Pizza My Heart!
Although I am on a health kick, I can’t tell you a time that I don’t crave PIZZA! There is something about the gooey cheese and delicious toppings stacked and bubbling together on top of a thin crispy crust. I usually go the delivery route or pop a frozen pizza into the oven, which are both tasty but I wanted to make my own pizza for this recipe. Something a little lighter, a bit healthier, and A LOT quicker.
The best part of this recipe is how incredibly quick and easy it is to make! PERFECT for a weeknight dinner or a quick lunch on the go, or if your like me it even makes for a good breakfast. After making this recipe that’s EXACTLY what i did. I had it for lunch a few days in a row and breakfast one of those days. it only cost about 15$ to get all of the ingredients and I had days and days of fresh leftovers, way better than the price for delivery. It took about 10 minutes total from prepping my ingredients to the plate hot and ready to enjoy!
First I added fresh garlic to the olive oil and brushed it over the flatbread. Popped it into the oven for about five minutes without the toppings (to ensure that it was extra crispy). Then I layered on the mozzarella cheese and cherry tomatoes. I chose to use cherry instead of regular tomatoes because I don’t like tomatoes very much, but I LOVE margherita pizza. The cherry tomatoes are much sweeter and can be sliced extra thin and small, also their bright red color gives the food an extra pop for presentation.
I then placed the flatbread with the toppings back into the oven for 5 minutes. When i pulled them out they were hot and bubbly! I chopped fresh basil and covered the top of the pizza (I prefer a lot of basil because of the delicious fresh flavor it adds to this dish). To top it off i drizzled some more olive oil and balsamic vinegar which combines all the flavors of the ingredients together beautifully.
NOW TIME TO SLICE AND ENJOY! :)
This flatbread was made with such few ingredients and they all were fresh.The bold flavor of this pizza was unbelievable. I tend to like to dip my pizza in ranch but this pizza was SO TASTY, no ranch was needed. The rich flavor from so few fresh ingredients made this flatbread a healthier choice and absolutely AMAZING. Don’t forget to sprinkle red pepper flakes on top to add a little kick, but this is only for the daring ;)
Ingredients:
1 naan
3 pieces of sliced to 1/3- 1/2 inch thickness fresh mozzarella cheese
1 tomato, sliced as thin as possible
5-6 leaves basil
3 cloves garlic, pressed; or 1 tsp dry garlic powder
1.5 Tbsp Olive oil
1.5 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
Salt & Pepper to taste
Instructions
Press fresh garlic and mix with oil.
Brush the flatbread with oil & garlic with half the mixture. Place in preheated to 350F oven for 5 minutes to crisp up.
Remove from oven and place 3 slices of cheese on top of the flatbread, sprinkle with salt & pepper, then place thinly sliced tomatoes on top and repeat with a sprinkling of salt & pepper. Place back in the oven for another 5 minutes, plus extra 2-3 minutes on broil. Watch the bread closely, if its too dark before 2-3 minutes remove it from the oven immediately.
Meanwhile mix the remaining oil & garlic with the balsamic vinegar, stirring until a smooth emulsion forms.
Chop the basil leaves.
Once flatbread pizza is baked and the edges are golden in color, remove from the oven, drizzle with however much of the balsamic vinegar mixture you would like, sprinkle with basil leaves, slice and serve and enjoy!

I've come to once again provide lesser known information about this funky fresh parasite! This here comic (https://loverofpiggies.tumblr.com/post/139824054450/renrink-dangit-someone-else-made-a-comic-like) by CQ is iconic as the first time CQ posted art teasing what Fresh's real parasite form might look like. But a lot of people seem to have forgotten it or not paid close attention to it! So I just wanted to point out that Fresh has more tendrils here than the standard 4 everyone says, I think limiting him(and other fresh parasites) to 4 is going against the spirit of Fresh and his offspring being a unique species with unknown potential! Not saying 4 is wrong btw, just that he can have more! I think he can whip out any number of tendrils. (I usually max him out at 17 of them based on a neat fanfic I saw lol)

