas y a Kai una vez mas lo había abandonado alguien cercano a él, sintiendo una gran culpa por esto, ya que de una forma no intencional pero conciente de la situacion había dejado a Wu perdido en el tiempo...

Además de todo esto tenemos lo más reciente!

En la temporada 9 se le ve muy mal, demasiado ansioso y algo irritado por la situacion, ya que esta lejos de las dos personas que más le importan, Aun que se calma al tener a los otros ninjas junto a él (incluyendo al Maestro Wu)

En la temporada 10 se ve muy afectado por la caida de Cole, y quita a su hermana del volante para ir de regreso y salvar a su amigo, pero afortunadamente Zane lo detiene antes de que haga dicha accion imprudente e impulsiva y se suelta a llorar cuando se da cuenta de que no podran salvarlo... y si bien no se le tan afectado cuando habla con Nya al respecto, es bastante normal en este tipo de transtornos tener diferentes estados de animo (ya que este transtorno se va a los limites de las situaciones, no hay una escala de grises, si no un blanco y un negro) pudiendo ser que una forma de manejar las cosas aparte de disociar un poco de la realidad, su estado de animo cambiara para equilibrar sus pensamientos a unos mas "positivos"

y así puedo seguir poniendo ejemplos, como el hecho de que no confía en las personas nuevas (o al menos no se muestra tan abierto ante ellas como si lo hicieron Lloyd con Harumi, Cole con Vania, Jay con sus propios fans, Zane con Pixal, incluso la misma Nya con Jay! Garmadon, Karlof, Wu(al principio) su propio equipo (al inicio) etc, etc, etc...) sintiéndose aveces algo receloso de muchas de esas personas (como lo fue su relación con Jay la primera temporada y en distintas ocasiones hasta la temporada 6)

Viendo como se sentia mas comodo (o pienso yo con el que más comparte) es con Cole, siendo este mismo quien nota cierto desequilibrio en Kai muchas veces, teniendo ocasiones en las que interviene y otras en las que deja que se calmen las aguas para hablar

DESPUES como en la temporada 11 se ve impotente ante el hecho de que no puede hacer nada para PROTEGER a otros, le da un bajon impresionante y duda de su propia fuerza al luchar

En segunda parte de dicha temporada siguen con este arco, marcando mas aun cuan inutil se siente al no tener lo que lo hizo fuerte en primer lugar, su fuego, teniendo otro bajon cuando no pudo proteger la aldea del dragon de Hielo, Pero finalmente recupedandose al abrirse un poco con sus amigos y hermana (y evidentemente despues de haber recuperado su poder elemental)

En la temporada 12 pierde sus poderes junto a sus amigos y le sale por hacer cosas impulsivas y sentirse magicamente capaz de todo (aun que se derrumba al ver una vez mas la realidad de las cosas, Jaja pobre kai) Pero aqui no tengo mucho que decir mas que el acto impulsivo por proteger a Cole de ser enviado al vacio de nuevo (siendo mucho mas impactante por el hecho de que a el solo le quedaba una vida y en todo momento estaba en un miedo constante por perderla) y sacrificarse junto a Cole para que los demas pasen la linea de meta

En la temporada 13 aun se esta recuperando de ese miedo o trauma al perder sus poderes (porque se le ve irritado cuando Cole lo fue a levantar de su cama) y tambien pasando una vez mas por la inseguridad de no poder proteger a los demas, tratando por los medios que le fueran posibles volver a ver a los demas del equipo (pero esta vez siendo aconsejado por Zane, quien le brinda algo de calma)

La temporada 14 no es su foco de luz

y finalmente en la temporada 15 es donde si bien, esta en la compañia de sus padres, sabe que la relacion que tiene Nya con ellos no es la mejor y se ve que le afecta pensar en esto, tambien cuando Nya suelta lo de "Me tengo que ir" y "los recordare" a Kai se le ve angustiado y confundido, principalmente por un hilo de pensamientos que intentan negar el hecho de que lo este abandondando tambien [En este post lo explico mejor!]

CON TODO LO QUE ACABO DE DECIR y con interpretación de ustedes para catalogar a Kai como alguien impulsivo, algo imprudente, protector, ancla emocional y demas cosas... Puede que sea probable que padezca de esto

o simplemente me estoy haciendo tremenda teoría y Kai es solo alguien que necesita hablar un poco de cómo se siente Jaja
