I wonder if the ACOTAR world follows the same calendar year as ours
Like what if it takes them a different amount of days for their planet to circle the sun
It could take 200, 400, or even 500 days and because we don’t have any real idea of how their months are structured we wouldn’t even know…..
My favorite thing is when the ACOTAR/TOG/CC men look at their mates for the first time and describe them as the most beautiful woman they’ve ever seen
Bone carver theory part two:
When Cassian sees the bone carver we don’t get a description of what he sees, only that he is in shock by who it is.
My original bone carver theory: The bone carver takes the form of a person with a secret that you don’t know until it’s too late.
I’m wondering if the bone carver appeared to him as his mother….
In the books Rhys, Azriel, and Cassian are all the most powerful Illyrian warriors basically EVER. Both Az and Cassian require 7 siphons to channel their magic and strength.
- Rhys’s power comes from his royal bloodline
- Az’s power has something to do with his shadows
- So why is Cassian ( a supposed bastard) so freaking powerful?
I think that his mother never told him the truth about his father and his father is possibly part of a powerful bloodline of lords or royalty or something. Which is part of the reason he was so quick to dismiss Cassian’s lower class mother.
In the books the bone carver also calls him “the prince of bastards” so maybe Cassian’s bloodline makes him a prince?
Which would also be interesting cause Nesta’s mother always said she would marry a prince…
Bone Carver theory:
In the books Feyre, Rhys, and Cassian each have an encounter with the bone carver.
- Feyre sees him as her future son (But, later says that the bone carver didn’t appear to her with wings)
- Rhysand sees him as Jurian
- We don’t know how Cassian sees him
I think that the bone carver appears as a person with a secret that you don’t know until it’s too late.
- Nyx’s secret was his wings, which Feyre didn’t know could kill her until late in her pregnancy
- and Jurian’s secret was that he was never allied with the king. Which could have been extremely helpful to the Night court in the war, had Rhys looked into his mind.
In Court of War and Ruin when Feyre realizes that Lucien is actually the son of Helion and not Beron it is mentioned that his mothers line must have been the one to give him his fire powers.
In Crescent City the Autumn king has fire powers. And I know many of us have just assumed that he is probably part of the same royal bloodline that the Prythian Autumn King is, but what if he is part of the same bloodline that Lucien is?
Okay stay with me…
Now what if Throne of Glass is somehow set before ACOTAR and CC and somehow Aelins descendants crossed into those worlds ( First ACOTAR and then CC)? And her fire powers were passed down for generations? Making both Lucien and Bryce descendants of Aelin
I’m so delusional y’all……
I took this quiz months ago and then tonight I took it again because I forgot I had already taken this exact one
I got Azriel again tho 👀
I currently have ACOTAR BRAIN ROT!!!!!
Y’all it’s bad…. How can I focus on studying for my finals when all I can think about is hot fairies in a fantasy setting 😭
Please just let me run away to Velaris ✨🌙✨
Challenge type: Difficult
Find a relationship written by Sarah J Mass that’s not between a girl in her 20’s and a man older than dirt
Seeing a lot of Azriel ship discourse on here lately
So now it’s time for a poll
I think that SJM will do that double perspective thing she did for ACOSF
Nesta pulling up to the solstice celebration in ACOFS like
(Warning: A Court of Silver Flames spoilers)
Just finished reading A Court of Silver Flames ( I know I’m late to the game)
Not sure if anyone else noticed it but in the blood rite when Nesta and Emerie receive help from the Illyrian dude (pages 671-674) he says his name is Balthazar
Balthazar means “Baal protect the king”
Throughout the entire series Nesta is referred to as “a queen without a throne”
So his role in the book is basically to protect the queen
Anyways, I hope we see him again he seemed like a decent dude
Cassian one the last poll so he’s out of the running
The one you don’t choose to marry is by default the one you choose to kill 👀
There are right answers and there are wrong answers
(Leave a comment letting me know why)
Part 1/3
When I first joined Acotar tumblr I followed ALL of the tags because I wanted the most content. Now my feed is a war of ships and pros and antis.
I’m here for the drama tho.
Booboo Stewart- Lucien
Age- 29
Hear me out... he'd dye his hair. Or wear a wig. He may not look like the fanarts that people are used to, but Booboo Stewart would fit Lucien's character really well. His charisma is off the charts. Have you seen his smile? From playing Seth in Twilight to Jay in Descendants, he often becomes a fan favorite. This would be no different. He would be exceptional playing our clever Spring Court Emissary.
Luke Eisner- Tamlin
Age- 26
It is my dream for Luke Eisner to play Tamlin. This beautiful, ethereal looking man was the best thing to come out of the monstrosity that was the Tall Girl movies. This man is so hot and talented, I am partly convinced he actually is fae. Although he only started acting recently, I think he would be a perfect fit for the High Lord of the Spring Court.
Charles Esten- Feyre's Father
Age- 57
Does anyone actually like Feyre's dad? Doesn't matter. He needs to be cast anyways. Charles Esten is used to playing an unstable and absent father figure like in Outer Banks and Jessie. In his previous roles, he has done an excellent job of playing a pitiful victim and I believe he could do justice to Feyre's dad by bring the same energy. I'm sure Charles Esten himself is a decent guy, but for some reason, I can just really picture him sulking and hunched over a fireplace.
Almost all the characters in the ACOTAR series are supposed to look like they are in their early to late 20s. They are immortal fae and I decided on this fancast because the actors need to look like they are in this age range for a number of years. I know this wouldn’t be everyone choice and a lot of people would love to see actors like Henry Cavill or Jason Momoa (trust me, I would too), but I wanted to keep the fancast more realistic towards the books.
(I don’t know why I’m saying all this like it’s a real casting, this is a fancasting. But istg if they make Jacob Elordi or Timothee Chalamet Rhysand, I’ll riot)
Elizibeth Gilles- Nesta
Age- 29
Elizabeth Gilles is Nesta. That's it. If you've seen her as Jade in Victorious or as Fallon in Dynasty, you know what I'm talking about. She's pure attitude. She knows how to play a complex character who seemingly doesn't give a shit. This bad bitch is the ONLY one I will except to play our resident Hellcat.
Danielle Rose Russell- Feyre
Age- 23
When I think of the casting for the upcoming ACOTAR TV show, Danielle Rose Russell is the first to come to mind. Danielle is perfect for the role of Feyre. She carried the Legacies TV show with her main character energy and has proven she has the attitude and talent to play our favorite huntress. Just picture her hunting in the woods, tracking down the Suriel, or fighting UTM.