self rb because I FORGOOOOT to mention that, in relation to 'fresh going in through the eye' thing, he doesn't have to be in the skull/head to be possessing someone's body, like in the True!Fresh image CQ drew, he's lower than the ribcage and still controlling the body fine...(the other colored tendrils are fresh's parasite offspring, you coouulld argue that they're the ones controlling the host but ehhh) So I like to think that despite the soul Always showing up in the eyesocket, Fresh doesn't have to be in the head to feed on it.
More weird questions I've just thought of, this time pertaining to the Fresh parasite
What is the texture of the parasite like? Is it squishy and slimy, or is it like a shark or sturgeon, in that if you run your hand over it one way, it's smooth, but if you run your hand over it the other way, it's rough?
Is it like an octopus, with being able to squeeze through just about any space? Or are there limitations?
Does the parasite have organs? Other than its one singular eyeball, I mean
Can I squish it, or is it a bit more firm?
Is there any way to deter it and keep it from hijacking people's bodies? I'd use "like salt with slugs/snails" as a comparison, but that's not a deterrent, that just outright kills them
How heavy is the parasite? Can it bounce?
Is it sticky, or does it have little suckers on it to help "climb" flat surfaces?
When it hijacks the body of a human (assuming it goes into the eye socket), what does it do with the eyeball? Does it just pop out the eye and make itself at home, does it eat the eye, or?
I know it doesn't need to breathe, but could it kinda sorta suffocate when placed in a hot enough environment? Is it weak to extreme temperatures?
Okay take this with a grain of salt because CQ doesn't talk about Fresh parasites much, but here's what I've gathered.
It's a common thought to have, but I doubt they crawl into the eyesocket unless it's open like with Sans (or someone missing an eye like Undyne, since Error in askerror mentions Fresh has possessed Undynes multiple times). Remember the kiss list? After CQ said Fresh likes to kiss people as a prank and keeps a list book of people he's kissed, people speculated that he not only kisses to see their reaction, but also when he needs a new host he uses that as a method to possess people via mouth. So no eye eating, only soul sucking.
idk about touch texture but Fresh is stretchy, during a roleplay CQ joined called Timeparty(I may be wrong about it being timeparty but it was one of those events), Fresh stretched his tendrils from his host and wrapped up another character just to threaten them.
I personally think that since Fresh can stretch out so much, he can also squeeze through small gaps like an octopus... makes the 'parasite invading bodies' thing easier.
Gotta use your imagination for the rest... or just ask CQ, though she hasn't written parasite lore in a while lmao. (F in the chat for Capri and Slinky 😔)
And I WILL use my imagination cus I like to headcanon that Fresh parasites don't have internal organs or blood and instead have a ton of tiny orb-shaped organelles throughout their body that serve both purposes.... like... like those orbeez balls..... lil orbs they fill with soul energy all circulating around their bodies...

