I’ve been sitting on these since winter, although I’m not sure exactly why.  I still think about doing a playing card deck someday and started working up some face card designs when I had a little time off over the holidays.  I couldn’t settle on a standardized backdrop, so I began tailoring them to each character instead. If I were to do a Kickstarter campaign for something like this sometime, would anyone be interested, or not so much?

The lynching of Jesse Washington. Washington was beaten with shovels and bricks,was castrated, and his ears were cut off. A tree supported the iron chain that lifted him above the fire. Jesse attempted to climb up the skillet hot chain. For this, the men cut off his fingers. Jesse was 15. 1916.

Primarily set in the fictional southern college town of Wet Moon, the series stars a large cast of characters, most of whom are in their late teens and early twenties, with many into the Goth subculture and other Alternative cultures. (X)
