โข Fanart of the amazing Reprogrammed AU fanfiction by @littlecrittereli! I just finished reading it and I loved it so much that I had to draw something to commemorate it. โข This picture shows that he can see what he's done, but in the actual fic he's barely aware of his actions due to the remote control of his captor, and only has snippets of memories. But he knows. โข I'm still learning to draw on Krita so this isn't my best work but I'm pretty happy with how it came out. Art based off a scene from a lovely fanfiction called "Lost Time". My rendition of Kaden's outfit was inspired by Gashu-Monsata's reference sheet.
Mini spoiler-free review below to see if you'd be interested in reading!
The story is as much about Kaden as it is about Ratchet and Clank. It starts off during when Tachyon attacked, and fast forwards twenty years later where he's in the new dimension with the rest of the Lombaxes.
The way the author portrayed Kaden's suffering after surviving "The Exodus" and with a reason that actually makes sense as to why he didn't go back for Ratchet in the original dimension was very believable. I really related to Kaden in this story for personal reasons.
The only thing I'd have liked to see is to have had spent a bit more time with Ratchet and Clank before they went to the Lombax dimension and to have fleshed out their prologue a little more.
Overall good pacing with a solid, cohesive story. I highly recommend it!

๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฒNEFARIO ARE YOU OK I always get so giddy every time I see a new post by you ๐ฅบ I love seeing the relationship between these two. You have to make a fanfiction or something! I would gobble it up ๐ค because judging from this description it would be so interesting to read! And Gru being unprotected, if it was in one of the movies some wacky hyjincs would ensue and he would be completely fine somehow, but I like how with fanart like this there are actual stakes being added to make interesting drama.
"Are you ok, lad, did he hurt you?"
"Am I ok!? Doc, he almost killed you! Why the heck are you worried about me?!"
Nefario knows he can handle being injured, even if it's bad. But he can't stand holding Gru back or him getting hurt, it breaks him more than he cares to admit. He knows the boy is capable, but he's still a kid.
Also yeah, I would be worried too if I was fucking shot and my kid would be there trying to help me, alone and unprotected... It's uh, it's tough realising that.
But don't worry, Gru would joke around to lift the mood and everything will be fine, just as it always is :D

I was looking through my fanart folder and noticed I had this saved from two years ago. At this point I've scoured the internet for young Nefario fanart as of late and I didn't recognize this one, so I tried looking for the original artist through image searching and couldn't find it. So I'm reuploading it for TROG/Nefario fans to enjoy ๐

โRivet & Kitโ ๐จโญ โข It's finally done!! I've been working on this on and off for over a month now. Dang AJC art studio makes things so needlessly difficult but I pushed through ๐ โข I'm really proud of how this turned out ๐the reference picture I was using didn't have much of the background revealed so I improvised! I think it turned out well :) hopefully it isn't too distracting! Also, in the reference it was Clank on her back but I figured Kit was more fitting <3 โข ยฉโขDo not trace, modify or steal my art.
I made the first sketch of this over 2 years ago 0_0 and until 2 days ago I periodically came back to work on it a tiny bit. Then I decided, "Enough time has passed for this to be a WIP, I'm gonna finish it!" โข And it wouldn't have come out this good if I finished it 2 years ago, because as you saw in the first half of the video, the Umbreon I drew looked quite amatuer. But I've obviously improved since then, so I got rid of the Umbreon in the middle of the picture and made a much more atomically correct one. Also, the reason why the terrain stops suddenly is because there's a cliff there with the river being a waterfall at the edge. Happy Father's Day! :) (And happy belated Mother's Day) I got inspired to draw a "transparent" Stitch because I have a PJ pants with some Stitch drawings on the side, but aren't fully colored in since the pants is Stitch's main fur color (dark blue), it blends in nicely. So, yesterday I drew Stitch sitting and outlined it pink first (since the transparent background I had was a white checkered pattern), then when I was done I changed it to white, and colored in a few parts and got a blue abstract background from Google to go along with it and I think it looks really cool :D โข Also, I found another picture of a blue abstract background on Google and decided to use the second one with a Mother's day version of this, seeing as I love both backgrounds. Guys. You do not know HOW LONG it took me to edit this. 0_0 Camtasia couldn't handle it all at once (I guess the files were too big?), so I had to split the full video into 4 chunks, render those individually, then put them all together in the timeline and render that. Not very convenient. Also, I updated my intro and outro, what do you think :)? I'll post a few separate videos with all my previous intros and outros. I'll even show you one that I never used in a video :3 In 2015, I'd watch speedpaints (mostly by Anasonyc) of people's characters from Animal Jam. I wished I could draw digital art, had a tablet, and had overall good drawing skills to recreate my own outfits from AJ and onto my computer screen. Now that my skills have improved since then, and got my 2 year old drawing tablet (I've had my tablet since 2017 but rarely used it), and SAI to work, I have fulfilled my younger self's dream. :D This is the longest time I've ever spent on a drawing (almost 10 hours o.o), let alone a digital piece, because I like doing traditional most of the time. I see a few issues with it, but are minor ones at most that aren't distracting. Also, I put a swirl in the background for a PFP kind of feel, though I'm not sure if I'll be making this my profile picture. (Maybe, maybe!)
