As much as he missed the other servamp greatly he was thankful it had just been the elder Alicein to come to his rescue, he hadn’t really wanted to see what would happen had it not been. Misono would be unhappy as it was that he hadn’t been back as soon as he had promised he would have been.
“I greatly appreciate that, i really do. If you hadn’t come along i’ve no idea how long i would have been stuck, more so if i had been taken to far away from Misono. Please do let me know if there is a way i can thank you for your help.” He had always been, very careful to keep within the distance they could move freely from each other, not wanting to cause his eve any pain like that. The help still had him by surprise but just maybe it reminded him of when Mikuni has been younger, both the brothers had been such sweet children.
“He very much would and i would never hear the end of it, nor would i have enjoyed worrying him like that. I must be more careful from now on and pay attention to those around me, or possibly stay out of the veiw as much as possible.”
Even saying that, he remembered the last time the same thing happened and knew it would most likely happen again, there weren't any other butterfly like him so it was to be expected people would do this again. Noticing a shady place he’d be able to stay within, he flew to it, before changing from a butterfly. With any luck he’d be able to stick to the shadows as much as possible on his way back to avoid being caught again.
Despite his surprising amount of self-control – the words the other spoke had him frowning a little. The truth was simple: If Misono and Lily had been separated too far, too long? It would have been painful. And that was an unpleasant, frustrating, thought.
“You’re just too gosh dang pretty, Lily.” He muses aloud, in a sigh. Offering a quicksilver smile towards the SERVAMP of LUST – and a playful wink. A quick cover-up to his genuine concern for his brother. Misono was someone who he worried about frequently, despite his EXILE from the ( Alicein Househould ). “What ever are we gonna do if one of these times they refuse to give ya back? We’d have to initiate a full scale recovery mission! Wouldn’t that be funny?” The thought of having to break into someone, anyone’s house, to rescue a captured butterfly? Was hilarious. “I think if someone saw Jeje in their house, they’d just straight up die. He’s so tall! It would be intimidating, for sure~”
He was being PLAYFUL – whimsical, as he always was. Though, Mikuni does raise an eyebrow at the others comment about paying him back. “Ah, nah, forget about that. I owe you a lifetime of favors, watchin’ after little Misono for me. You never need to worry about something like that.” This time, the blond laughs – the sounds is mirthful. It was true, he was ever grateful for the others presence. The face that Lily was with Misono always reassured him and made him happy. He could always trust that the other had his little brothers well being in mind…
“… bein’ careful is for the best, that’s for sure.” He whistles then, laughing a little. He couldn’t blame people for being interested in the BUTTERFLY, Snow Lily was a pretty one… At least it made more sense when people were interested in him. ( he still didn’t understand why people thought s n a k e s where cute nowadays… ) “But, if you’d like? I can walk ya back. I know I’m not allowed on the estate anymore, but that doesn’t mean I can’t escort ya.” He offers, looking at the taller blond.

When the other made her comment, he just stares for a second – it was a strangely comforting thing for her to say. It was N I C E to know that his partner wasn’t the type to just abandon him, and yet? Her words had him a little… embarrassed.
“… I was trying to make a joke?” He offers out, somewhat meekly as he looks at her through his bangs.
He wasn’t good at those. Being as asocial as he was, he tended to just… hide. Observe. It was easier that way. Especially given his quirky habits and hobbies. “I should… work on my joking tone, hmm?” He continues, though… he really was flattered. It was nice to know that he had such a protective and kind friend. He wasn’t sure where he had gone R I G H T in life to meet someone like her, but? Regardless, Hijirihara felt very lucky…

This wasn’t supposed to be like this! How had things fallen apart so quickly? Lunafreya had expected this situation to be a little chaotic after all awakening the Hydraean could very well be the last thing she did. She was known for being temperamental and Lunafreya had been prepared for that. So it was no surprise that she was soaked to the bone her dress tattered as she attempted to gain control of the situation. She couldn’t break now Noctis was counting on her.
What she hadn’t expected was Ardyn to jump into the situation. She knew he would probably come for her eventually if she still carried the ring. She just hadn’t expected it to be so soon with her only just having formed a covenant with Leviathan.
When she had refused to give him the ring she had expected her death. Ardyn was dangerous after all and she knew it. He gave off that vibe. However, he did something completely unexpected. He had simply shrugged and hoisted her up and took her away. No, this wasn’t what she had wanted. She was finally going to get to see Noctis again and now … where was he even going to take her?
"Put me down, I can walk by myself.“
Although, Lunafreya doubted he would listen he probably expected her to run the second she could and he wasn’t exactly wrong. However, she wasn’t going to just pick a direction and take off. That would be absolutely foolish on her part.
“Do you truly believe that is often how ‘hostage’ situations work, my lady Oracle?”
The mocking words left the man’s mouth with an obvious smile. It was a funny thought – that she was asking to be put down, when he’d clearly snatched her up for a reason. The idea of KILLING her had been a realistic one. It would have been easy to snatch up the R I N G from her corpse, or he could have propelled things into motion by acting out in front of the . . . still immature prince.
It would have worked out alright that way. He wasn’t sure what had caused him to change his plan of action. Or why he’d thought this would work out for the better.
“If I put you down right now, you’d attempt to leave – and that wouldn’t get… pretty. I would likely have to break your legs to keep you from running, no? So would you rather be carried? Or dragged?” The words, the question, sounded a m u s e d. What would she say from her position? Hoisted upon his shoulder like a sack of potatoes? “I can at least give you that option, I suppose.” He adds, with a hum…
Today was turning into a rather ( INTERESTING ) day, to say the least.

