Bruce Wayne and Hal Jordan Headcanons
Their relationship is a mix of grumpy x sunshine energy. Hal loves teasing Bruce, while Bruce pretends to be annoyed (but secretly enjoys it).
Hal constantly pushes Bruce out of his comfort zone, dragging him to spontaneous trips and adventures. Bruce acts reluctant but usually ends up having a good time.
Bruce shows his love through actions—patching up Hal after fights, upgrading his flight suit, or silently standing by his side after tough missions.
Hal flirts with Bruce constantly, even in front of the Justice League, just to see him roll his eyes.
When they argue, it's usually over risk-taking—Bruce thinks Hal is reckless, and Hal thinks Bruce is too cautious. But they always find a middle ground.
Hal likes sneaking little green light constructs—like hearts or winking faces—into Bruce’s peripheral vision during League meetings, trying to break his serious facade.
Despite his stoic nature, Bruce trusts Hal with parts of himself he doesn't share with anyone else. Hal, in turn, feels grounded by Bruce’s steady presence.
They have an unspoken “no gifts” rule for holidays, but Hal breaks it every time with something ridiculous—like a bat-themed flight jacket or green-lantern-colored cufflinks.
Bruce pretends to hate PDA, but if someone looks at Hal the wrong way, he’ll subtly pull him closer.
Late at night, after long missions, they sit on the Watchtower, looking at Earth through the observation windows—no words needed, just quiet companionship.
I have a little head cannon of cap being gender-fluid like if I were a little kid with magic and found out I could change my form or gender I’ll do it like I like my gender but bro switching it up just seems fun plus it would be helpful for stealth missions. Like imagine someone ask captain marvel out for stealth mission and just transform into a girl.

As I said yesterday, I did watch Batman Ninja vs Yakuza League. I have opinions !
Ok, seriously I find this second movie better than the first, but is it because I was crocheting ? We'll never know. But no mecha this time, only some kind of power ranger shit with batphoenix. btw, speaking of batphoenix, can someone explain this ??
WHY IS THERE A MOUTH ON RED HOOD'S HELMET ?!?
Oh, and Bruce's voice changed. I like it better this time tbh. More depth. All characters have. Except... Damian. Still a no for me.
Like the animation a bit better, it wasn't only CGI this time I think, and a lot of reference to the style of anime in the 80s/90s. That was nice.

Best Red Hood suit in my opinion. Love when they do it this way (we have both ways in the movie, just prefer that one).
Not a lot to complain this time, as I said, I find the movie better, except the villain is predictable (like come on ? Calling Batman "detective" ? There's only one person to do so !) but the story is coherent, and well done. So yeah, definitely go see that one. I feel like you don't really need the first one, they explain what happened a lot, but it can help. So yeah, that's it, no real rent from me.
(I'm actually thinking about reviewing more movies in the future, but maybe not alway DC... But probably a lot. Are people interested in a blog like that ???)

can we just appreciate how Bruce used Damian tt ???? Please ???? I didn't see it the first time (too focused on the story, now I went for details), and yeaaaah, i love it.
the frienship between Hal and Barry... god I love them (yeah, my favorites heroes are the original Flash and Green Lantern, could you tell ?? (Sorry for one of my friend, Nightwing is way further away :) )) And obviously : GL and the Flashes. I love them all (yeah, I love mostly Hal, Barry and Wally, but all of them T-T)
And this made me laugh, and my friend -who was beside me when I read that chapter-.

A'ight, who remembers this show, Green Lantern: The Animated Series?
Razer is, hands down, my favorite character and this is one of my favorite ships of all time. I say 'one of' because I still have a soft spot for the Star Wars ships, like Cadsoka (Cad Bane and Ahsoka Tano), Dengatts (Dengar and Latts Razzi), and Sumbo (Sugi and Embo).
Follow up question; who wants a season 2?
They canceled it due to poor toy sales, among other reasons. So sad they still haven't decided to bring it back.
Whenever Bruce can't do something as Batman he sends one of his kids in the cowl. Literally any of his kids. To deal with having to wear the cowl, they turn it into a game: will the justice league notice that Batman isn't the person under the mask?
Spoiler alert, they don't.
Somehow, the league never notices when it's not Bruce under the cowl, or at least that it's not the same person they all know.
Like never.

