Looks like it's time for an encounter. Here's to another part, we're getting close to finishing this.

“But I can’t” Zelda said and shook her head. “I can’t sit around and do nothing. That is not how I was raised. I am a princess for crying out loud. I can’t be lazy and I can’t be too active. What can I do? Oh right nothing!” she exclaimed and then felt herself sink into her seat when she realized that she had just raised her voice in the presence of Samwise. Guilt washed over her like a cold shower and they looked away. 

That was not their intention. But something just snapped. Years of pent up frustration just left them and they didn’t like the fact that she had directed that frustration onto someone they loved so dearly. The crying only got worse and they covered their face not only due to the tears that rushed down their face like a damn waterfall but also due to the shame.

They didn’t like being vulnerable around people. And especially not when it came to things like this. Not when it came to their past life in Hyrule. Samwise didn’t know anything about that place and yet they just expect him to understand. Why? Why should he?

By an instinct that he didn’t know he had, Sam gathered Zelda up in as firm a hug as he was willing to not risk hurting her. Telling her to stop crying would be pointless, and he didn’t want her to feel like he wasn’t listening. 

When they settled enough for him to deem talking a safe route again, he spoke gently, “You can, and you must, Zelda. We all have to make little sacrifices sometimes, and I think someone as wonderful and bright as you can make it through this one. It's not forever. The clouds will pass over you one day, and the sun will be a marvel. But unless you make the choices necessary now, you won’t be able to enjoy it as much. Okay?”
