understanding that Fossil would never be in a relationship with anybody and then still thinking Comet can be "fixed" by completely ignoring her quoiromantic orientation and pushing her extreme fear of people to the side is a little hypocritical too... I was gonna keep that to myself but I don't think I can anymore.
To respect the fact that some of these characters are canonically aromantic is to show the aromantic people you surround yourself with that you respect them too. Aromantic people have to constantly worry about the people in their life suddenly showing romantic interest in them and not caring about aromantic characters' orientations probably makes your aromantic friends/acquaintances uneasy. It goes beyond just shipping discourse
