I bought a lovely little teapot yesterday, just in time for a light dusting of snow. I'll be spending the most of my day in today, but I am going to drop a belated birthday gift off later this afternoon. Now back to readings and discussion posts!
alright, I managed to pull myself together and finish preparing and recording a video presentation on generative learning. i feel kind of bad knowing all these great strategies for understanding and retaining material, but only ever doing summaries! anyway, i also prepped my bullet journal for next week and it seems like I have another grueling week ahead work-wise... but i’ll manage, and i also have a few diy projects to look forward to this week!
PS: let me know if you’re interested in a post on learning strategies!
Winter Studying Challenge
7th January: Do you like the cold?
I think it can be refreshing and nice but I much prefer the feeling of coming in from the cold! I've been raking leaves in the garden this morning to get over what happened in Washington DC last night and now I'm moving onto my next essay. X Emily
got drenched on my way to the uni library so i changed into some freshly washed sweats, got some tea, put on my “bloodsworn death” playlist and am doing course work for the rest of the evening
hello! i’ve been trying to get away from social media these past few weeks which explains why i’ve been gone for quite a bit. it’s been so heartbreaking and mentally exhausting to read about what is happening around the world 💔
nonetheless, i hope tumblr is a safe space for you (as it is for me) and that the studyblr community will continue to uplift each other up and try to get through these hard times together. stay safe everyone.
100 Days of Productivity - Day 75/100 April 17, 2018
Today I wrote up IPT notes, completed an ancient history research table, finished reading The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, and drank a lot of tea. The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society is such a beautiful book, I can feel it creeping to the top of my ‘favourite reads’ list!

Only two days 'til my dream university releases their entrance exam results and I'm trying to distract myself from thinking about it too much (help I'm so nervous).
P.s. I'm now tracking the tag #heyyanie 👋 tag me in your posts and I'll check them out!
