some images i found of computers being in love!! i didnt wanna add too much edgar, but this is ( unfortunately ) a rare genre of image.
Picked up this Disney CRT TV and cleaned it up (it was veeeery dirty). First time messing with a CRT, took safety precautions to properly discharge so I could clean it all up (it was in a basement for years, very grimy). I also still need to buff out some scratches somehow...
Plugged in my camcorder to test it, but I will play some games on it soooon (maybe some Touhou games :P). It's got a scart input, so I'll see if I can use a converter to plug in S-Video from my WinXP computer's graphics card or maybe some other input.
crt televisions are the beautiful result of decades of proper domestication of the cathode ray tube. smart televisions were created by years of rapid unethical breeding practices for the sake of aesthetic and efficiency at the expense of quality and length of life for the species
So I've picked up a 1976 Sears TV and I'm gonna clean it up and wire it up to several RF modulators so I can make my own TV channels.
I think I'm gonna have a channel that's running the old TV Guide software, and a MST3K channel, maybe a Have I Got News For You channel.
I definitely need a Star Trek (all of them) channel.
What else would you do channels for? Maybe some classic cartoons... My roommate suggested putting on some videos of commercials from the 90s.
Nothing feels better than repairing your beloved and screwing them back together securely :)
