it is homophobic that i am this stressed out during pride month. what the hell do you mean i have to prepare for college and applications. what do you mean i have to study standardized testing and stuff. i thought we all knew how stupid they are. what do you mean i have to worry about my job too. what do you mean i have to think and do other things which are not silly little drawings and watching TMNT and reading and writing about my favorite OCs. what do you mean.

in the arms of the monster under the bed, i sit, watching my insides and grinning sinisterly at the other monster. the room shifts, swallows me, and spits me out like a vengeful brother worthy of punishment. my foot slips into rooms increasingly strange and filthy. i want to dance as if the end of the world didn’t come as predicted in two thousand fourteen, in slow-mo, and you with your headphones over your ears like a rogue pirate bored of reality, to hold me when i fall and bring me back to normality.

Just read someone online say that they wouldn’t mind the lgbtq+ if they didn’t need so many specific labels.
They’ve obviously never felt the pure joy of finding out that there is a label for you and that you’re not alone in this feeling.
They’ve obviously never felt like a fraud in calling themselves something because it’s an umbrella term but they don’t really feel exactly like the umbrella term so they don’t know if they’re welcomed or if they’re gonna be called a fake or a scam.
