I love their duet - the way they complement each other harmoniously with their differences. harry needs a good example and motivation, and kim, besides being very focused, is also a great manipulator. so good that harry (and even the player) doesn't even realize that he is sometimes taken for a ride. even kim's irritation at being 'distracted from his work' is not so much an emotional bore as a well-tuned approach to a particular person. harry doesn't refuse side tasks (as does the player), but he keeps the main task in mind at all times, and everything revolves around it in the end.
