I tried very hard to make the comics colorful and atmospheric...Japanese mythology is always sooooo inspiring 🍵
Btw a few facts about Kyorinrin itself:
He's such a tease, constantly uses mind-blowing female body and wears colorful clothes in order to make humans desperate
Nothing unusual...just Aventurine in a Ratio's teapot

Ft. Aventurine, written with male reader in mind but no mention of he/him, so can be read as gender neutral. wc: 1039
Content: teen! reader, reader works with the IPC, platonic relationship w/ aven, inspired by hnk; when phos lost his legs / after losing your legs in an accident and having to replace them with doll-like ones, you feel useless. Fortunately, Aventurine is here to remind you that your thoughts don't describe you. slight angst.
A/n: i was having big brother Aventurine brain rot, dont ask me how the legs work, even i dont know. Aventurine may be ooc
The atmosphere was peaceful in the vast garden that you were situated in, sitting on a stool that Aventurine helped you on. He said that you needed to get some fresh air, since after the attachment of the legs you couldn't move them just yet. That... made you feel like a burden, he had been helping you get everywhere these past few days.
Aventurine said he didn't mind, yet your thoughts were swirling in your head, you couldn't bring yourself to not feel like this. Your vision blurred with tears as you blankly stared down at your new legs, the material ran up to your mid-thigh then stopping and pressing against what was left of your flesh and bone.
Your knee joint was ultimately replaced with a ball joint that resembles one of a ball jointed puppet. Maybe it was the IPC's way of saying "you're just a puppet and we control the strings" — how despicable.
You furrow your brows in distaste and put a hand against the section that meets synthetic with flesh. "These things look kinda weird, huh?" you muttered, tilting your head to get a better perspective of the material that was now a part of you.
You sat there for a bit, but got fed up with being so still. You wanted to walk and run and jump! In a spontaneous motion you grabbed your knee and shook it desperately, "just move already!" you grunted tilting back a bit.
The stool tilted back as well, and with a thump you landed on your back on top of the green grass. a wince left your mouth as you tried to regain your breath.
breathe in...
and out.
You sighed in defeat while turning on your side, watching the blades of grass sway with the wind in a mesmerizing dance. “I’m completely useless…” you muttered in sorrow, tears welling up at the corner of your eyes. Footsteps broke you out of your trance and a familiar shadow covered your figure that was laying down, you looked up at the comforting face of the man that you considered a brother.
“I left for only 5 minutes” he chuckled and picked up the stool that had fallen down “how exactly did you end up on the ground?” Aventurine smiled cheekily as he crouched down to pick you up in a princess carry. He looked down at you in his arms and he noticed your teary eyes, his expression turned into a concerned one quite quickly.
Aventurine gently sat you down on the stool once more and crouched down on one knee in front of you as he stared into your eyes. “What’s wrong, kiddo?” he softly spoke as he reached up towards your face and flicked away a tear with his thumb, one that was threatening to spill over.
You stared at him with a conflicted expression, you didn’t know how to tell him. As much as you wanted to let out the horrible thoughts in your head you felt as if you would be bothering him with your problems. More tears filled your eyes along with some flowing down your cheeks, you pressed the palms of your hands to your eyes in an attempt to stop your sobbing.
“Oh, (name)...” Aventurine whispered, he stroked your head while softly moving your arm away from your face. “Can you tell me what’s going on?” He asked as he held your hand, encouraging you to spill your thoughts to him. You sniffled, lightly rubbing underneath your nose, “i..” you paused. Your eyes trailed down to your legs that now donned those puppet like joints, your lips slightly quivered as you opened your mouth, hesitantly speaking. “Am I- do I bother you?”
Your hopeful eyes met his understanding ones, Aventurine’s eyes softened as he processed your words. “Of course not” he smiled reassuringly “you could never be of bother to me” his hold on your hand tightened a little. Once more you looked at your lap, your hair covering a significant part of your face, “i can't move my legs, i cant move around by myself…” you trailed off and pausing for a second then raising your head to meet his eyes yet again. “I feel like a burden to you and also useless at the same time, it’s… so frustrating.” you grimaced, slightly cringing at the words that tumbled out of your mouth. You never thought that you would spill everything like that.
