Jesus I wrote a lot-
I've been going on and off on making an interactive game where you, the reader, can date, form bonds and talk with the characters all while going through a large-spanning story. Basically fanfic where it's personalized. (You get to choose dialogue options, romantic partner(s), limited backgrounds, gender, personalize your name, etc.) But the problem is I originally made it for an entirely different character.
In other terms, I need anyone who is interested, to vote how I continue this project!
I don't want to spoil too much, but basically the reader is a genetically modified human (I know we all want to be Na'vi but let me cook PLEASASEE) who's a senator/diplomat to another faction called The United Colonies of Sol. They are not allied with the RDA at all, in fact they've come to Pandora to support Jake Sully.
The problem is how I start the story. Originally, it was to be a relative love story between the characters So'lek, Eetu, Teylan, Nor, the Sarentu... And more... (So many characters guys ahhh), but mainly So'lek.
The journey would go something like this: ship crashes, So'lek brings reader to the resistance once he finds out they need to contact Jake Sully. He decides to act as a courier and help deliver them. An Odessy kinda happens where they traverse different areas all while (maybe) falling in love. I thought the dynamic would be cute seeing as reader would be polarizing in comparison to the humans he's met so far (might go further into detail if the other vote wins or if people are curious).
But I found that it might be restrictive to those who've never played AFOP and overall limit the audience. Although the idea works best in that space, I've written 40,000 words in total of the current 'demo' which goes something like this:
Reader crashes (again) but where the Metikaya (I know I'm spelling that wrong, I'm on my phone guys please đ) are located, sadly causing mass destruction. During recovery they meet Tsireya and the other main cast. Having met Jake Sully and possibly gaining his trust, now they need to try finding a way to find their main crew all while the RDA grows in power/influence, and the events of Avatar: Fire and Ash happens. (I know by the time the film releases I'm prob gonna be near that point).
So as you guys can probably see, they're pretty different in characters and motives. Long run, they'll be completely different stories.
On one hand, with AFOP I have the story more formulated to fit the narrative, with the dynamic of the characters and their seperate wants considered for the story. Even the resistance connection to the reader would make better sense. But again, limited and alienating, and the main cast wouldn't be seen for a LONNNGG time... Like, holy shit.
On the other, ATWOW the inclusion of reader will feel less natural and more hand fisted, and how the story goes genuinly relies on plot then character driven actions (mainly) and with the uncertainty of how AFAA will go, it might become obsolete. But, I have already written 40 thousand along with its code as a base. Plus you get to date and talk to the main cast much quicker
No matter how you guys vote, I'll likely reveal info on the AFOP story line on what was supposed to happen, characters, arcs etc. likewise with ATWOW, I'll release the demo if the other wins cause... Damn, 40 thousand words wasted? Nuh uh!
If you have questions, feel free to ask!

The week of stories, spirit, and tradition had left a deep impression on Neteyam and his family. Each tale, every whispered memory within the Cove, had wrapped around them, forming threads that felt almost like roots, binding them to the mountains and the Tsyal.
Yet, TeheâEwnaâs words echoed in his mind: âBefore body must come spirit.â Now, it was time to learn the ways of the Tsyal physically.
The sun cast golden hues over the mountains as the day began, signaling the start of their physical training. Neteyam stood with Tuk and TeheâEwna, the others nearby, ready to experience the demanding lessons the Tsyal had prepared.
Tukâs small hand squeezed his, her wide eyes brimming with anticipation and a hint of nervousness. TeheâEwna stood beside them, her wings folded elegantly at her back, her calm presence a steadying force.
The group was led by Taylan, a warrior with feathers braided into his hair and a commanding demeanor.
âToday,â he announced, âyou will learn the art of balance, agility, and moving as one with the land.â His voice carried the authority of someone who had mastered the mountains, and Neteyam found himself listening intently.
They began with a series of exercises designed to strengthen their bodies and assess their agility. Taylan led them to a rocky incline that climbed steeply, dotted with boulders and narrow paths.
It was an obstacle course of sorts, crafted by nature itself, with vines hanging down and patches of moss that made the footing unpredictable. TeheâEwna watched the group with a gentle yet focused gaze, her wings twitching slightly as if sensing the anticipation.
âStay close to me, Tuk,â Neteyam said, adjusting his grip on her hand as they prepared to climb.
He could not help but feel protective of his little sister, but Tuk had a determination in her eyes that matched his own
TeheâEwna, always graceful and fluid, crouched beside them. âDo not fight the land,â she advised, her voice melodic and soothing.
âMove with it, feel the energy beneath your feet. Let it guide you.â She demonstrated, leaping lightly onto a boulder, and using the momentum to propel herself upward, her wings flaring for balance.
Neteyam took a deep breath, studying the way TeheâEwna moved, how her steps seemed almost effortless. With Tuk beside him, he began to climb, each step more deliberate than the last.
The incline was steep, and the rocks shifted slightly underfoot, but he remembered TeheâEwnaâs words. Instead of forcing his way upward, he adjusted his movements, feeling for the rhythm of the land.
Tuk, though smaller and less experienced, mirrored her brotherâs determination. She clung to Neteyamâs side, her small limbs working to keep up.