The Ring of Rage needs a babysitter.
The Ring of Rage, oddly semi-sapient in the way that all ghostly objects tend to be, keeps trying to break into the sarcophagus to get onto Pariah Dark's finger.
Normally, fine. Go sit on the finger of someone locked in Foreversleep, not like it'll change much. But if that ring manages to crack open Pariah Darks comfy forever-box, the Pariah Dark wakes up.
Again.
So Danny, as the current Ghostly Heir-Apparent, having earned his place as Pariah Dark's son by right of combat (ew), is tasked with wearing the Ring of Rage in the human world, so as to forcibly keep it away from Pariah Dark.
So Danny wears it, even though it clashes with a lot of his everyday clothes. Because, like, it does tend to look really evil and give off some bad vibes.
Danny isn't a huge fan of it, honestly. It feels mean to say he hates it, but it keeps trying to convince him to get angry over the dumbest shit.
Danny, as the Ghostly Heir-Apparent, is the only person or ghost who can wear it and not fall to temptation. The only person or ghost who's own personal power outweighs that of the Ring of Rage. So that's fun.
It's like a toddler following him around shouting intrusive thoughts, and Danny just has to keep ignoring it.
Honestly, the only good thing he can say about the ring is that it does the equivalent of a magical girl transformation; if he lets it release some of it's power, and uses it, he gets a red and black jumpsuit.
It's...alright. He guesses.
He stick to doing heroing in Phantom form, though. The red and black, on top of not really being his colors, feel like he's trying to step on the Red Huntress' toes.
So he wears it, but it never sees any use.
Until one day, as Danny is being dragged along to a Ghost Hunter Convention in New York City, a Green Lantern is thrown into the building next to him.
It's a Supervillain, and they're duking it out with said Green Lantern and really, really not caring about collateral.
Danny's parents are right there. They aren't about to let him out of their sights. New York City is huge and covered in CCTV, there's no way he can just...run away and disappear long enough to transform into Phantom. Not without some conspiracy theorist getting ahold of the CCTV footage leading up to him vanishing and Phantom showing up.
What are the chances of that like, actually happening?
Danny doesn't really know, but New York City has always been an exception for weird shit, so he feels like the possibility is distinctly higher than average.
He isn't gonna risk it.
Luckily, he can just do an Anime Magical Girl transformation into the Ring of Rage's fashion choice and use said ring to fight instead of his powers.
Damn.
Maybe it is actually useful for something. Huh.
He lets the Ring of Rage's power wash over him, the red and black jumpsuit replacing his clothes, and a red aura encompassing him as his feet leave the ground.
Granted, he isn't using the ring to fly, but his parents don't need to know that.
"Mom, dad, help the people to shelter; just like in the ghost attacks," Danny says, knowing that if anyone is qualified to herd terrified people to safety, it's literally anyone from Amity Park.
Or Gotham.
But fuck Gotham, and it's creepy BDSM furry brigade of vigilantes.
Dad looks up at him, teary eyed.
"Our little boy is a hero!" Mom cries, throwing up her hands triumphantly before grabbing his dad's arm and dragging him away.
"Don't get hurt now, Danno! Otherwise we'll have to step in!" His dad laughs, and Danny feels chills.
That...that would cause more damage than the Supervillain.
He can't let that happen.
Danny flies up and joins the fray, hyperaware of dodging the blasts and punches meant for him, and missing how the Green Lanterns around him hesitate when they notice he's there.
After two hours (he could have done this so much faster as Phantom, this is so tedious) the fight is over, and the villain of the week is in glowing green shackles.
Then the Green Lanterns, haggard and bleeding, turn on him.
"Surrender as compliantly as you've been so far, and we won't have any issues," one of them says, leveling their ring at Danny.
Danny, bewildered, slowly raises his hands in the air.
"What, did I...did I break a treaty with aliens or something? Is that uh...very professional looking and distinguished alien I just punched actually an ambassador?" Danny froze. "Can we please never, ever tell my parents if they are?"
"...Do you not feel, uh. I don't know. A very big compulsion to kill everyone and everything?" another Green Lantern asks, inching a little closer. "Or to laugh evilly, or something?"
"No?"
"Where did you get that ring, kid?"
Danny blinks.
"Oh, you're upset cuz of this thing? Yeah, alright, I'll just...take it off then," Danny shrugs, and as every single Green Lantern shouts at him not to do it, he slips it off of his finger, the red and black jumpsuit disappearing.
The Green Lanterns wince, pulling back like they're...waiting.
But nothing happens.
"Yeah, I'm just babysitting it so it doesn't wake up it's master. It's not mine."
Or; Danny, due to his Ghost powers/strength and being the Ghostly Heir Apparent, can not only resist the Red Lantern Ring he's inherited from Pariah Dark, but can take it off and not die. This causes concern amongst the Lantern Community. Especially when they learn that the Red Lantern Ring in question is semi-sapient.
A Lantern's Light
This time it isn't Batman, Superman or even Wonder Woman that has a secret child. Rather, it is none other than our resident Green Lantern, Hal Jordan.
Memory holds knowledge and within that knowledge holds power.
Maybe Star Sapphire and Green Lantern did manage to live a happy life before everything went to ruins.
When Danny unexpectedly gets saved by Hal they both stop, just looking at each other...

