If we’re being honest, most of us study our favourite character less like an entomologist studies a bug and more like an astronomer studies a distant star: drawing complicated inferences from extremely limited data, then getting tetchy about it when somebody else draws incompatible but equally well-supported inferences from the same data because it’s the fucking principle of the thing.
y'all, the fact that my most liked posts went from a redraw of the couch meme with the TF141 and Ally (20 likes atm), to a c!dream art that feels like that one meme of fanart vs canon (52 likes atm), to a shitpost I made about the dteam cats Patches, Milo and Naomi (62 LIKES ATM???) feels rlly fever dreamy ngl
MASSIVE Return to Dreamland Deluxe/Magolor Epilogue spoilers below the cut! You have been warned!!!
So, I went into the Magolor Epilogue blind (aside from what I saw in the official trailers, of course) and I'm SO glad I did. That final boss absolutely fucking blindsided me, and I've been itching to talk about some themes and symbolism that I think were intentional.
So, many are already aware of Magolor having yellow in his color scheme as a reference to Judas and his betrayal (this also, funnily enough, kind of implies that Kirby is a Christ figure in his universe which... yeah, that tracks).
But I don't think the religious aspect stops there. Everyone was making jokes about Magolor going to superhell, and... that's kind of accurate, in a sense- though it's probably closest in comparison to the popular concept of Purgatory: a place where the imperfect go to be purified of sin (though, actual Christian doctrine treats Purgatory more like a process than a place, but we'll ignore that).
Magolor Epilogue is essentially the "purification" of Magolor's soul trough a trial by fire- as evidenced by the fact that the worlds he must traverse loosely mirror those Kirby traveled previously. Before he can truly find salvation, he must understand exactly what he put Kirby (and the others) through by experiencing it himself firsthand.
But the most important thing I wanted to talk about is the final boss and the moments leading up to it. Throughout his journey, Magolor collects pieces of a gem apple seed that grants him the absurdly powerful abilities that he'd lost before. Apples are pretty commonly used to symbolize the "forbidden fruit" in the Garden of Eden- which grants one knowledge of good and evil (though, classically, this essentially implies knowledge of everything, and thus ultimate power).
Here, however, the fruit seems to symbolize purification rather than corruption, and his final task is to destroy the very thing that tainted his soul in the first place: the Master Crown. His final battle is a bookend, of sorts. In the main story mode, the first boss you fight is, of course, Whispy Woods- an apple tree. In Magolor Epilogue, however, an apple tree is the very last boss you encounter, which may be representative of returning to a state of innocence.
Anyway, I still have more thoughts on the epilogue, but I can't really articulate them well so this is where my rambling ends. Make of it what you will.

I’m gonna be honest: I feel like superhero movies and TV shows should be animated.
There’s just something about live action that makes them, ironically enough, less ‘alive’ feeling. Movement usually feels somewhat stilted in live action to me, even in the better action sequences. Not to mention that you can just do more with animation than you ever could with live action.
(Not mentioning as well that if an actor stops working for a project, it’s far easier to get a replacement voice actor than it is to get a normal actor to replace a live action role.)
Someone I randomly stumbled across on another site: *Makes an anti-loki show post* Me, reading along and nodding with every point so far: :) The post, suddenly: “- Even the TVA sounds like it came from someone’s bad fanfiction. Where did this idea even come from? It doesn’t belong in Marvel!” Me, knowing it was originally created in the mid to late 1980′s and wasn’t made up by the Loki show:
Watched Heartstopper ! And my take is : maybe, love IS real ? ... I don't know

taylor attended a hannah montana afterparty with emily osment, miley cyrus, and demi lovato
miley later said: “if you guys didn’t know i was bisexual from this damn picture, i don’t know what’s wrong with you. uh, i mean, hello! look at them!”
The Anniversary Thing I Forgot to Post-
Identity.
i have no real content right now but uh
idk im just thinking abt how if "complete" vergil is already accident prone bc of natural reasons; then v is basically not potty trained 🤪
I kinda love the fact that really some of the only content of Moon Knight that a lot of non-comics readers have seen of him is the "random bullshit go" meme and similar ones, but,,, he really does kind of act like that
Someone should rewrite The Cursed Child with Dudley having a magical child and the adopted children of Finnigan-Thomas as students in Hogwarts-!! Please 😔🙏
AND ALSO, MAKE SCORBUS CANON. PLEASE.
Day 251. Might as well share this plate I made
Oooh, my turn to ask!~ >:3
How about Willow, 7, 14 and 16? If not too much X'''D
Thanks for the ask!! ^^
7. She would most likely search for songs played by the flute so she could practice herself and for more songs to play. She would look up for the sound of rain. And also maybe songs that have rain sounds in the background. She likes the sound of rain. =v=
14. Story time: When Willow was younger she wanted to catch a crow or raven to look at it more closely. She putted the seeds under the crate held by the stick and waited. It worked and the crate caught a pied crow . She studied it and letted it go. She wanted to see how it looked like because she wanted to draw it (she drew the picture). She found the same crow the next day and asked it if it liked the drawing. It liked the sight of itself on the paper. Still from this day it would sit on Willow's shoulder and watch her draw. The crow was the only company she didn't mind that watched her draw, because she is still too shy to show her drawings to anyone, but she was glad to have him. ((hope you liked my somewhat awful writing))
16. Speechless - by Naomi Scott
I thought this song would fit her. Because some other monsters thinks she's a weird monster because of her being the daughter of the Grim reaper she doesn't do reaper stuff like her other siblings. She wants to bring life like Life!Toriel (Reapertale Toriel), not bring death for it makes her very emotional. Also with her being so shy, she gets called out by the bullies. But with her family and friends, she starts getting better at opening to people and learns how to stand up for herself and others. She is still shy though, but not like the past.
(Hope you like the answers!!)
tag the oc that’s kind of sketchy
whenever i’m on here later (i’m online now but i’m gonna be on steve first for awhile), i’m gonna rework maya’s famous au verse a little. i know i don’t have any threads in it or anything but - i’ve been looking it over & i need to redo … most of it. tbh. that verse was written literal years ago & i just never bothered to update the description & like - the description it has was literally made & written for a plot
plus her music career was originally more influenced by sabrina carpenter since that was her fc at the time but - that’s been changed as well. so yeah, imma update that later!