âI can do it,â she said, her voice fierce with concentration. TeheâEwna stayed close, a guiding presence, ready to catch Tuk should she stumble.
As they climbed, the land challenged themâloose stones, sudden dips, and patches of moss that made their footing treacherous. But there was also a sense of exhilaration.
TeheâEwna offered guidance, pointing out safe paths and occasionally using her wings to steady herself. âBalance is not just physical,â she explained, her voice carrying over the mountain breeze.
âIt is mental. Trust yourself, and the land will trust you back.â
Neteyam began to feel a change within himself. His body, initially tense with effort, started to relax as he moved with the natural flow of the rocks.
He noticed how TeheâEwnaâs wings would open slightly to catch the wind, and though he did not have wings, he mimicked the way she shifted her weight to maintain balance.
Tuk, too, was finding her rhythm. She laughed when she managed to leap over a small gap in the rocks, her joy infectious. âDid you see that, Neteyam?â she called, her face glowing with pride.
âI did,â he replied, smiling. âYouâre doing great, Tuk.â
TeheâEwna beamed at them both. âYou are learning quickly,â she said, her tone full of encouragement. âThis is the first step to becoming one with our land. Soon, you will move as though you have lived here your entire life.â
The climb ended at a ledge overlooking the valley below, the view breathtaking. Neteyam stood there, catching his breath, feeling a sense of accomplishment.
Tuk was beside him, her small chest heaving with excitement, and TeheâEwnaâs wings framed her as she looked out over the land.
âEvery challenge we face here has a purpose,â TeheâEwna said, her eyes reflecting the morning light. âIt connects us, reminds us that we are part of something greater.â Her gaze turned to Neteyam, and he felt the depth of her words.
He was beginning to understand that living among the Tsyal was not just about physical strength but about embracing the balance that defined their way of life.
And with that understanding came a newfound respect for the mountains, the clan, and the path he was now walking.
The late afternoon sunbathed the Tsyal mountains in warm, golden light, casting shadows that danced across the forest floor. Neteyam found himself walking through a winding path, the sounds of rustling leaves and distant bird calls filling the air.
TeheâEwna was at his side, her wings folded neatly against her back, moving with a natural grace that he was beginning to appreciate more with each passing day.
It was a rare moment of calm, and TeheâEwna had suggested a walk through one of her favorite trails, a place she often came to think or simply exist among the beauty of their home.
Neteyam had not expected to enjoy it as much as he did, but there was something soothing about the forest, especially in TeheâEwnaâs company. Her presence was gentle, yet it had a strength that drew him in, making him feel strangely at ease.
âSo,â TeheâEwna began, breaking the comfortable silence, âwhat did you think of the training today? Was it different from what you were used to?â Her voice was melodic, like the gentle notes of a song carried on the wind.
Neteyam chuckled softly, running a hand through his braids. âIt was definitely different,â he admitted.
âThe Omaticaya taught us to be warriors, to hunt and fight. And the Metkayina... they showed us how to live in the water, to ride Ilu and hold our breath for long dives. But hereâŠâ He paused, searching for the right words.
âIt is like everything has a deeper meaning. It is not just about surviving; it is about balance.â
TeheâEwna nodded, her eyes thoughtful. âExactly,â she said. âBalance is everything to us. It is what keeps us connected to Eywa and to each other. Even our training is meant to remind us of that.â She smiled at him, and he felt a warmth in her expression that made his heart skip a beat.
They reached a clearing where a small, tranquil pond lay surrounded by wildflowers. TeheâEwna walked over to the waterâs edge, dipping her fingers into the cool surface.
The pond reflected the sky, a mirror of soft blues and gentle clouds. Neteyam joined her, kneeling beside the water, watching as the ripples spread outward.
âItâs beautiful here,â he murmured, almost to himself.
TeheâEwna glanced at him, her smile softening. âI come here often,â she said. âItâs where I find peace, especially when the world feels overwhelming.â She tilted her head slightly, her eyes meeting his. âDo you have a place like that?â
Neteyam thought for a moment, his mind drifting back to the towering trees of the Omaticaya forest and the endless expanse of ocean with the Metkayina.
âI guess I did,â he said, a touch of wistfulness in his voice. âBut being here, everything feels so new. I have not found a place yet... though, this could be it.â
TeheâEwnaâs wings fluttered slightly, a delicate movement that caught his attention.
âIâm glad,â she said. âYou know, it is not easy, adjusting to a new way of life. But you and Tuk... you are doing well. Especially you.â Her eyes held his, and for a moment, it felt like the forest around them grew quieter, the world narrowing to just the two of them.
Neteyam felt a blush creep up his neck, and he laughed to break the tension. âIâm just trying not to embarrass myself too much,â he joked, though there was sincerity in his words.
âAnd Tuk... she has made it easier. Having her around reminds me of home.â
TeheâEwnaâs expression softened further. âSheâs a wonderful spirit,â she said. âCurious and full of life. Much like you, Neteyam.â She reached over, placing a gentle hand on his arm.
Her touch was light, but it carried a warmth that lingered.