Aventurine was shell shocked, although he had his suspicions of you feeling under the weather because of your loss of your legs, he wouldn't have predicted that it would impact you this much. Everytime he would come into your room to give you your dinner or to check on you there would be something off, such as your puffy eyes, tear stains on your pillow etc.
Of course, how couldn't he have noticed it sooner? Aventurine reached up and cupped your cheeks in his hands, you could feel the warmth of his hands radiating from his palms. “You're not a burden, (name)” He answered, “I would take care of you for as long as it takes,” he said, his eyes determined. “Because I care for you, you have brought happiness to my world when I needed it most.”
“So, don’t cry anymore, kiddo”
Your breath hitched, teary eyes wide and filled with much needed relief. Suddenly you tackled him in a hug, your hands wrapped around him tightly as if he would suddenly disappear and you burried your head in the crook of his neck. Aventurine quickly caught you in his embrace, he chuckled and leaned his head on yours as he rubbed you back in comfort.
In an instant your stomach grumbled, indicating that it was hungry. Your face heated up at the moment being ruined by your hunger. “wow, someones hungry” Aventurine teased as he leaned away from the hug, he snickered at your flushed face. “Hey! Don't make fun of me!” you exclaimed while lightly punching his arm, “haha, okay okay.” He smiled as he picked you up, “why dont we get you something to eat?”
“Can we have (f/f)?”
“Hmm.. i don’t know..”
“Aven!
“Alright, i'll stop. of course We can your majesty”

horny thoughts about aventurine
thinking about him and his expensive perfume
i bet its some sweet fragrance that makes me want to fucking ravish him
like he smells so good and its almost like an aphrodisiac with how badly it makes me want to bite him and bury my face in the crook of his neck as i fuck him dumb
and he fucking knows the effect it has on me and purposely drowns himself in his perfume and rubs his scent onto my clothes so when im alone i can still smell him and all i can think about is him
aventurine makes me feral
tw image of death
I’m seriously wondering if it makes sense to create more content for this concept. There are a couple of nuances I’d like to highlight(what awaited him on the ocean floor, how he became the kraken, and how Aventurine reacted upon witnessing the execution of Dr Ratio), but I’m more curious—what questions would you like to see answered about my storyline?
pt.1 pt.2
Ratio – the terror of pirates made flesh. Something drives him to sink overloaded ships.
Aventurine – henceforth a legendary pirate. A ghost pirate, killed by a terrible catastrophe, slain by the kraken. Slain by Ratio.
However, this was his plan all along: to gain enough power beyond the threshold of death to capture this kraken.
pt.1
Still undecided on what role to give Ratio—an esteemed doctor taken hostage, the captain, or a kraken/octopus-mermaid? Each of these would lead to a different storyline and dynamic, but I can’t decide which one to invest my time and energy in.
He’s whispering to the girl sitting on his lap, purring in her ear, and she laughs.
In front of them, on their knees, are the subordinates who have failed. He asks her:
— How should those who disobeyed the order be punished?
Feeling the power in her hands from a man like him, she replies playfully:
— Kill them!
He smirks, the men sweat and tremble. Amethyst purrs in her ear, asking if she will obey his orders. She smiles with glossy lips and nods. She touches his cheek with lipstick to reach ear, caressing the taut fabric across his crotch with her sharp-nailed fingers and whispers:
— Every single one.
Taking her firmly under the thigh, he kisses her neck, under her jaw. He slips his hand behind back and pulls out a gun. A vintage revolver. He thrusts it straight into her adorable doll hands.
Amethyst breathes into her cheek, speaking and kissing her skin with his words:
— Then kill them.
He hugs her tightly by the thigh, causing her to bend under his fingers like one of the famous statues. He looks at her as if a prayer is written on her cheek.
— That’s an order.
Boss Form of Ratio
Kakawasha understandably considers him a peacock, just like many of you probably do. But in truth, he’s much closer to owls, as he is in the canon.
