An elk rescues a drowning marmot at Pocatello Zoo, Idaho. Keepers were worried when they noticed Shooter, a four-year-old elk, turning his nose up at his water. They looked on baffled as the moose tried to dip his hooves in his drinking trough - before trying to dunk his entire head in the water. But they were amazed when they saw 12-foot-tall Shooter lift his head out of the water - clutching a tiny marmot - a large ground squirrel - between his jaws. They looked on as Shooter gently nudged the rodent with his hoof, to make sure it was alive - before calmly watching it run off into the bushes.
Jack Ryan’s Plasmids (Bioshock shots)
Ingredients: 1 part Triple Sec 2 parts Blue Curacao 2 parts Sour Apple Pucker
Directions: Mix the ingredients into a bottle and upgrade at your leisure. If you don’t want to commit to creating a whole bottle, the 1:2:2 ratio will work for single shots as well. Note: Blue Curacao is essentially colored Triple Sec. The reason the recipe calls for Triple Sec is to prevent the color from being too dark.
With a little creativity, Michael Stewart made his own bottle to store his plasmids. Stewart said that he bought an oil bottle with a pourer from Walmart and affixed the label using sticker paper from Office Depot. The label for Jack Ryan’s is a shirt design, sold at Split Reason.
Drink created and photographed by Michael Stewart. Label design by Split Reason.