They sat there for a while, talking, and sharing stories. Neteyam found himself opening up more than he expected, telling her about the adventures heâd had with his siblings, the challenges they had faced, and the hopes he carried for the future.
TeheâEwna listened with genuine interest, occasionally sharing stories of her own, tales of growing up among the mountains and learning the ways of her people.
As the sun began to dip lower in the sky, casting a golden glow over the pond, Neteyam realized just how much he enjoyed being in TeheâEwnaâs presence.
She had a way of making the world feel lighter, of making him feel like he belonged. And in that moment, he knew that maybe, just maybe, he was beginning to find his place among the Tsyal.
I hope you guys enjoyed it, imma work on more chapters and figuring out where I want the story to go đ
Prologue Ch1 Ch3
Pairing: Older! Neteyam x reader
Summary: now that the war was brought to the sea clans the sullys aswell as the metekayina family that gifted them uturu, decided to run, this time farther, not just a days travel, but nearly a weeks worth, towards the end they were met with dense mountains, and then they found a tribe of navi, with wings, and they learn about the tsyal people and about the original navi.
Warnings: none, use of non cannon naâvi words
Word count:2.5k
Notes: i mainly focus on world building and what the tsyal clans traditions and ways of living are so itâs probably a bit boring but i hope you guys like it đ
The first morning after their arrival the forest and reef naâvi were gathered by TeheâEwna âToday will be your first impressions of the clan for today we are going to take you to the cove of tales, if you want to live among us you must understand us, learn our core values, our way of life, our stories, and our traditions. These are things that will be essential to living among us and being able to adjust.â TeheâEwna even spoke with grace, her words flowing together in a melody, âthis will take up your first week before we move on to having you learn our ways physically, though before body must come spirit.â
As she explained what the plan was he became curious. when the sullyâs had arrived to the metkayina it was almost immediately he was learning to breath to dive and to live in the water, there had been little to no spiritual teachings other than going to the cove of ancestorâs since most clans had nearly identical spiritual practices, it made Neteyam wonder just how different this clan was.
It was not a long walk to the cove, it was a relatively short path from the ground caves that were their new homes to the deeper part of the clan where the entrance was located at the base of one of the surrounding mountains.
inside was narrow winding tunnel also relatively short, it widened as they got closer to the destination and inside was a circular cave clearing in the mountain, the entrance itself was accentuated by a winding arch of vines.
There was a semi-circle of stones meant to be seating for times of storytelling, there were carving in the stone, intricate details, and the entirety of the cove was adorned with bioluminescent moss and fauna, illuminating the cove in an ethereal glow.
Woven tapestries hang along the rock walls of the cove alongside paintings, depicting stories and the history of the clan.
Small altars are placed at the base of a waterfall and along the edges of the cove.
Neteyam was awestruck, there was nothing like this in the metkayina nor the Omaticaya, as they all took seats the winged naâvi began âthis is used as a home of stories and celebration, today we start at the beginning, the oldest and deepest of our tales, the phoenix.â
As she spoke, she drew their attention to the largest of paintings. from the back of someone, they were depicted with wings that were bigger than a young Ikran, horns taller than Neteyamâs head twice over, their wings were starched out to the fullest capacity, and they had a glow around them, small tendrils of magic.
âShe was the first daughter of Eywa, she was created to keep the balance of EywaâEveng gifted with wings to soar through the skies and a soul deeply attuned to the life force that connected all things. For ages, she upheld her purpose, nurturing the natural balance and guiding the creatures Eywa had brought to life. But her loneliness became a persistent ache, leading her to yearn for beings who could walk, speak, and share her life in a way that Eywaâs animals could not. Among her wings and horns she was given a gift from Eywa above all else, she didnât just protect balance, she was balance, in one hand she held life and creation, in the other she held death and destruction, so she went against the great mothers wish, and used this gift to birth the Tsyal and the naâvi race,â
the group was in awe, this was a tale they had never heard from any clan or elder, but they could sense she was being truthful in her words, âwe were unlike anything Pandora had seen: graceful, intelligent, with wings and horns that reflected our creator. The Phoenix infused us with her wisdom, courage, and resilience, believing we would be her partners in upholding Pandoraâs balance. Eywa, sensed this break in the natural order, grieved at the Phoenixâs defiance. She reminded her daughter that every life on Pandora was interconnected and that introducing a new speciesâone not woven directly by Eywaâs own handâwould create ripples in the delicate web of balance she maintained. Though Eywa did not destroy the Tsyal, she distanced herself from the Phoenix, trusting that her daughter, who was made from balance itself by the great motherâs own hand, would face the consequencesâ as she spoke, she had an air of passion, immersed in the story she told.
âThis choice left the Phoenix with a profound sense of guilt. She had been created to nurture and protect the balance of Pandora, yet her own actions had introduced a new force within the ecosystem, one that came from her personal desires rather than Eywaâs vision. She had been driven by passion and yearning. We as a people were born of blessing and burden so intertwined one cannot be separated from the other, because of this the Tsyal dedicate ourselves in nurturing the balance, we address any imbalance such as over population personally, we always remain in tune with Eywa insuring to never go against her wish for balance and equilibrium. Every aspect of life has been cultivated to ensure this.â They were all captivated by this story no one more that Kiri.
