Chapter 13 - Poison in my Blood
There are three things Y/n knows for certain:
1.) Danielle is her best friend
2.) Her favorite color is pink
3.) And the seven guys showing up in her dreams are hot as hell
When y/n starts college at her dream university, Decelis Academy, her dreams start to fade into reality. Things that are hidden come to light and she starts wishing some would have stayed in the shadows.

Okay so maybe Danielle could admit that her anger could get a little bit out of control when it neared that time of the month. And maybe she could also admit that she tended to make her stupidest, most irrational decisions around this time as well. Cause here she was, trying to track down the scent of her best friends creepy classmate.
Danielle could feel tension rolling off of Y/n since the day she met him. This was very peculiar for her best friend. Y/n was almost never that apprehensive of a person, I mean look at how quickly she warmed up to Jungwon. So seeing her reaction towards this Beomgyu guy was more than startling, especially after hearing him make her uncomfortable.
His scent was a lot more difficult to track if Danielle was being honest. Something about his natural aroma rubbed Danni the wrong way. He almost smelled artificial as if his body wasn’t even real, as if he weren’t even alive. It took awhile for Danielle to get even the slightest aroma and it led her to the library. He sat there talking to a girl that Danielle identified as Karina.
Karina was a very sweet girl so seeing her together with Beomgyu made Danielle’s skin crawl. Beomgyu stood up, waving goodbye to the girl before making his way towards the libraries exit…right where Danielle was. Danielle panicked, throwing herself into the bushes to disguise herself. Danielle peers out of the bushes just as Beomgyu walks out. The smile that he had on his face while talking to Karina, vanished in an instant. His face became blank, as if all his personality had been zapped from his body. Danielle let out a breath.
Beomgyu’s eyes shot to the bush that Danielle resided in. Danielle felt like she couldn’t breathe. The mere presence that Beomgyu exuded was suffocating. Beomgyu inches closer and closer to the bush, before suddenly stopping.
“Beomgyu you forgot this in the library!” Karina said blurting threw the door and handing Beomgyu his flannel.
“Thanks Karina, see you later!” Beomgyu says before turning his attention back to the bush. The spot he swears had once been filled with a girl is empty. He shrugged his shoulders with a distasteful sigh and leaves. Danielle tries to catch her breath behind the corner of the library.
“That was a close one.” Danielle sighs, brushing the dirt off her jeans and beginning to follow the boy once again.
Danielles nose brought her to Beomgyus next location: A Flower Shop. Danielle this time watched from a safer distance as to not almost get caught again. However, this meant whatever he did, Danielle couldn’t really see that well. For being a supernatural being, her eyesight still sucked ass.
Beomgyu walked out of the flower shop carrying purple flowers. Danielle tried to see if she could smell them from her hiding spot, but too many people were around leading to too many conflicting scents.
The next place that Beomgyu stopped was a jewelry store? Danielle couldn’t figure out what the hell Beomgyu was doing. She watched closely as Beomgyu walked in, she glanced at her phone 7:00pm, then trained her eyes on the door. What seemed like forever passed and Beomgyu still hadn’t left the store. Danielle glanced at her phone again, 8:00. A whole hour had passed there was no way that he was still in there. Danielle tried to focus on his scent but realized that her trace had gone cold.
Danielle moved from her hiding space, walking across the street to the jewelry store. Beomgyu was nowhere to be found. Danielle made her way to the alleyway to see if she could trace Beomgyu’s scent from there. Just as she got one, she felt icy hands grab her throat. Danielle was thrown to the wall of the alley, the feeling of the bricks scraping into her skin almost made her scream. Her eyes focused in on the person holding her and she sneered. Beomgyu peered down at the girl with a smug smirk.
“I knew I smelled dog. You’ve been tailing me all day haven’t you kid?” Beomgyu asked with a patronizing tone, applying a little more pressure onto Danielle’s neck. Danielle could feel herself getting angrier and angrier. Her eyes glowed a brilliant gold as she glared at him.
“Ah ah ah not so fast,” Beomgyu taunted, reaching his free hand into his pocket. Danielle watched with terrified eyes as Beomgyu pulled a silver bracelet out of his pocket. “Can’t have you wolfing out on me now can I?” Beomgyu said, clamping the bracelet on Danielle’s wrist. Danielle could feel the metal sear into her skin. If it wasn’t for the fact that Beomgyu was still actively strangling her, she would have screamed. She could feel blood starting to pool around her wrist where the bracelet began to bury into.
The pain was beginning to get too much, coupled with Danielle’s lack of air supply. Her vision began to blur. The last thing she saw before completely blacking out was a genuine smile, no a sinister smile grace Beomgyu’s features.
‘Fuck you’ Danielle whispered with the last of her strength, causing a chuckle to escape the man as her body grew limp.
“Now that that’s over with… you have something I need.” Beomgyu said with a smile before teleporting with Danielle in tow. All that was left behind of the encounter was crimson staining the bricks where Danielle was held and a whisper of evil.
A/N: lowkey hate that i made Beomgyu the villain but plot is plot.
Anyways very much super sorry for such a delayed update. Finals week kicked my ass severely and I have been enjoying my winter break a little too much to do anything. But hopefully this suffices, things are starting to take a little bit of a darker turn now