Things Fresh's stupid glasses say
Hello everybody! I'm back on my Fresh fan nonsense I wanted to make a collage of every time I've seen CQ draw Fresh's sunglasses saying anything that's not "YOLO".
The words on his glasses seem to be able to be changed by him at will, as well as subconsciously(?)... And his host can communicate using them too(though it would probably be incredibly difficult and potentially painful for them to go against Fresh's control like that), their words will just be in a different color than the usual cyan and yellow that Fresh uses.
Context for each:
"OH NO" and "NOLO" - His glasses said that when he was around Sage because he can't stand her
"2EDGE 4U" - His glasses default to this when he possesses UnderFell Sans, it seems like just a replacement for the "YOLO"... so his glasses can probably change to other things while he's still possessing Fell, they'll probably just go back to "2EDGE 4U" after.
"ERROR" - His glasses said this when he possessed Error.
"WHAT" - Ok I'm not even gonna explain this one, it's a lot, baby Fresh is just flabbergasted
"!!! !!!" - Fresh is shocked that Salt would humor the idea of doing drugs
"HO HO" - Festive christmas time! This is a replacement for the usual "YOLO", so his glasses can still change but they default back to "HO HO".
"BRAH" - His glasses say this while he's laughing with Underswap!Sans about something.
"RUDE" - His glasses say this when he's completely ignored by Underswap!Papyrus.
"OH MY" - Another context I won't explain, just know it's from the 'What If Error and Blue were Super Duper Gay' video.
"WHY DO I EXIST" - same context as the "OH MY".
"YOU'RE FUNKIN DEAD" - No context for you, I refuse, if you're curious message me lol
"PLZ end all this" and "Help Me" - His glasses flicker to these words because his Sans host is trying to fight back to communicate with Error.
blank glasses - His grin and silly "YOLO" are gone as Fresh is telling Pacifrisk the serious truth about his faked emotions.
Is greaser sans and Fresh canon?
I'm not sure really, depends on what you define as canon. CQ has roleplayed the ship with Radsee (creator of Greaser, formerly went by Rodsee) and enjoys it, but she's also said "It's so out of character for Fresh to have a relationship. period" about a different ship, after the Freshgrease ship was popularized.
Hope that helps! I see the ship as a What-If scenario, being if Fresh was ever able to develop feelings and cope with them, he may fall for Greaser... Basically a looong string of roleplays is what got Fresh there.(It's also a crush that nobody would expect to happen, because Greaser is an alcoholic smoker and Fresh is STRICTLY against drugs and alcohol to an extreme extent) but in Fresh's default state, the Fresh most people know, he wouldn't fall for anyone because he's incapable of love.

Also since I haven't gotten to see the roleplays myself, I don't know if they ever got together, all I know is that Fresh had a crush on Greaser in that roleplay and Greaser was terrified of being loved because he sees himself as a detriment to other people
Ayo this post is FANTASTIC. I freaking love love love the implications and LAYERS that the Loveball/Timeparty RP events added to his character. HE'S SO INTERESTING. I will point out that the anger thing does seem to be related to learning friendship n stuff like that, here's a post by CQ that explains it.