âwhy would the phoenix go against Eywa if she was made to carry out the great mothers wishes?â Neteyam wondered the same of the first daughter, âshe did not mean to, she was led by desire, and while she was creating to keep balance, she was also given free will, to make her own decisions apart from Eywa, just like us, while people can tell us what to do it is up to us whether we follow their words or notâ she had a look of amusement on her face as if telling a clueless child something painfully obvious, which she essentially was.
âis she was the first daughter why have none of us heard this before?â Tuk was the next to speak, âWell as we grew, we left these mountains, to dense forests, swamps, and plains, our horns and wings were no longer needed, disappearing over many generations, we were met with new environments, and we adapted.â She had a gentle smile as she spoke her response âand it was not just wings and horns that were left behind, so were traditions, annual celebrations, and festivals. All of these were left behind in the face of change, and the new beginnings they faced.â
The day was spent like that, her sharing the traditions and ways of the new clan, it took Neteyam by surprise, he learned things he had never known, she was right, every aspect of life was in line with balance, never taking more than necessary and dedicating themselves to Eywa.
As the week continued, he learned more of the clan. The diet was plants grains and little meat usually from small animals, fish was a delicacy saved for celebrations and major events. He learned mating traditions, what is done in grief and death, and at the end of the week they were taken to the spirit tree, to them it is the Kaltum cave, or the heart of Eywa
The day started earlier than usual with extra people, a warrior Taylan, a healer Xan âkore, and a group of younger ones, Kahlo, Atâok, and Niâalu. In the outskirts of the clan was located a mountain so tall no Ikran, not even Makto could fly over it, there was an entrance at the base of the tunnel that had shocked Neteyam when it was revealed because of just how well hidden it was, as they entered there were winding tunnels with steep incline, he ended up holding Tuk so she wouldnât fall.
as they were walking the healer spoke âthe sacred tree embodies the balance of nature and spirit, it is said the phoenix herself planted the seed, marking the birth of the naâvi and so that it would forever be a reminder of the importance of balance.â She spoke from the front of the group; he was in the back along with Tuk and TeheâEwna.
Over the week he had gotten to know her better, he would often accompany Tuk to her lessons with the other children of the clan TeheâEwna and others there to be the teachers, they would weave and do crafts to entertain the children.
Surprisingly TeheâEwna was curious of the previous two clans Neteyam had called home, she would tell him more about the clan and rituals and other things he would need to know, Tuk also took a great liking to her, constantly asking questions and the three of them exploring the mountains with him and Tuk on his Ikran.
As they descended the tunnels him Tuk and TeheâEwna in a slower pace then the rest, a little behind. And while Neteyam was at least a head above her when walking her wings surrounded him, at first when they would go for walks in the forest with Tuk she would try to restrain them and prevent them from making him uncomfortable, she quickly saw he didnât mind and that she was able to relax and not dwell or focus on them.
After about 15 minutes of walking the tunnels, like the cove of tales, became wider and taller, only what they lead too was infinitely more beautiful.
Inside the circular cavern was full of luminescent fungi and moss with crystals imbedded in the walls, but in the middle held The Kaltum Tree, its trunk tall and gnarled, with a wide base that tapers as it reaches higher, giving the tree a presence that feels ancient and wise.
The bark luminous, etched with patterns that resemble constellations, giving it a celestial appearance.
These patterns glow softly, only adding to the beauty of it, The branches extend upward and outward like great, feathery wings, These branches are draped with clusters of bioluminescent flowers Each one emitting a warm, radiant glow that casts colorful shadows on the cave walls, making the entire cavern come alive with shifting colors.
The leaves of the Kaltum Tree are long, thin, and iridescent, shimmering like jewels when touched by the ambient light of the cave. When they rustle in the faint underground breezes, they make a soft, musical sound, like chimes, enhancing the mystical ambiance.
The branches stretch wide and high, filling the cavern with a protective, sheltering presence, it brought the phoenix to the front of his mind, imagining this is how her presence would feel.
The air feels warm and carries a faint, sweet fragrance from the treeâs blossoms, the entire atmosphere was full of energy, it made him speechless, the spirit tree back home and the cove of ancestors was one thing, this place was so much more.
âWhen one feels they must reflect, or receive guidance this is where we go, many receive visions during the path for self, seeing glimpses of their place in the clan, what their future may hold, and even their mate.â TeheâEwna spoke to the group she herself in wonder.
âThis is the most sacred place in these mountains, we call it the heart of Eywa because people sometimes receive visits from the great mother herself, to show the path she is intending for you to follow, most end up legends, their stories told for generations.â
In the Omaticaya, not everyone faces Iknimaya, you are given challenges to prove your worth as a warrior, you must catch a banshee, in the Tsyal, all are faced with the Yulunâay, the journey to self.
There are six total aspects of the journey, the first is the journey of reflection, you spend about a week strengthening your bond with Eywa, you journey into the mountains facing the elements, and learning to sustain life, while keeping balance.
The second is the crafting of the totem, this is crafted during their time in the mountains from what they can find, branches, stones, feather, leaves etc. it is meant to reflect oneself, their personality, and their journey. Once they come back to the clan, it is blessed by Tsahik and is placed in the cove until it is put in their home as decoration.