When he saw his brother struggle to meet his gaze – he could feel an overwhelming amount of s e l f shame wash over him. There was nothing wrong with how Tetsu and Old Child had done. They’d only been put in danger because of Mahiru and himself - because his E V E insisted on being a good person. Because - - - ! Well...They’d have been better off remaining as they had been, without becoming ALLIES of their jumbled mess of a team.
Now his brother was INJURED. No. no. Not injured, crippled. Fighting Tsubaki hadn’t only left Hugh in a tight spot, but also Hyde/Lawless. . . If anyone should be apologizing, it was K U R O.
He had been the one who had been l a t e. And though that wasn’t uncommon for the SERVAMP of SLOTH, it seems his retreat from responsibilities. . . had h u r t his family. And he felt immense shame for having been so late to action that his brothers were both suffering now. ‘… they’re not the first to have suffered for trusting me…’ G U I L T. Guilt soaked his thoughts, his everything, as he moved carefully to casually scratch at the back of his head. “… it’s alright.” Kuro - Sleepy Ash - mutters aloud, finally. His crimson eyes dodging the others… “You were fine. I was just… late.”
As the eldest s e r v a m p, he was the one that people looked to for answers. And yet, here he was. He didn’t know what he could do to tell P R I D E that they weren’t responsible. ( . . . this was part of the very reason he h a t e d doing anything. FEELING responsible for anything. Making choices. ) “… please… don’t apologize. Just focus on feeling better.”

“Scared? Truly? Of little ol’ me?” Anastasia asks – attempting to keep a straight face, while a smile tickled at her lips. She couldn’t HIDE things from her younger companion anymore. At least, not little things. The fact that she’d purposely snuck up on the younger Brave was as much of a give away as any. . .
However, since the other seemed to melt into her hug anyways? Despite her complaints? Anastasia would simply have to assume that she hadn’t truly done anything wrong. Leading to her sticking out her tongue, somewhat childishly, at the others “ t h r e a t. “
“You wouldn’t do that to me.” Anastasia is quick to say, chuckling a little at the others response – seeing the smaller BRAVE also stick out her tongue slightly. Today they were both acting VERY MATURE, clearly. Though, when ISANAMI gives her a chaste kiss on the nose – Anastasia blinks. Her sapphire eyes widening, for once, earnestly – surprise dancing in them.
Little things Isanami did had a way of throwing her entirely off her game. ( But – I suppose that was a little of what l o v e was, wasn’t it? )
This loss would only last a fraction of a second. Composure quickly returned with a chuckle and the comment, “Yes, dear. Yes you do.” And with that, the older B R A V E entirely releases Isanami from her hug. Instead, offering out her hand. The non-vocal cue for the other to come with her. “But only this time. I have a reputation to keep.”

Though it was much more in his nature to just let things unfold as they would – he couldn’t just sit on his hands and do nothing when he’d seen the familiar butterfly fluttering about. Snow Lily was a dear friend of the family, and if Jeje had been around . . . Well, as the two had always worked side-by-side in protecting the Alicein family? He could only imagine that things would have escalated from there. Luckily, Mikuni was on his own today. And he’d been able to get the child to relinquish his claim on the butterfly in his possession.
“Ah, ya never need to worry ‘bout me just leaving you trapped. Should I be in the area, I’m more then happy to help.” And, despite frequently just allowing the dominos to fall as they would – he was often around. So? With this comment, he’s more then happy to tilt his hat towards the other. A little gentlemanly gesture.
And as Lily had been one of his family’s… “GUARDIANS,” so to say, he certainly wasn’t about to watch one of them be accidentally abducted. Despite his tendency to play devil’s advocate. “Lucky timing, though. Misono would have had a heart attack if some kid decided they were gonna keep ya again.” The funniest part was that he could – truthfully – say a g a i n. Lily, All-of-Love, was certainly a beautiful butterfly.
