Well, I fulfilled a crossover with the two things I love the most: Yuri On Ice and Resident Evil 💗⚡️⚡️⚡️ AND FEELS FREAKING AMAZING. Might repeat it next year, just to see how much I’ve improved. And because who else will give you this strange crossover, than me? ✨🫢

A Yuri on ice Hannah Montana au where Yuuri is an up and coming star stuck between his new life and his peter parker self.

He has a major crush on global superstar Viktor Nikiforov (ever since his Disney days), and Yuuri thinks he'll never be near Viktor's sphere of existence - until suddenly he is, until suddenly Viktor is aware of him and talking to him and likes his music.

Maybe Viktor asks to go on tour with him and work with him. But Viktor's s also having a crisis. Because he likes the cute shy bespectacled boy he met backstage while hiding from his fans, and he also likes the confident dazzling boy who is a monster onstage. If only they were the same person!

LONG POST I’M SORRY I NEED TO STOP DOING THIS (Reads left to right, top to bottom)

This is…. bad. Like, I did not format this well AT ALL and I apologize. For everyone in the dark, on 4/29 there was a seiyuu event for YOI wherein the voice actors acted out this scene (more or less, I took A LOT of creative liberties. I just wanted to get the basic gist.) That said, my entire experience with this whole thing was just based on a heavily condensed series of tweets, so my interpretation may well be WAY off. Also, I hate how choppy it is >> I didn’t write it so you can’t really… blame me (yes you can)

For anyone on whom the joke is completely lost (it was for me too at first), this gold fish ornament called a shachihoko is on top of a castle in Karatsu- a real Japanese town that the fictional town of Hasetsu is heavily based on in YOI. During this scene, everyone is drunk in Hasetsu and Yuuri drunkenly says that Victor isn’t as flexible as Shachihoko on top of Hasetsu Castle. Victor, being drunk himself, only hears “Chihoko” and interprets it as a woman’s name, one he thinks is Yuuri’s ex. Jealousy ensues lmao.

YOI didn't just give us actual queer rep in mainstream anime, great unique story, amazing animation and beautiful tracks. It also gave us some rare realistic representation of an anxiety disorder with Yuuri. That it can't just be loved away, that it returns in the most inopportune times, that it makes you irrational and blind to what's in front of you. And to people that didn't see the show, this isn't some fanon interpretation, it's pretty damn clear cut. If you haven't seen YOI, you definitely should give it a chance. The cancelled movie actually doesn't take away from the show at all since it was going to be a prequel and the anime ended in a pretty satisfying note, no cliffhanger or anything.