The third is the sacred marking, much like the metkayina, they are inked, like the walls of the cove, their skin imbedded with ink from burnt herbs, so that when they have children and grandchildren they can point to it and say âthis is from my Yulunâayâ, it also marked them, in their role as a protecter of the balance.
The fourth is the gift of wings, in the Kaltum parent and close loved ones give gifts, titled as a Nahâru, wings of spirit, they serve as representation of life, freedom, and guidance, and as a reminder of the new stage of their life, once the person has all their gifts the family member all put their hands on their gift, infusing it with their love, and support.
The fifth is the yalaru, the dance of transition, it is a communal celebration of the clan, the participant performs a dance, telling the story of their journey to the clan, symbolizing their passage into adulthood. Elders and parents join in, creating a unified circle that represents the past, present, and future of the Tsyal.
The last step the sixth is the acceptance of responsibility, in a private ceremony in the Kaltum, you pledge to serve and protect the Tsyal Clan and keep the balance of EywaâEveng. It is said to bind them spiritually, many say that they feel as though the tree itself acknowledges the commitment, then you are to choose a path, crafters, hunters, healers, or spiritual guides, then a mentor will choose to teach you how to follow the path.
It is entirely different, almost completely a spiritual journey, instead of proving your ability to provide, to hunt, to fly, you become Intune with Eywa, reinforcing your belief of balance, TeheâEwna told him that balance is more than just taking and giving, it is existence itself, dark and light for example, one cannot exist without the other, no light without dark, and vice versa.
This is their way of life, something taught from birth to death, imbedded in everything they do, their ways have been evolved to continue to uphold balance in every aspect.
TeheâEwna made an example for them, connecting to one of the lower falling leaves to connect their kuru with
Connecting with the Kaltum is was euphoric, he felt only peace, he could feel the souls, the memories, the hopes, the dreams, the love, of all the souls connected to the tree, he felt Eywa, and the phoenix, the feeling of protection, of home, filled his system, he was floating, drifting away from the cove, the people around him, in that moment he was intertwined completely with the ancestors, with all the life on Eywa, we was nothing, yet he could feel everything, like a dreamless sleep.

In the days of first song the Tsyal naâvi were born, the first of eywas children, much like theyâre brothers and sisters of today they have blue skin and black hair, however they were not built for the trees or the water they were crafted for the skies, with horns that reach for the clouds and wings that cary them across the skies. As they grew and evolved, so did theyre curiosity, wandering to all points of eywaâeveng and across eons they adapted, most trading theyre wings for tails, shifting from the highest of mountains, to the depths of the sea, and the dense of the Forrest, but with this adaption the Tsyal were forgotten through the years, theyre stories stopped being told, theyâre tales forgotten in time, a myth in some clans at most.
Though now that the war was brought to the sea clans the sullys aswell as the metekayina family that gifted them uturu, decided to run, this time farther, not just a days travel, but nearly a weeks worth, towards the end they were met with dense mountains, and then they found a tribe of navi, with wings, and they learn about and fall in love with the Tsyal people, the original navi.

Usually when people take naps they canât sleep later on..
That sadly happened to you tonight :(
You had tossed and turned all night but with no prevail, you stayed awake
You didnât wanna bother your mate, Neteyam so you left him be
He did wake up during the night though,
Hearing you groans of agony as you tried to put yourself to sleep
He wondered why you didnât ask him to help you sleep?
So he did what he though was best at the moment and started cuddling you from behind
It spooked you a little, not knowing he was awake but it was comforting
Even after his cuddles and forehead kisses, you still werenât tired
It didnât help you had a rough training in the morning
So that night you just looked up at the sky and watched the stars
You did sleep for a few hours donât worry!
By a few hours I mean 1-2 ;(
The next morning you had lots of hardcore training and hunting to do
Which was horrible for you since you were exhausted
During your training, you were so tired you started nodding off slowly
But no fear!
Mr. Best boyfriend of the year is here!
He was standing beside you since you both trained with Jake together
It just so happens that when you kept nodding off your head fell into place on his shoulder
He was shook at first
He knew you were tired but this tired?
Neteyam also knew about your little naps during the day
But being his S/O he covers for you
He might have to keep you from doing that from now on thoughâŠ
But nonetheless he let you sleep on him
Your boyfriend actually thought it was adorable how you fell asleep on him
The peaceful look on your face
To the slight snores you made
It made him lightly chuckle, trying not to wake you
Like I said before he does think itâs cute that you sleep on him..
But that habit is gonna have to stop if you donât want his father scolding you later on
Heâll nudge you with his shoulder and wake you up so you wonât be in trouble
Then heâll whisper,
keep your head up love, father wonât be happy when he sees you sleeping during his lessons
with a small smile following it :)

All he wanted to do is come home to you and talk about your day, which is always much better than his. In time he grew to love hearing you ramble.
Talking about one thing and then something else happened and that topic excites you even more, so you randomly switched topics without knowing. It was his favorite part of his wholee day. Just sitting in your tent listening to you talk.