His stone transforms his body far more dramatically than Aventurine’s did. Amethyst stretches into a humanoid bird form (slightly smaller than the Sunday!boss), like something from ancient mythical epics. He wears lavish feathered sleeves, a cloak of golden wings, and shoulder armor reminiscent of an owl’s plumage. Around his neck, feathers form a majestic collar, framing his head-marble-bust. His body is gray-blue, like marble, or like skin in the rigor mortis stage. Then there is the clothing meant to cover that which couldn’t be shown in the game...
Clawed hands. Elongated legs with twisted feet.
my pride
His abilities during the boss fight:
Talons of Fate – Sweeping, eager strikes with his clawed hands. Deals blood loss damage.
Vertigo of Knowledge – Causes dizziness for the team, making them forget how to use their basic attack, enhanced abilities, or ultimates. Alternatively, they may simply skip a turn.
The Tower of Aether – A group attack where he collapses a towering structure onto his enemies.
Skyward Stalemate – He can "place" a tower on a single character, as though putting them in checkmate on a chessboard.
His special attack:
He unnaturally curves his body. Just as owls flare their feathers when threatened, he spreads all his bird-like elements into a threatening pose. The countdown begins until his head twists 180 degrees downward.
He then declares:
"Ignorance......it is darkness."
And the battlefield is plunged into impenetrable darkness. There’s a 30% chance that an attack will hit Amethyst with +20% attack power; all other attacks miss (either hitting an ally or striking nothing).
Amethyst then surges from the darkness with his burning, fiery eyes and an unnerving smile, swinging his claws wildly.
first meeting
Thud. Crack. Clack-clack-clack.
The ball rolls off the cue's strike so smoothly it might as well be pulled by a string. It crashes into the neatly arranged formation of other balls, scattering them in every direction. Amethyst enjoys setting up challenges for himself in the game — driving balls into nearly impossible positions, forcing himself to strategize and strain for the next shot.
But this time, the balls don’t stop rolling. One by one, all fifteen scatter perfectly into the pockets, leaving the cue ball, the first ball — untouched in the center of the table.
At that very moment, a knock sounds at the door. Faceless men in plaster bust masks step aside to admit two figures: a similarly faceless servant and another man.

In this au, Dr. Ratio is now known by the stone pseudonym Amethyst. He joined the Interastral Peace Corporation relatively recently, driven there by the most harrowing disappointment—in himself and in the world he once swore to protect. But spare yourself any drama: Ratio has transformed into a truly calculating, selfish monster with no intention of reform or redemption.
Once a scholar with eight doctoral degrees, he came to a grim realization: his actions brought no light to the world. Humanity remained ignorant and base, as if the old society had simply been given new settings to play in. Rejected by both people and the Aeons, he abandoned his life's work. It was during this downward spiral that Diamond found him.
From that moment on, no one dared to call him Dr. Veritas Ratio again. His name became Amethyst, and may the Aeons help anyone who dares to make that mistake. For his goals, he will do anything—and then some.
"Can I do the right thing For the wrong reason?" – Hellfire by The Fever 333 (the entire song fits him perfectly in this AU).
Like every Interastral Peace Corporation member, he helps those who come to them after successful deals and punishes those who fail to fulfill their end of the bargain. His "monstrosity" in this universe lies in his ruthless sense of justice—one that people despise because, naturally, people hate paying their debts.
And yet, there are families who deeply value and respect him—not as Dr. Ratio, but as Amethyst. He often calls them to check in, like some kind-of-wealthy-uncle keeping tabs on his extended family.
still thinking about the final look of it.

Kakawasha is a Synogian slave who became a scholar in the Guild of Erudites after a successful deal with Yashma. You could say his past remained largely unchanged, except for one key difference: he chose to study his own luck "under a microscope" and proposed the idea that luck is not merely a series of fortunate coincidences but something far more substantial.
Dr. Kakawasha hasn't achieved the same level of success as Ratio in the canon, but he is still respected within certain niche circles. His focus lies in abstract sciences, which, due to their specific nature, are in little demand. Nevertheless, Yashma believes that this "child" of hers will one day bring her personal good fortune. As such, she is fiercely protective of him, just as she is with all her "children."
