Hi I’m pissed because I saw a manga spoiler in a TikTok video comment section because people don’t like a ship. So rant time

First of all, it’s all fictional. No one is getting hurt in these ships. Because, you know, they’re fictional ships.

What happened to “don’t like don’t read” like come on, it’s so easy to just, I don’t know, IGNORE?! Don’t like, don’t interact.

Second of all, what gives you the right to ruin the experience for others? And for what?

Not only is it rude and an asshole move, but it only strengthens the person’s conviction to keep doing what they’re doing. Trust me.

Third of all, the ship you don’t like is actually legal now. Is it still wrong cause of the parental role of one figure? Maybe. But that’s also NOT your call.

Fourth of all, people are entitled to their own opinions. And if it is not hurting you or anyone else tangible, it’s not your place to get upset.

Finally, I don’t even canonically ship them (yes I’m talking about Ereri). I canonically ship Eruri but read aged up fanfiction about Ereri with a smaller age gap cause I like the character dynamics. Wtf, people.

You’re being petty over a fictional ship and ruining the experience for others. Let people enjoy things.

People can, and have, shipped worse and will not stop because you tell them to. You’re just being mean for no reason.

The soft swish of a foot brushing against the floor came from behind him, followed by the light thud of a footstep. Draco’s head instinctively swung in reaction to the noise, his hands twitching on his knees, begging to reach out. His entire body was aching to move. Without a single physical bond aside from the one across his eyes, he could. In theory. But the knowledge that Harry, his master, was standing behind him, watching, forced him to remain still and compliant.

Draco’s mind was confined and he was never freer.”

Hey everybody, in the tags tell me something good that happened to you today 🙇

Whenever somebody asks me what HP means to me and I start thinking about it my eyes start watering immediately every time, my heart beats faster, a smile automatically appears on my face. It’s like falling in love. I am in love with this saga. It’s my childhood. My light in the darkness. The thing I turn to when I’m feeling like shit. Harry Potter is my life. I love it so much.

They go on like this for MONTHS, both pining while also spending all their time together. Jason making breakfast, going to the university together, Jason working at Clive’s lab between classes, Clive or Belinda teaching Jason how the technology they use work, then going home together and eating dinner. The only alone time they get is late at night in bed. Eventually Jason even becomes Clive’s TA.

The routine continues until it’s time to start thinking about publication. Everything is a mess. They arrive home later and later, bringing more and more work home with them. Then one night they’re seated on the newly cleaned couch (Jason has set strict rules on book and paper placement) while reviewing the figures for their paper and Clive starts to nod off.

He falls asleep on top of Jason… and Jason enjoys it. Too exhausted to moralize, he stays with Clive asleep on top of him while he organizes sources for a literature review, and then he falls asleep as well.

He wakes up in the morning feeling like a piece of shit while Clive acts like it’s completely normal.

A modern day AU where Clive is a lonely researcher and Jason works part time at a dumpling soup shop and at an office supply store.

Clive only goes out for three things - food, office supplies, and basic necessities. Somehow he runs into Jason doing all three of these. And somehow, the chef/server who will let Clive rant about his research, coworkers, the university (all while looking very interested), remembers his name and says hi to him every time they see each other.

Season 4 spoiler for AOT (really everything from season 1-3)

If anyone is feeling bad for the Marleyans... I want you all to remember when Grisha and his little sister snuck out to see the blimp. Yeah. How the guard killed his sister?

Then the scene where the other guard is laughing at the guy being chased by titans.

Now about the fact that they are all content with them sending Eldians to live in concentration camps.

Now how the Marleyans WANTED a war. They declared war. And they’re getting it.

Obviously it’s not black and white and the Marleyans aren’t all bad. Lots of propoganda. But you can’t tell me Eren just straight up destroying the bleachers with the Marleyan military wasn’t satisfying.