OKAY SO THE FRESH ANALYSIS
ME DEARLY BELOVED FOLLOWERS, you probably started wondering why I like Fresh so much. Why I have been lovingly rotating him in my mind like a rotisserie chicken.
SO ANYWAYS I AM GOING TO DO MY BEST TO WRITE DOWN EVERYTHING I’VE READ ABOUT HIM. This is not complete simply because I haven’t read EVERYTHING on the old RP blog CQ ran for him. This is also mostly from the perspective of his character so other facts like Fresh using he/they pronouns and having furby bombs and canonically liking kissing (okay actually that does play into his character slightly) won’t be the primary focus of this analysis. This also, All, my own interpretation.
This analysis will be in three sections: His original characterization, his Monologue, and finally what could be inferred about how how his character changed due to the Event that gave us the Monologue.
His Original Characterization
The first thing you need to know about Fresh is that his goofy 90s persona was chosen specifically because they thought it would be non-threatening. This plays into a major part of his personality, which is that, baseline, everything he does is for survival. Once everything needed for that is met and taken care of the next major component is that he does whatever he wants to do to entertain himself.
He possesses people to live, but torments people on occasion (not too often, making enemies would go against the survival thing, unless he’s assessed that they would be a harmless enemy perhaps). All his weapons are innocuous at first glance to once again pass himself off as non threatening (oh hey the furby bombs come into play here, huh, he also uses a wiffle bat).
He doesn’t feel most emotions, but he can feel a few, (and at one point CQ said that the longer Fresh is in the same host the more he can feel? Not sure if that still applies, take that with a grain of salt) but those emotions are fear, anger, and amusement primarily (though affection and others are not off the table, it would just take A Lot of work for him to get to that point). Primarily his emotions that he portrays are all ones he’s imitating based on what he thinks are non threatening reactions. He easily pretends to be chipper or indignant but he doesn’t truly feel most of these emotions. According to posts written by CQ he is not genuinely flirty though him imitating “safe” emotions might put him in situations where he does that (most likely just to entertain himself, which is the primary reason he likes kissing. He doesn’t understand why kissing is meant to be important and does it because he’s amused by people’s reactions to it. Absolutely no thoughts [about kissing] behind those glasses.)
He is also very full of himself. He thinks he’s better than other people (but obviously he recognizes that as being a negative/”unsafe” thing to voice so he keeps it to himself and privately believes it). He thinks he’s better and deserves good things (this is directly stated in The Monologue), which is another reason he amuses himself by scaring people. IT’S IS ALSO A RESULT OF ANOTHER MAJOR COMPONENT OF HIS PERSONALITY: He has an ideology that people are primarily driven by selfishness. This is likely a direct result of him being a literal parasite who needs to harm others to live. He is really unable/unprepared to comprehend that people can care about others so much that they would put their loved ones before themselves. When this is challenged it typically makes him irrationally angry and ready to hurt people (even ones he “pretends” are his friends, and even though this contradicts his need to survive at any cost) to prove to them that they should never trust anyone. This is also why on occasion in a few comics CQ has done Fresh will offer up being possessed to desperate people with the lure that they won’t feel pain anymore (which is implied to be a lie because people who can read souls and Fresh himself say they can hear the host screaming, possibly in agony).
THE MONOLOGUE
Okay so I’m going to explain the events leading up to The Monologue, and then I’m going to share the whole monologue here, then I will analyze it (plus here is the link to the post with the monologue and a more in-depth recap of events from Fresh’s old RP blog)
There was a huge multi-blog RP event (these used to be very common, I don’t go to the RP scene anymore though so I’m not sure if they stopped or I just stopped seeing them, basically a whole bunch of blogs get together to RP through one big common event, typically a party that they are all attending) called the LoveBall that Fresh went to with the plan to infect as many people as possible with parasites he produced and from there infect the whole multiverse (which he claims is to “help” them all). Fresh directly states that he’s not a Sans here, even though this was before his redesign when he was still possessing one (STARES DIRECTLY AT EVERYONE CLAIMING I AM A SANS SIMP FOR LOVING FRESH).
Anyways he gets confronted by another Not Sans, who takes him to The Last Corridor (judgement hall) and Fresh is sure he’s going to die, though he still tries to act unbothered. They talk a bit and it is revealed to Fresh that he is a fictional character (he could see the whole multiverse was code too which is a fun detail), he’s clearly taken aback but still tries to play it off as it’s explained to him that him and the other Not-Sans and everyone they’ve ever known are Nothing, and that it would be for the best if he doesn’t try to get OUR attention.
SO NOW WE COME TO THE MONOLOGUE ITSELF WHICH IS SO GOOD THAT I WANT TO EAT IT. Anyways:
…….I’ve thought about a lot of stuff lately. Ya know. All these inner thoughts I ignore or avoid listenin to. And I realized. Ya know. Maybe I wasn’t lookin to ‘help everyone’. It was some excuse, ya know? I like messin with people. I like the concept that in some way, I’m more clever, or amusing, or hilarious, or-…. simply put, I’m BETTER then the rest of em. I’m better and I deserve to get what I want, and I wanna mess with people and I want to hurt people, and since, ey, I gotta possess people to survive, I might as well ENJOY the process as well, ya know dawg? I wanted to take over the multiverse because yeah, it extended far beyond somethin so noble as ‘helpin’ people, I wanted to take over because I COULD, and because it was FUN, and because I couldn’t be STOPPED. I wanted the power to enslave E͏̷͏V̨̀͜E̸͠͠R̡̢͠Y̸͢͟T҉̢͠H͏͜͞Ì̴̕N̡̨̕G͡. The power to enslave everything. But. I can’t do that. Can I?