Danny should've been faster. He saw the fight, he knew how close they were and yet he didn't think to use one of his many ghost powers to get far away. Now he was about to be crushed by a giant piece of apartment building. It won't kill him but it was sure going to be a mess on the streets and that will bring more attention to him than he wants.
Before the giant piece of stone could do its job a green light encased it, not exactly like the ecto-green he saw with other ghost, and stopped it from making him the human pancake he was destined to be, green slightly poisonous syrup included. When the stone was put aside Danny was able to see the hero Green Lantern.
Now Danny has only ever seen the man on tv or far away while the other fights and even then he didn't pay him much interest. But now that he was here, now that he was so close to him Danny felt something. His core, his soul...it knew this man, it new Green Lantern.
"Hey kid you need to go this place isn't safe...for...you..."

Hal is a lot of things.
A test pilot who worked for Ferris Aircraft.
A member of the Green Lantern Corps working with other Green lanterns and venturing out into parts of space that he thought was never possible for him.
A member of the Justice League where he fights alongside other heroes, taking down any evil that threatens the earth and making sure it is a safer place for its inhabitants.
But.
There was a time when he was blessed with a miracle and became a father to the cutest baby in the world. His baby boy that he took almost everywhere with him, playing with him and watching as those blue eyes lit up with enough joy to power a house.
Hal doesn't like to think about those memories now, they always came accompanied with the sound of thunder, rain, screaming and crying. He lost everything that day and he was sure he'd never see those eyes again.
So why...why were they looking back at him?

Danny did not know what was happening to him right now and he was a bit scared. Him and Green Lantern have just been there staring at each other, not saying anything, just staring.
Green Lantern touched the down on the ground and very slowly started walking towards him. Danny couldn't find it in himself to move, he was paralysed and it wasn't completely with fear.
When he was close enough enough Green Lantern looked down at him, not in the arrogant way, almost as if he didn't realize how short Danny would be. Danny was in a bit of awe of how much bigger and more muscled the man looked up close, the way his masked eyes looked as if they almost glowed. Despite all of this Danny didn't feel any of the fear one should when a man this big corners you, rather, he felt safe.
Green Lantern reached out his hand to hold the side of Danny's face softly and he melted into the touch. This feeling of safe and comfort was almost too much, he hadn't this way in a long time, not since he had to run and leave everyone and everything he loved behind. He didn't even realize he was crying.
A loud boom shook the ground they were standing on and Green lantern turned around, it was all that was need to break whatever weird spell was on Danny. Using his invisiblity to stay out of sight he took off, using flight to fly far away from Green Lantern.
Hal is married ?
Yay! Good for him!
Hal is married to a man?
Yay! Good for him! Hal deserves to be happy!
Hal is married to an archer?
Well weird choice but…
An archer that isn’t Green Arrow?
… oh shit
Kyle is a Parallax apologist.
And so is more than half of the universe.
That’s it.
Earth needs to get with the program before another planet decides to keep Hal and give him the love he deserves.
