I’m A Day Late About Posting These, But Recently I’ve Received A Very Generous Gift In The Mail From

I’m a day late about posting these, but recently I’ve received a very generous gift in the mail from @vavandeveresfan of some Beetlejuice merch she was kindly to give(Minus the skull that’s mine)) and I couldn’t ask for anything better for this Halloween. As for a few years now, I feel like I lost that Halloween spark, that special feeling when I had growing up for it and I can’t express how much this made me excited for the spooky season again.(Even though these are the last few days of it)) Nevertheless, I’m very happy and to receive a gift like this, especially from my favorite online author. Besides from her Beetlejuice collection, you can check out her other amazing works because I highly recommend them:

I really love these vintage stickers, magnets and playing cards. They came along with six vintage Valentine Day cards but I was hesitate on removing them from their neat clean envelopes so I didn’t take them out for pictures. There were also painted backgrounds stills from the animated series “Beetlejuice” as well but I don’t plan on taking them out until I get them properly framed.

It’s a small collection so far but it’ll become a museum one day.

I saw a post you made that you said people call you transphobic, homophobic, racist, etc. Why? Is there an actual reason or? I can't really find any posts that make you seem like that.

Yes there is an actually a reason and that was because I would have private conversation with a few people from the Beetlejuice fandom(A lot of them very sweet people but a lot of them can be very nasty)) We had some disagreements about whether or not Beetlejuice is and should be transsexual, How the original movie should just be completely dismissed and be in favor of the musical instead and with how much I am in the wrong for just having an opinion. But I respect people’s opinion no matter how much they are in the right or wrong.

Wait, do you ship Beetlejuice and Lydia?? Cause you made a Valentine's post about them. Lydia is a minor and Beetlejuice is sooooooo old.

Cool my first Asked and yes I do. I find their pairing cute and chaotic also they are fictional characters. As long no REAL danger ACTUALLY occurs to anyone then I see no real problem with it, I’m not completely a monster. Also, I respect that you find them cute or cool as being just friends, I do too fam.

The Beetlejuice Fandom.

As with any fandom community, being a part of the Beetlejuice fandom can be a wonderful experience. For many fans, like myself, it's a way to connect with others who share their love for the quirky characters, unique humor, and funny catchy songs of the cult classic movie. The Beetlejuice fandom is no exception, with fans of the iconic 1988 film and the more recent Broadway musical(That’s gone now)) coming together to celebrate their love for the quirky and supernatural world of Beetlejuice. However, as with any community, there are also flaws to be found.

The flaws and issues that arise, particularly when it comes to the behavior of younger generations who are new to the fandom. In the case of Beetlejuice, some fans who were introduced to the world through the recent musical adaptation may have a different perspective and approach to the fandom than those who have been fans of the original film for many years.

One issue that has been noted by some long-time fans is the fetishization of the character of Beetlejuice by younger fans. This can involve sexualizing the character and viewing him as a Trans Man for example. Some people would actually claim that’s he can’t be a desirable figure if he’s not one, rather than as the chaotic and mischievous spirit he is meant to be portrayed as. This fetishization can be concerning and uncomfortable for some fans, particularly those who have a deeper appreciation for the character and the world of Beetlejuice beyond just surface-level attraction.

Another issue that can arise in any fandom community is gatekeeping, or the idea that certain fans may try to exclude or invalidate others based on their level of knowledge or experience within the fandom. This can lead to a toxic environment where new fans feel unwelcome or discouraged from participating, which is not conducive to building a positive and inclusive community.

Despite these challenges, there are still many reasons to love being a part of the Beetlejuice fandom. The shared enthusiasm for the unique and imaginative world created by Tim Burton, as well as the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals from all over the world, make the community a vibrant and exciting place to be.

Ultimately, it is important to remember that any fandom community is made up of individuals with their own perspectives and experiences. While it is important to acknowledge and address problematic behavior, it is also important to focus on building a welcoming and inclusive community where all fans can feel valued and appreciated. By working together and respecting each other's opinions and perspectives, the Beetlejuice fandom can continue to thrive for years to come.

But, of course, that’s easier said than done.

Um, so, I’ve spent like a week or two talking to a few people of the Beetlejuice fandom and discussed some issues and topics about it. For those who took their time out of their day to chat with me Thank very you much. You guys are nice. :) I just hope this Blog Rant I’m working on doesn’t make you wanna spear me.

But for those who called me just a plethora of things like being Transphobic, Homophobic, Racist and a Bigot. I’ve been called a Pedophile too.
