fouad’s father, sameh, who is 62 years old. has a family of 17 people, which is a lot! and during the genocide happening in gaza, with barely any food, medicine, etc. it’s hard having to take care of that many people. sameh also suffers from hearing loss, and there are no medications to help him. which he needs those meds

My name is Abdullah, a university student, 20 years old. I was forced to leave my home in the north of Gaza and go to the south under bombardment. I lived far from my home for a year and a half. I lived in a tent for 9 months and lived in very difficult conditions in the summer and winter. We suffered a lot, a suffering that I cannot sum up in a few words. There were many nights of fear, cold, and rain.🥶🌧️

I am Hanaa, a resident of Gaza City, specifically in the northern Gaza Strip. I am 38 years old. I live with my eight children and my husband in the Gaza Strip. Before the war on Gaza began, I was living a happy life with my children and my husband. We had a monthly income that was sufficient to meet our needs and fulfill our requests. When the war on Gaza began on 10/7/2023, we lived as homeless people after our entire house was bombed at the beginning of the war. We were displaced to countless areas since the first day of the war. After more than 200 days of the war, one of my sons was martyred and two others were injured while trying to find us food to satisfy our hunger. I became fully responsible for him after my eldest son was martyred and the other two were seriously injured. My children, my husband and I live in displacement camps. We have no other shelter. Six months ago, my husband Anas, a kind-hearted man who endured a life of poverty, was killed by a random shell while on his way to work as a taxi driver. Since that tragic day, I’ve been left to carry the unbearable weight of life alone.
I held a diploma in international secretarial studies and was about to start a job to help support my family. But the war shattered not only our home but also my hopes and dreams. We’ve been displaced six times and now live in a tent that offers no shelter from the bitter cold or the ever-looming fear.
