Okay how the hell does support work for the lgbt community. When you say “oh we support you!” You just sort of accept them. Use their preferred pronouns, acknowledge their queer, defend them, and that’s pretty much it. It’s just acceptance. But when you say “support” for the lgbt community I imagine a small crowd of people around a queer individual that chants “let’s go!!!! Keep kissing men/girls!!!!! Take that Testosterone/Estrogen!!!!! You can do it!!!!” Like it’s a sport.
