Knuckles: Fine, I admit defeat with honor. But when one of you needs the little horse removed from their hip joint, don’t even look at me. Amy: Whatever you say, Knuckles… Are we playing in pairs? Robotnik: I choose Shadow! Shadow: I object. Robotnik: Oh, yeah?! Banned! Shadow: Thank you. Robotnik: No, wait… oh, damn pride! Amy: Let’s write our names on slips of paper and let luck decide. Robotnik: Again? There are six of us at the table, and it always picks the thing I get along with the least. I’m starting to think you don’t like me… Sonic [passing a bowl with slips of paper]: I made them while you were whining. Here. Choose first before you run out of tears. Robotnik [sticks out his tongue and takes a slip reluctantly]: “Me.” Who’s “me”? Sonic: Damn it! Robotnik: What? Shadow: Ivo. If he wrote the papers, then “me” is him. Knuckles: If their name is him, why did they wrote 'me'? Sonic: I want another round. Amy: Now who’s whining? Knuckles: No, wait, you and Tails haven’t picked yet. You're the only ones left. Robitnik: Wait a minute… [Points to Amy with Knuckles, Shadow with Tails, then to himself with Sonic]: “Me” is you! Shadow: No wonder no one here wants to play Trivial… Robotnik: Well, I guess it could be worse. I could’ve been paired with the red one. I think it’s also the fact that Jim Carrey will be fully retiring after Sonic 3, so they’re really going to have to make a new story with new villains in Sonic 4

I'm afraid if Amy isn't in the third movie, she'll never get to be in the movies. We don't know for sure that Sonic 4 will happen. I know they've said things like how they're not slowing down anytime soon, etc... but that's just typical Hollywood talk. It's just part of marketing the third movie. The franchise will only continue if the third movie lives up to Paramount's financial expectations. I want Sonic 3 to crush Mufasa at the box office but it is serious competition. It's targeting the same demographic of families and releasing on the same day. Mufasa is a followup to The Lion King remake which even though it gets hate online is the 2nd most successful animated movie of all time. Neither of the Sonic movies have come close to making that kind of money and it's going to take more than just hardcore Sonic fans for this movie to be very successful. Not to mention Paramount also isn't in the best situation right now but maybe that will make them more likely to proceed with any franchise that is somewhat successful, especially since Transformers doesn't seem to be working out for them anymore