It was relaxing for him really and after what had happened today?
He needed to be relaxed so badly.
He walked to your tent in a hurry, not even thanking for taking note to his people congratulating him. Your tent was not far away but it was farther than his familyâs tent, so it was a bit of a walk but he finally got there.
You were humming to yourself when you heard your tent flap open. When you turned around you saw your mighty boyfriend Neteyam standing there with an exhausted look on his face.
You gasped while looking at him standing on your feet âWhat happened Ma Neteyam? Are you alright?â You look over his body checking to see if he was hurt, but turns out he just had a few scratches here and there which is expected.
You quickly sat him down on the floor, you also following suit cuddling up against him trying to get comfortable. Then your breathe in his scent. He always smelled like fresh pine and rain. It calmed your nerves deeply.
âI am fine my love..please,tell me how was your day?â He has a genuine smile on his face when he says it too. He loves hearing about the adventures youâve had while he was away. It makes him relieved that you were safe and enjoying yourself.
âAh, well Me and KiriâŠâ you told him about your whole day, about how you helped Moâat & Kiri doing Tsahik work and healing others, how you took Tuk exploring in the forest(safely), and how you yourself caught something today. Trying to provide for your people too.
You got so caught up in talking you noticed how you didnât even let Neteyam talk about his day. You gasped âIâm sorry Ma Neteyam! I got so caught up in my day I didnât even ask about yours! Please for give me.â You felt bad that you were talking so much.
Sometimes people get annoyed with you for talking so much about yourself, you donât mean any harm. You just get so caught up in what you were saying. Sometimes you feared Neteyam would do the same but surprisingly,he has not.
âIt is alright love, I promise.â He chuckled at you, he thought that he had been obvious that he liked hearing you talk. You have an eyebrow raised at him in confusion.
His laughter died down soon though once he noticed it.
âI love hearing you talking about your adventures love. It warms my heart just thinking about it.â You smiled brightly at him after he said that. He wasnât bothered by you talking so much at all. It makes you fall in love with him even more than you already have.
âBut please Neteyam,â you giggled at him in joy âplease tell me about your hunt. Was it a big animal you caught?â âHmm, you know how Loâak is.. always getting into trouble, somehow.â He told you all about his hunt, to but he kept it short to hear more about you since you cut yourself off.
You giggled when he mentions Loâak or one of the soldiers missing an arrowïżŒ. It was also fun for you hearing about his day since you spend so much of it away from each other.
âEnough about me love. Please, tell me more about your day? It seems much more interesting.â You hum in content and continuing on, enjoying your time together.

Someone New
âSomeone Newâ || Avatar: TWOW
Synopsis: You and Rotxo have been courting each other for a while now. Tsireya notices this and gets jealous, but in secret Y/n and Rotxo have mated.
Warnings: Mentions of sex, jealousy, angst & fluff, secret relationship, a little Tsireya & Loâak at the end
Request: I'm a total sucker for torment, so i come to humbly ask for a part two on Tsireya and sully y/n, but i wanna see how thing's between the two go when their older and y/n reluctantly falls in love (genuinely in love at that, slightly more relaxed and less guarded and defensive compared to when others had tried courting them) with Roxto after a while of him courting them? Y/n is scared that their parent's might separate them from him like with what happened with Tsireya? Perhaps the pair become secret mates and it's later revealed?
A/n: Yes!! Iâve been planning on doing a part 2 but never knew how I wanted it. This was great idea, I appreciate it anon! Hopefully I did this nicely!! đ Even though I totally forgot the whole plot to the other đ.
Rotxo x Metkayina! Reader | Taireya x Metkayina! Reader | Tsireya x Loâak
You and Rotxo were sitting together on the sand talking with one another. Then you heard laughter coming from afar, being as curious as you were you turned your head in the direction only yo quickly turn back to your mate.
Tsireya was coming near.
The two of you havenât talked since the incident when you two split. Itâs been almost a year since then. Over time youâve tried to get over her but somehow failed.
But one day though, youâve finally caught feelings for another. Rotxo. You were overjoyed that youâd be able to move on from your past love.
Your feelings towards Rotxo were very obvious to everyone, including Tsireya. To say she wasnât happy about it would be an understatement.
She was furious. With herself and you. Had it been so long that youâve finally gotten over her? Have you finally found another? Her heart started to crack but deep down she knew it was for the best.
For the both of you.
It hurt seeing you happy with someone else but she has to suck it up and pretend like she wasnât hurting on the inside.
Meanwhile you and Rotxo has had a blast getting to know each other over time. Even to the point where youâve started courting one another. Your parents never knew, you told him that youâd be devastated if the two of you got separated.
So he agreed to keep it between the two of you.
He always brought you gifts like seashell necklaces or pearl bracelets and youâd always accept them with a huge smile on your face. Tsireya saw this too. She was fuming with anger inside her but nonetheless she kept it to herself.
Your parents found you on their own, but they were overjoyed once you had found a potential mate! Very supportive of you and Rotxo.
You and Rotxo have been so close relationship wise that you both thought it was time to take it to the next level.
He brought you to the closest place to Eywa where every couple goes to mate.
