i can't believe a boy this cute didn't want friends at the beginning of the anime !!
Hi, I'm siviii! this is my new tumblr page (the last one was banned, I do not know why) you may remember me from these artworks! Now I'm going to post here (´꒳`)♡
Okay, Dandadan is probably one if the stupidest plots for an anime I've ever watched, but DESPITE THAT-
It still manages to have extremely compelling characters, an awesome rom-com of the two MCs, awesome supernatural powers, and a surprisingly tasteful portrayal of the main plot.
Like, I know anime, I've watched food wars. I know how anime can be, and suffice to say: I'm honestly happy with how the writers are treating the plot.
It's not overtly sexual, they haven't turned the missing balls into some sex-fueled fantasy that can only be solved through fanservice and the main characters getting it on. Instead it's been treated like it is: a circumstance thats so fucking ridiculous it is legitimately hysterical, the idea that a ghost stole your balls is honestly comedic, and I'm glad that the anime (I haven't fully read the manga so I can't speak for it) is treating it as such.
Plus, the Opening, and artstyle in which the anime is being produced with is so fucking incredible, from the designs, angles, and action sequences to the actual character movements, each scene feels so alive and every personality really pops through the character's motions. I don't feel like there is a stagnant moment in the anime so far, and it's really fucking awesome to just sit and take in the art that is being blasted into my retinas.
So all in all: do I contemplate my life choices every time I think about the plot of the show? Yes, but do I also take into account that it could've been worse, and what we got is actually really fucking amazing all things considered? Absolutely.
guys lowkey I think I'm cooking
Can someone pitch procreate to me
#DabiHawks holding hands
Hawks, who convinces Dabi to go on a date, where they're both disguised in obnoxiously patterned jackets— a sure crime Hawks dug up from the back of his closet from an old photoshoot— pulled up so high past their mouths and sunglasses darker than night, Dabi doesn't really get it.
Doesn't really know how this is any different than when they slink with the shadows of night, but Hawks looks pleased even beneath the disguise and they're headed off to some unknown dining Hawks fancies. His eyes shift to Dabi's every so often, hand dropped against his side just brushing against Dabi's with every step like he wants to... wants to hold his hand.
So Dabi does it for him, doesn't think about what it means, doesn't think about it being their first, when he grabs Hawks' hand and slots their palms flat together, entwines their fingers and holds it firm against his side.
Hawks' hand automatically curls right along with his, smaller but thicker than Dabi's fingers and it's the first time he's noticed that too.
It feels like the right move when Hawks stares steady fast ahead now, his grip on Dabi's just as tight.
They're in sync, they're walking down the broadlights of Fukuoka, they're holding hands and no one is batting them an eye.
"Y'know," Hawks starts after a moment, "I've never..."
Held hands where it counted, Hawks thinks wordlessly, the last time being the distant memory of his mother's hand grabbing his to keep him from wandering off.
The sentence hangs, but Dabi fills in the blanks.
Never held hands?
Dabi doesn't have to look to know birdie is radiating happiness, the palm of his hands growing warm beneath Dabi's permanent heat.
It's nothing crazy and Hawks knows that, but still it feels like a first of a moment and he's never had, a normal moment before.
Dabi hasn't either.
They don't talk about it and Dabi, doesn't make him.
This is for Hawks.
That's what im sayinnggggggg it's like as if there were NO heroes before all might yk ? It's like her character is there to just acknowledge that there's a little bit of a plot hole there. It didn't even feel like nana got the same treatment as the other past holders of ofa who were all so mysterious and wise but nana just said she failed and that izuku should be prepared to kill shigaraki... like... where's the depth behind that... a lot of female characters in mha are just taken at face value in the story tbh
WHOS THE BADDEST BITCH IN THE CLUB ⁉️⁉️
guys there's a reason why horikoshi didn't make dabi femaleughhhhhhajahhahav
