What if Stanley didn't forget his life before da office but now he has no control over his body, he can't talk, he can't interact with objects in a unique way, he can't even blink. He knows who he is and what he likes and small moments dat are ingrained in his memory. Memories of everyone in da office just being normal and making conversation, going out, and helping friends move. And he knows he will never get back ta dat, but dat doesn't mean he's goin ta just forget it so easily, and when he first hears The Narrator he attempts to communicate, but he can't move, den he starts ta walk without movin his legs, den you look down and has no legs. But whenever ya close da game he gets da bare minimum of control back and he has ta live in constant fear dat he'll go ta whatever purgatory he's send ta in his own mind when ya open it again. Den he learns it's a game. Den he dies for da first time. What if Stanley does lose his mind and has episodes and tries everythin ta escape dat he can but we never know cause we never see it. What if he isn't okay. What if he isn't stubborn. What if he listens ta The Narrators story over and over again cause it really is da closest thing ta freedom he'll ever experience? I've only seen it where he's not okay in da beginnin but gets use ta it only after a few runs, but what if it takes years. And we know time passes da same in dere as it does out here.