It was beautiful, to the glowing tendrils & the night sky above you. It was perfect. âRotxo, I love it here. Thank you for bringing me.â
The two of you were so close, so close that your noses were touching. âItâs my pleaser, my love.â The two of you looked into each otherâs eyes before you closed the gap into a passionate kiss.
You both slowly started to descend on the rock beneath the both of you. You reached down to untie is loin cloth, but before doing that you looked up at him with curious eyes.
âLove, are you sure you want to do this with me?â He cupped your chin to tilt your head towards him. âIâd want to do anything with you, my love. It is okay.â
Then before you knew it, the both of you were bare before each other. Everything was so perfect. Down to the part where he was entering you and when you connected your Kuruâs to each other. That whole night was every thing you could imagine and more.
Somehow Tsireya over heard you that night. She was going to see Eywa until she heard the both of you. She was seething with anger as she went back to the island, storming off after that.
It was time for dinner with her family anyways, so sheâs right on time. She went to dinner angry though, her mother asking her what was wrong but she shrugged it off. Saying it was from her having a bad training that day.
She went to bed angry too. It was horrible to think she could pray to Eywa for you to come back to her. Only to have mated with someone else before she could even get there.
You didnât even have a proper mating ritual ceremony for crying out loud, so why were you mating? She didnât know, she couldnât think all that good at the moment with her tears flooding her vision every few seconds.
That night she cried herself to sleep.
You and Rotxo were no secret to anyone anymore after that. After you two made it official you almost told the whole village!
The only person you told the people to not tell was Tsireya. It would hurt your heart to tell her.
Hell, even her parents knew!
One day though, her parents were talking about hosting your and Rotxoâs mating ritual ceremony. She over Heard them that night too. When they heard a sob they turned their heads to the curtains to find a silhouette of their daughter out side walking off.
They groaned to themselves for letting it slip knowing their child was awake.
Tsireya knew she had to tell you how she felt about you still.
The next day she thought about confronting you about it telling you how she felt so she can get over you already.
You were in your Marui doing crafts when she came in. Her fuming with anger made you confused âWhat is wrong Tsireya? Has something happened?â âYes, something has happened and I need to you tell me why!â
Her voice had a booming anger to it which frightened you. Youâd never seen her get so angry like this. âWhy did you and Rotxo mate last night? Why ____?â She had a pleading look on her face while you had a shocked one.
Her question was met with silence and she looked at you in disbelief. She started confessing her longing feelings for you afterwards, mentioning that she had to get them off her chest.
She wanted you to say something. She wanted you to come back to her, but she knew that couldnât happen. âI am sorry Tsireya, but I have already chosen.â You weâre just as hurt as she was. Seeing her like this. She just looked at you and scoffed, walking out of your tent.
You started to tear up at her words, you didnât know that she had felt that way about you still. But it was already too late.
She thought that to get her mind off the whole thing she would take a swim on her Ilu. Itâs been almost an hour since then and sheâs calmed down, feeling better.
She was playing with all the fish in the water when she heard something. There was a horn that caught her attention, so she got on her Ilu and went back to the village.
She came back to see her people surrounding what looks like newcomers. She swam off her Ilu and got off the water to take a closer look.
Then she saw a boy. With a darker blue skin tone and braided hair. Her heart couldnât help but race at the sight of him. He caught her eye and looked back at her, then followed up by a short wave.
She giggled and turned her attention back to her people. Her eyes wandered around until she found you. She quickly looked away, seeing standing by Rotxo with your arm around his. You smacked his head when he had fun of the two boys in front of you with a glare.
Her father and the Oloâeyktan of the Omatikaya comes to terms that they will stay and learn their ways to not be failures.
Tonowari mentioned that Tsireya & Aoânung would show them around with no take backs. âBut father-â âIt has already been decided.â He had a firm tone to his voice when she said that.
Tsireya was more than happy to show them around and get a chance to talk to the boy she had her eyes on.
Maybe thisâll be her chance to find someone new. To have a new relationship with another just like you did.
That was the first time she met Loâak.

Neteyam x Tawkami! Reader HCâs || Avatar
Synopsis: Readerâs and Neteyamâs relationship head cannons
Warnings: Fluff, kissing
A/n: this was something quick I thought of just now. Iâm making another fix about the Tawkami Reader!
Neteyam x Tawkami! Reader
â You and Neteyam see each other in private majority of the time
â You like to bring him flowers or new crystals you found from Green Home
â He would always keep them with him, appreciating them.
â He even weaved one into his Song cord when you two became a couple, taking it as a big achievement
â He would always be infatuated by your clans way of life. All the greenery you wore and and the head pieces adorned on your head.
â He would definitely teach you his way of life, in contrast to yours it was very different
â The times that your clans would meet up with each other every once in a while you and Neteyam would always sneak away
â Would always sneak into your hammock late at night to sleep behind you when his clan would be at Green Home
â Sneaks kisses when you walk past each other or in his tent, sometimes make out sessions if your quiet enough
â Would take you Banshee Riding late at night for dates
â Sometimes for date nights you would show him all the new experiments with the plants and wild life.
