I don’t know about you but this scene to me is Jayce realizing that he loved Viktor, especially with him being in Mel’s makeup

edit: l just checked to see if they were actually canon (l know l was setting myself up for disappointment) and they aren’t, l watched a video of the creators saying that they love each other but they are not gay, they are just friends. My question is if that is true why do things like this. It was a choice to make scenes like this, why did you give me hope??? Like what the fuck was the point then?? Anyway sorry for the rant

I am re-watching season 1 of Arcane after finishing season 2.

I noticed a beautiful detail. In episode 2 "some mysteries are better left unsolved" when Jayce is about to jump and Viktor interrupts him he is both carrying the notebook and the bracelet Jayce wears with the rune stone.

Giving the bracelet back to Jayce is such a beautiful act (spoilers for season 2) Viktor gives it to him twice technically and saves him from death twice.

I hate the "both sides are bad" narrative about jayviks vs Mel stans people use because only one side has written multiple fanfiction of a black woman being experimented on by their favorite white gay man. The way this isn't the first time jayviks put Mel in their fics just to write weird ass scenes like this

Stop making female leads who have a canon romantic relationship with a male lead YOU ship with another man into a "fujo" so she doesn't get in the way of your ship 💀 "She deserves better" stop lying, you don't gaf about her, if she deserves better than the male lead why are you obsessed with the male lead and ship him another man while completely ignoring her? "She's a girl kisser" all time you don't gaf about lesbian ships. You know y'all can ship your toxic yaoi or whatever the kids call it without making the actual female love interest into a cuck???It's not the #feminist action y'all think it is.
