I say I want a real boyfriend but then I think about Balor from FoM and take it back because no man can live up to that slimy, stinky, soggy thief of a pixel
Ohhh, this is such a fun question! I have so many Stardew Valley farmer OCs, but Iāll just pick a few for this.
Aleia ā March
Oh, sheād absolutely go for March. A tsundere blacksmith? Thatās a challenge sheād gladly take on. If she can handle an emo dude, March is nothing. Aleiaās smart, imaginative, and just chaotic enough to push all his buttons, delighting in every flustered reaction. At first, heād find her constant teasing and unpredictable energy downright exhausting, but over time? Heād start expecting it. Then one day, as he works in the forge, heād notice the silence, the absence of her usual antics and thatās when it hits him. He misses her and just like that, heās doomed.
Cerise ā Caldarus
Cerise and a dragon guardian? Absolutely. Her sharp instincts and level-headed nature match seamlessly with Caldarusās wisdom and introspection. Both find peace in simple moments, her in crafting homemade chocolates and tending the farm, him in the stillness of nature. But as a former assassin with magic, sheās more than capable of protecting him. With his power still weak, sheād make sure he rests, bring him food, and casually remind him not to overexert himself. And if anyone dares to hurt him while heās vulnerable? Theyād be lucky if there was anything left of them to bury.
Rosemary ā Balor
Balorās wanderlust and Rosemaryās grounded nature balance each other perfectly. She wouldnāt try to tie him down, but would remind him that home is where you return. Their relationship would be full of playful teasing and mutual respect, he brings excitement to her life, and she becomes his anchor. Over time, heād realize he wants to return to her and when he does, sheād simply smirk and say, āGuess youāre not as restless as you thought.ā
Yvonne ā Ryis
Yvonneās sweet, patient nature and quiet strength would naturally draw Ryis in, his chill and hardworking demeanor complementing her perfectly. As a florist, she has a gentle touch and an eye for beauty, but sheās also fearless in the mines when needed. Heād admire how she balances kindness with strength, and sheād appreciate his steady support and quiet concern for others. Theyād share soft moments in a cozy greenhouse, sheād bring him flowers with a tender smile, saying, āThese reminded me of you,ā while heād secretly carve little trinkets for her to find. No grand gestures, just quiet companionship, knowing smiles and deep conversations under the moonlight.
Thalia ā Hayden
Thalia would love Hayden. As a fellow farmer and a half-witch, she carries herself with charm and confidence, always playful and effortlessly flirtatious. Hayden, with his strong, dependable nature and steady presence, would balance out her lively mischief perfectly. Sheād keep him on his toes, tossing flirty remarks his way while leaning against a fence, watching him work. āYou work too hard, Hayden. Maybe you need someone to help you unwind.ā sheād tease with a sly smile. Heād sigh, shaking his head. āAnd I suppose youāre volunteering?ā Sheād grin. āOh, honey, Iāve been volunteering from the start.ā Heād roll his eyes, pretending to be exasperated but deep down, heās already smitten.
if ur stardew valley farmer was in fields of mistria then who would they romance
I can't get over his hand on the chin pose- It looks so goofy
Thank you @nirikeehan and @theluckywizard for the tags last week!! I am tagging you back and also @junkbabelna and @rowanisawriter if you have anything you want to share :))
I'm playing Fields of Mistria and have suddenly been seized with Celine and Balor ideas, so:
He extends his palm; in it lies an ornate key thatās carved of wood.
āIt reminded me of you,ā he says.
āHow much?ā she asks, and he laughs.
āCanāt fool the shopkeeperās daughter,ā he murmurs. āHow much would you pay for a key that doesnāt lead anywhere?ā
Functionally useless, she thinks. She wishes she could stop thinking for once. Itās a beautiful night out. Balor looks beautiful, too, in the soft light coming from her parlor. His palm dips a little, and she moves to take the key. His smile grows.
āGood night, Celine,ā he says, before he turns and takes the steps down. The wood barely creaks under his light tread. Her dad offered to fix it, but she likes knowing if something's coming. She doesn't want to think what. Except Balor, who barely makes a sound, free to come and go as much as heād like. She watches his cloaked back disappear up the trail, all of her slack and leaned up against the heavy wood of her door. She closes her eyes and lets the breeze ruffle her hair, her clothes.Ā
She slips into her bed and tries not to think about his little caravan, parked across the road, nor about Balor himself in his own room, maybe sitting on the bed, peeling off his stockings and his cloak. She likes this image, him in his bare feet, all alone. Familiar, and therefore safe.Ā
