The new emotion when Riley gets her first period:

Sometimes I question why I keep drabbles and I finish wips, but for right now I’m chuckling at this silly Anxifear fanfic I’m writing purely for fun and headcanons
Inside Out 2 showing Fear and Disgust as useless, whiny ingrates who contribute almost nothing and don't appreciate Joy's importance hits very differently when you remember their original actors refused to come back because Amy Poehler was getting paid way more than them.
I wanted to design my own emotions. Here are the main five.
When making the designs, I wanted to make them distinct from me and each other, including not making all of the same gender as me, like Riley's emotions. I still gave them some of my traits and items I own IRL to also not make them too detached from me.
Here are the emotions introduced in the second film.
I'm aware that my design for Anxiety is very similar to Riley's, to be honest I just like her design.
Some bit of trivia that has stuck with me about the first movie, is that in early drafts Fear was the one to travel with Joy instead of sadness, even becoming the bad guy at some point. I was an easily scared child, so the conflict between those emotions did resonate with me. So, I explored that dynamic with mine.
A few warmups I've done as a finish my semester in college. A lot of characters I've never drawn before in digital.
In some of the drawings I wanted to experiment with my brushes and try a different coloring technique with Kirby.
I also wanted to try imitating the particle effect on the Inside Out characters, though I guess I didn't quite achieve it.

Nostalgia and Joy would be my mains and Anxiety is Nostalgia’s cat and she knits all the time and throws her ball of yarn to distract Anxiety when she’s getting too active on the console.
She’s a cringe furry because I’m a cringe furry :)
Emotions are not something you want to experience at 2am. Especially if your head is being controlled by this motherfucker 24/7
