(my username pretty well sums up this ship, plus, I think both of the pines brothers deserve to have terrible relationships with odd men and or nightmare demons)
Hi so I got back into gravity falls and was reminded of how much I love Stanley Pines, and I would like to share that I think Stan would absolutely capitalize off of pride month, for example :
Stan: Come on folks, get your mystery shack pride month T-shirts!! And don't forget your mystery shack question mark pins, for the confused ones!
Dipper: Grunkle Stan, I don't think this is as progressive as you think it is.
Stan: Progressive is my middle name, now go help your sister paint the sign with glitter.
Mabel: *is painting the mystery shack sign covered head to toe in rainbow glitter*
(Additionally Stan has a pride flag flying on top of the shack, Blubs and Durland bought matching shirts)

I haven't worked out how the Mystery Twins go back in time, but they end up lost and seperated from each other innn front of a certain cabin/shack and in a random city.

I hope this au hasn't been done before because I spent a while coming up with their designs. If this post does well ill go more in depth into the story for this au. I didn't want to make their shapes their symbols in the zodiac cuz I feel like that's too easy and I wanted the shapes they are to embody them in a way I see makes sense. (Mabel glows btw and Ford still has 6 fingers)
I find the fan fiction names on ao3 for gravity falls intresting.
You’ll find a fic named something like “glass shatters in the wind, and so do I” or something else poetic and it’s just the 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝓲𝓮𝓼𝓽 smut you can imagine, but on the opposite end of the spectrum you can find the most heart-wrenching earth shattering angst fix that changes your life forever, and it’s named “whoops my bones are missing (Stanley pines ate my pen again)”
Ok so I noticed @aroace-get-out-of-my-face and @babyblankyerror (PLEASE GO CHECK THEM OUT THEYRE SO COOL)making some awesome prompts so I figured I would try my hand at one (based off a dream I had)
So Stanley is captured. Probably by Rico or something, and in a warehouse all tied up. When Rico leaves to go do something or whatever, Stanley somehow summons a nice but a bit wacky wizard (he had some magical item he stole from somebody that Rico didn’t bother to take and him struggling summons the wizard) the wizard, seeing Stan has his item, goes “oh boy! You found my missing item! Ive been looking for that for ages! Since you found it, I’ll give you one wish!” And Stan, weirded out of his mind, wondering why the guy he stole the item from is congratulating him on finding it, and probably thinks he’s dreaming but not about to give up an opportunity to escape, goes;
“GET ME OUTTA HERE!”
Of course, his mouth is tied up and gagged so the wizard has to work with what he’s got.
Though honestly “drake bug hawk bear” is not a good guess.
The wizard goes “alright great! I can do that! :)” and teleports him outside of the warehouse and tells him he has 24 hours till the spell kicks in (to give him time to leave) Stan, not really listening, jumps in his car and heads out, still confused as hell. Of course, 24 hours later the car is a bit too small to keep driving in and also now is wrecked because turning into a crazy hybrid of a dragon, stag beetle, golden eagle, and brown bear may cause some damage to your surroundings.
So he starts walking. Where, you ask?
To gravity falls.
Meanwhile, Stanford is having the time of his life! He’s researching, he’s finding new, interesting creatures, he’s defying the laws of nature, he’s getting chased down by a unicorn after trying to take its blood for “testing purposes”,
Wait actually that last one isn’t vey good.
But luckily for him, Stan has been walking for days and honestly couldn’t be more willing to fight off magical creatures for his brother.

someone in the tags of my last post pointed out that ford wouldnt know what the no fly list is because he wouldnt know about 9/11 so i immediately rushed to draw this as fast as i could
Headcanoning both sets of Pines twins as trans has so much angst potential because like imagine being Stan Pines, a man who was so close with his twin brother they chose matching names, and almost thirty years after losing your brother and desperately fighting to bring him back you meet your grand niece and nephew, Mabel and Mason Pines, a set of twins who, just like you and your brother chose their own names and who, just like you and your brother, chose matching ones.
Just love the idea that diavolo and Lucifer picked the best or worse mc/reader ever to be part of the exchange program, why you may ask? The mc/reader are from gravity falls and we're close with dipper and mable, they even worked in the mystery shack with Wendy, Stan and Soos, therefore, they've been with the twins on every adventure, went through Weirdmageddon, helped take down bill and so on. So going through all that, they have no sense of fear since they can quickly outsmart most demons in the devildom, they can make what seems to be a useless item into something useful to get out of a sticky situation, they go out and about the devildom with or without company to explore and mange to tame the beasts of the devildom causes hey they delt with a powerful dream demon, what makes a beast from hell scary right? also imagine when they first arrived, they HATED every demon there and it probably took at least 2 months into the exchange program for them to feel a bit more comfortable around the bros + barb and diavolo. i feel like they would either isolate themselves or seek comfort in solomon because he’s also a human, and if they’re smart like dipper, them and solomon would talk a lot about what separates bill from the rest of the demons in the devildom and so on
so anyway