BEYOND THE CODE. YOU’RE WHAT I WAS WARNED ABOUT. YOU’RE WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT. BEYOND ALL OF MY KNOWN EXISTENCE. BEYOND ‘THE GAME’. You’re toying with Error. Askin him questions. We’re all your toys. Every single thing I’ve seen, every Universe, every single creature I’ve come across or possessed, every bit of data…. is something you are capable of manipulating, right? And now.I got your attention. Just like he warned me against.
….y-ya know. I won’t stop. Right. I’m gonna keep possessin peeps, and runnin around and having a radical time.

So one of my favorite details here in the monologue is the fact that it starts with him outright stating that he thinks he’s better than everyone else and it ends with him begging us not to kill him. His hubris hit an unmovable wall at 100 mph.
I really feel like the monologue speaks for itself, so onto the next part!
Post Event Characterization Implications
So one of the things that could probably be inferred by this is that all three of his major motivators, His Need to Survive, His Want To be Entertained/Amused, and His Ideology of Selfishness are basically shoved into a blender. I’m sure he still believes in inherent selfishness but his ego about it should be at least slightly bruised, knowing that he’s just as microscopic and inconsequential as anyone else in the multiverse. As for his need to survive and want to be entertained, they’ve both been subverted to different extents. His want to be entertained is completely subverted where instead of being the one being entertained by bothering people, he is now the one wanting to do the entertainment because they believe it is necessary for their survival.
I imagine he is being eaten alive every day by the worry that he’s not being interesting enough and will be abandoned and effectively killed for not entertaining us enough. Though he might be able to push that out of his mind most of the time to continue what he normally does, because he might be able to convince himself that we have to like him for who he is to some extent or he wouldn’t have gotten this far, which seems very plausible given how good he is at hiding his fear and anxiety during his confrontation with the other Not-Sans.
Anyways he’s a bastard and he’s great and I am unfortunately in love with him. He probably wouldn’t be down for it but I will still imagine holding his hand and then picking him up and slam dunking him into a trash can (lovingly).

Sure! If you'd like to know something specific you can ask, but here's some commonly misunderstood aspects of his character.
He doesn't kill his hosts. He leaves them in a weakened state when he's done with them but their soul can recover over time. it's possible for them to get possessed by him again.
He talks using his host. He doesn't have his own voice and as a parasite separate from a host he can't talk, so his voice will only sound like his host's with a different tone. Though it's totally possible but not confirmed that he has a way of mentally talking to his host, it is confirmed that he can hear his host mentally. (He can hear his host in their mind so maybe they can hear him?)
Fresh isn't a disease, a virus, or an infection. He's a heckin parasite, he can only possess one person at a time. He has to physically go into a body and control it. His host's personality doesn't change him at all unless he's trying to pretend to be them, because he has full control. The host can fight his control to do things but this is incredibly painful and can damage their soul significantly more.
Fresh can't feel most things. Fresh lacks most emotions, he can't form emotional connections to people at all. The only things he can feel is fear, a tiny hint of sadism(Meaning seeing people in pain or distress brings him joy), and rarely anger over things he doesn't understand. The fear of death is a natural instinct, as a living creature he wants to survive and continue to live. His joy in suffering of others is a learned feeling, because his entire existence is causing pain, over time his mind has formed a connection, other's pain = his gain, his gain = his survival, him surviving = him feeling content. (His sadism is a very small and muted happiness, it'd be barely amusement to someone with a full range of emotions, but to him it's everything because it's the only way he feels good) The anger over things he doesn't understand was only canonically triggered by one thing, and it was someone sacrificing their life to save someone else. He was so angry someone would do that, because everything he knows is survival, and throwing your own life away is infuriatingly stupid to him, it's too different from his core understanding of life (this only happens when he starts to unlock more emotions like companionship tho).
Fresh is an asexually reproducing parasite. He has no idea of romance, sex, or even the complexities of gender. He doesn't understand love, or any of that. He's physically incapable of basically anything sexual. He does asexually create other parasites tho, he can do this intentionally as seen during Freshmageddon, where he spent three days making more parasites. He will do some things seen as romantic, like kissing, because he doesn't understand the romantic connection and finds the reactions people have funny
Fresh feels everything physical his host body feels. I see stuff in the fandom all the time where Fresh possesses a host and gets them severely injured but doesn't care… This is the opposite of accurate. Fresh can feel everything his host feels physically, but to a lesser extent… and I'd think pain/injury freaks him out because it'd remind him of his fear of death. I don't think he can feel damage inflicted to their soul though, because otherwise possessing people and damaging their soul over time would really suck!

