Looking to watch Villainous?
Hi there! For those of you who were looking to watch the series, “Villainous”. But can’t find where to watch it: either because it is out of your country/state, or on a streaming service unavailable to you. I was in the same place as you, but after a lot of searching- though, totally legal means. I managed to download the six unavailable episodes (I’m not counting Dreadful Dawn because that’s on YouTube), I was extremely lucky to find them in not only high quality but with English subtitles! Stop taking people with dementia to the cemetery
“Oh yeah, every time that dad forgets mom is dead, we head to the cemetery so he can see her gravestone.”
WHAT. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard some version of this awful story. Stop taking people with dementia to the cemetery. Seriously. I cringe every single time someone tells me about their “plan” to remind a loved one that their loved one is dead.
I also hear this a lot: “I keep reminding mom that her sister is dead, and sometimes she recalls it once I’ve said it.” That’s still not a good thing. Why are we trying to force people to remember that their loved ones have passed away?
If your loved one with dementia has lost track of their timeline, and forgotten that a loved one is dead, don’t remind them. What’s the point of reintroducing that kind of pain? Here’s the thing: they will forget again, and they will ask again. You’re never, ever, ever, going to “convince” them of something permanently.
Instead, do this:
“Dad, where do you think mom is?”
When he tells you the answer, repeat that answer to him and assert that it sounds correct. For example, if he says, “I think mom is at work,” say, “Yes, that sounds right, I think she must be at work.” If he says, “I think she passed away,” say, “Yes, she passed away.”
People like the answer that they gave you. Also, it takes you off the hook to “come up with something” that satisfies them. Then, twenty minutes later, when they ask where mom is, repeat what they originally told you.

bojack once tells mr peanutbutter about his mother in more detail, as well as about her dementia. and pb begins to worry that boj will be affected by this disease sooner or later too, so he starts to monitor his health even more. AND also from now on tries to bring him all kinds of crosswords riddles puzzles etc and makes him to do them so that bojack trains his brain activity

Dementia is adorable! Or is it spelled Demencia?...I think am spelling it in English but I say it in Spanish XD I still love her anyways she's so crazy cute!

This is so important. I never had to experience anything like that, but I have an schizofrenic godfather and I know how it seems real to him
No doctor will ever get my respect like the woman in the ER who checked me for claws and fangs because I told her I was turning into a werewolf and could feel it and let me know gently that she couldn't find any but that didnt make it feel any less real, like THATS how you do it, other doctors who just flat out told me I was wrong take notes

Are we getting any new content any time soon? It feels like we're in a drought.
Do people not know that it takes up to 8 months to make one 11 minute episode?? Animation takes a LONG time, we have to be patient.
We have waited longer before, but I suppose the pilot attracted new fans that didn’t have to wait the initial and much longer hiatus until the orientation videos and then the pilot xD
They’re also trying to keep our interest with instagram and the streams. We should be thankful. Even if they don’t do streams anymore, they did them for a long a really time until 1 month ago.
