Headcanon that both of them are equally matched during sparring/training.

Leon has a little bit more economy and structure, because its hard to shake the habit as he's been fighting that way since he was a child/squire.

Lancelot has less structure and a bit more flow, like muted down version of Gwaine's fighting style. There's structure to his strikes, but there's also the odd little flair or trick that catches Leon off guard, it comes from being a wandering Knight and having a different range of opponents.

Whenever they fight, they eye-flirt too. Like, full on facial expressions eye-flirt. It's honestly disgusting.

Their sparring is mesmerising to watch, and the added romantic tension just makes it better.

Merlin annoys Lancelot about it more than he annoyed Arthur about Gwen in cannon. It gets so bad that at some point, Kilgarrah asks Lancelot how his 'mate' is faring.

Arthur is the last to notice, obviously, but you can bet he slides a sly remark in every once in a while when he and Leon are going over inventory of weapons. Leon thinks he's kidding, until Arthur forgets the two of them are not actually together yet.

Arthur, completely obliviously: So when are you and Lancelot celebrating your anniversary? Isn't it some time this week?

Leon: ...

Arthur: ...🤨

Leon: ...my- my lord, Sir Lancelot and I are simply good friends.

Arthur: ...Wait, whAT? 😲

When they finally get together, it's because Gwaine got them drunk and they kissed in the tavern (after everyone told him it wouldn't work).

Nobody was surprised.

Not even Leon and Lancelot.

I feel like Charlie and Leah would have such a unique relationship.

Like, yeah, Leah loved her dad and totally thinks Sue and Charlie's relationship is way too soon, and she's definitely not calling him 'dad' anytime soon.

But Charlie's been her uncle all her life before he was her stepdad.

He was there when Harry Clearwater taught her to fish for the first time and laughed till next Tuesday when she got her hook caught in Billy's hat somehow.

You can bet your ass he was snickering in the kitchen when Leah brought Sam home for the first time and flipped shit when he found out Sam left her. I bet he refused to talk to both Billy and Harry for an entire week after he found out Sam left Leah and they didn't bother to defend her (they knew about the imprint and Charlie and Leah didn't). I can see him pulling over Sam every other day and slapping him with a speeding ticket or some other crap on her behalf.

I bet Leah loved him too. I bet mini Leah was obsessed with his Police car and thought it was so cool, whereas Bella was always embarrassed by it.

I bet she used to invite him to all her basketball matches, because she knew he'd bring doughnuts for all the girls on her team, and she bragged about it constantly.

I bet she called him at the station at least once to snitch about a party down at Forks, because the host was some snotty, racist girl who called her Mother a redneck.

I bet he caught her smoking once, (a bad habit she picked up and couldn't stop, even after phasing,) and he just joined her in her silence rather than ratting her out to Sue.

I bet she dumped a guy once after Charlie didn't like him, because he's a good judge of character, and he cried that night because how does his step daughter value his word more than Bella ever did?????

I bet Charlie and Leah had a great relationship, and not the stupid and typical one where she hates him for replacing her dad.

I bet she loves him like crazy, and I bet he loves her too.