â Maybe even a nightly chase if youâre at it, him chasing you on the huge branches of trees
â One day you made him a flower head piece matching yours to wear whenever he came to visit, you were a bit possessive
â Has his hand on your lower back or waist, always has some kind of physical contact with you
â I think Neteyam would get jelous if he saw some of the boys in his clan trying to court you, not knowing you were being courted already
â Youâd have to reassure him that youâre all his for life, even if you havenât mated yet
â His family LOVES you, especially Neytiri like I mentioned in the other one.
â Jake thinks youâll keep his son in line so he respects you as his future mate
â Kiri loves talking with you, taking advice on how to be a better healer
â Loâak loved that you would go on Banshee rides with him during the day. Someone who finally has fun with him
â Spider however tries to avoid you, you arenât fond of the human kind after they attacked the forest, so he stayed out of your way
â But he still had respect nonetheless
â Tuk was definitely your favorite, Neteyam bright up one time that you loved her more than him
â He doesnât have to worry about that though, heâs still your only love. â€ïž

Y/nâs pov
You cant be serious. How could he just confessed to me so openly like that? I look at him in shock before I look away. This was new to me, this whole experience was. I was lost for words. So much that my mouth was completely dry from having it open for too long. I could tell his expression was awaiting on me to answer, so I did. âYou..like me?â I paused for a moment before I continued. âI could say Iâm very..glad,to hear that from you. As I do like you too but I have just one question. Why? The other boys from my clan donât see me in the way that you do. So why do you like me this much?â I asked desperately, I hope heâs not just playing with my feelings right now.
Neteyamâs pov
Did she really just ask me that? What I liked about her? I look at her kind of offended. âAre you saying my taste in women is bad? I think your a very pretty girl ____, but thatâs not just the only reason why I like you.â I said hoping she doesnât cut me off as I continue.
âYou have this sort of..mysterious thing about you that has me wondering. Wanting to know more things about you. I love the way you smile at me even if itâs not a big one,it still counts. We relate to so many different topics, I love the time that we spend together ____. Every moment I try to spend it with you during that day. Thatâs why I like you.â I say all of this very confidently. Iâve never shared my feelings this openly to anyone about this sort of topic. Itâs new. Itâs special at the same time too. â I hope that you can accept my confession to you ____â I hope she does, back at my original home I never had the time to..have a crush you could say. Now I have a little more time on my hands to do so.
Y/nâs pov
âNeteyam. Do you mean all of this?â If so, please tell me now.â It almost sounds like I was begging at this point. I needed to know the truth before I say my true answer to him. He nods at me, I look in his eyes to see if sheâs telling the truth. Being the Tsahik in training had its perks. I read him spiritually, to see if he was lying to me. But I saw now lies, therefore he was telling the truth. I sighed and told him my answer.
âNeteyam. I like you too. I realized it a few days ago, but I really do. I do accept your confession.â I say with almost tears in my eyes. I canât believe this was happening. He ran up to me and hugged me while lifting me on the air. He started laughing and so did I. For a moment he stopped and I looked down at him to see him already looking at me. I looked deep into his eyes and leaned down..that is how we had our first kiss.
âââââââââââââââââââââ
Itâs been at least 3 days since that whole confession happened and me and Neteyam are taking it slow. You could say we are a couple,I donât really count things as dating unless two Naâvi bond. But weâre too young for that at the moment. Neteyam has been thinking about telling our parents about our relationship. Iâve been against it every time he brought it up.
Iâve only been against it because I donât know how my mother will react. Iâm not too worried about my father, heâs always been an open man. Hopefully he can accept us too, even though me and him donât get on good terms heâs still my father either way.
I sighed as Neteyam asked for what it feels like the 10th time today. I stop in my tracks and groaned annoyingly. â Ugh! Fine, we can tell them. As long as you stop annoying me.â I said glaring back at him while he looks as happy as day.
ââââââââââââââââââ-
We told his parents first. They are a lot more open to new things, rather than mine. I would say the most shocked one had to be Jake, his father. Neteyam has mentioned that a while ago he had told his mother that he liked me,so it wasnât a surprise to her. None the less, they were happy for the both of us that we were finally together.
Now on to the hard part..my parents. They had been in the Marui for a while now. I sighed as I couldnât be any more nervous. Neteyam saw this and said â Hey, itâs going to be okay. If anything happens Iâll be right by your side.â He says as I nod and headed my way in.
âMom, dad, I have something I would like to tell you.â I said trying to be as confident as I could. âMe and Neteyam are together, as a couple.â I said with a stern face trying to his my nervousness if it ever came through. They look at each other amused before laughing.
Me and Neteyam look at each in question when I ask âWhat? Why are you laughing?â They stopped laughing and said âDaughter, me and you father already knew. Your nosy brother told us that same night. He was eavesdropping.â My mother said as she rolled her eyes at the thought of my brother. âEven though you donât need our approval, we accept you and your relationship with the boy.â My father said witha proud look on his face. I looked relieved and thanked them for their consent as Neteyam & I walked out of the Marui.
We looked at each other with a knowing look. Knowing that this relationship with definitely go far. Very far.
Hey, herbivore! Surprise?
Well, you shouldn't... Do i look so different than before?