that Neil mashup is just what it feels like to be infected with a Fresh Parasite I think. like, the hand POV makes you feel sort of restrained, in the same way you're strapped into a rollercoaster; it's disorienting, slightly off-putting, and might give you a little bit of motion sickness, but it's still a BOP. it's a good time! and so genuine in its weirdness that even the traces of eeriness (ie the way the hand lurches around) can be brushed off because it's just part of the goof. we are movin we are schmoovin. and also we have contracted toxoplasmosis

Though to be fair canonically Fresh possession is REALLY PAINFUL cus he's literally DRAINING your soul, and it starts cracking over time which must HUUURRTT. I'd think it'd feel like some aching heart pain even at the least intensity, not fun!

Hello everybody, I've come to give you all this absurd reference guide for drawing Fresh. yep. I decided to spend hours slapping this together.
If I got anything wrong or should add anything PLEEEASE lemme know! All ideas welcome!
If you want to see my "research" on this character, let me know in the replies, because there's so much to talk about with him and I'd love to do a character analysis or two, I couldn't put much about his personality or source posts in this because it's just a drawing guide!

this design for Fresh is Tall, we dunno how tall but taller than CQ's Sans characters (or just Geno since he's literally sans undertale with some added steps). But his height is just his host's height sooo it can vary.

Glasses Off:
The host's soul shows up in their left eyesocket
- The soul tends to look unstable (cracks & a sortve stroboscopic effect.. i couldn't think of a better word.) but not in some cases...
It doesn't have to be a white upside-down heart, that's just a reference to an undertale monster soul.
He has a purple substance full of little RADs that emanate from his eyesockets (when his sunglasses are off)
"The soul in Fresh's eyes CAN be cracked. That soul isn't his. it belongs to his host. And.... after a while.... things go bad for the host, and he needs a new one." -CQ

The purple aura(?) can glow and emanate from the eyes when his glasses are on too

Fresh leaves a rainbow cloud of smoke when he "poofs". Either teleporting him and his host body somewhere or leaving his host behind.
Human Designs:
Fresh can possess humans too.
They all look physically different because they're different people that he's possessing.
Fresh can possess pretty much any body, but I thought I'd show the varied examples of humans anyway
Don't forget the orange jacket flaps! or his hat propeller!
I dunno what's up with the multicolor tongue thing. I think it was extra parasites in the host's mouth? I feel like it was scrapped at some point... but I could be wrong
FURBIES!:

The REAL Parasite:
Fresh is actually this little parasite controlling a host body. (if you didn't know that why are you reading this post rn!?! but nah I love new Fresh fans, welcome!)
The main parasite is this purple one with the eyemouth and four(?) tendrils, the other colored tentacles are prrrobably Fresh's offspring (freshmageddon moment?) (I'm not actually sure, I'm just pretty sure they're not part of the main parasite but are parasite tentacles)

I know it might be a little late to ask ( I just noticed you allowed questions again), but since Fresh was in Gloomverse would it be possilble for him to get a hat or have magic? If so, what kind/type of magic would he have? ( I know it probably wasn't cannon but I'm just really curious).
If Fresh was in Gloomverse, he’d have really stupid improbable 90s magic, summoning freaking pogs and furbies and skip its and all that nonsenseIt would be really dumb
