In order to celebrate the death of Dracula here is a sneak peak of an AU I’ve been cooking up
I think what I love most about current day tumblr and it’s obsession with things like Dracula daily and Goncharov is that it’s a reminder that the internet and social media can be fun. It’s not all algorithms and selling things to you based on data the company got from tracking all your movements. Sometimes it’s about coming together to have fun over something completely superfluous and stupid but ultimately meaningful because we gave it meaning.
If Dracula Daily is reading the travel blog of our good friend Jonathan, Voyage of the Nautilus is reading the diary of a 40 year old man writing about his crush (and the cool field trips his crush takes him on) in pink glitter gel pen while kicking his feet
Dracula Daily… Voyage of the Nautilus… Whale Weekly… I might have to start sending out Foundation Centurily. The whole trilogy by email starting now and ending in 2422.

okay but you guys realise our shared obsession with hit mafia drama Goncharov (1973) by Martin Scorsese is just all of us taking a film studies course after we finished our literature seminar on Bram Stoker's Dracula, here at Tumblr University
